The Cottage is located about 45 min. South-West of Downtown Miami in the Redland Farming district along the eastern boarder of the Everglades National Park. Roughly the size of a two-bedroom apartment, it stands alone in the south-east corner of the property. Surrounded by trees, and many types of orchids, Bromeliads, and other exotic plants. Privet, and off the beaten path, the Cottage is perfect for those who wish to stay away from town, yet be close for day trips to most all attractions.

Right in the middle of the beach, Las Olas Blvd, Sawgrass Mills Mall, and Wilton Drive. Many restaurants nearby. Walk a few blocks to Milk Money, a trendy local coffee shop. Sunrise Blvd is two short blocks away for fast access to the beach, the airport, Wilton Manors, and Miami. A large grocery store (Publix) is just two blocks away.

Toni's place was exactly what my partner and I needed for our trip to Florida for a family memorial, and Toni herself was *extremely* helpful and communicative! The home itself was perfect, the amenities provided were fantastic, the walkability of the neighborhood was amazing, and the lovely outdoor area made me wish I could have orchids growing on trees in Illinois (there's also a GIANT staghorn fern ball hanging outside the back door - my jaw dropped when I saw it). Highly recommend the Riverside Market a few minutes walk from the home (make sure to try the fried chickpeas!) and the pizza spot across the street from there :)

The outdoor area made this the perfect location for our family! Our three year old loved playing in the yard, exploring and hiding in the beautiful Banyon tree, searching for lizards and kicking the soccer ball around the turf lawn. We loved how safely he could play outside while we got ready inside or relaxed in the comfy hammock, marveling at the passing peacocks We were impressed by how fully equipped the tiny kitchen is and really appreciated there being coffee available to us. We also appreciated that there was multiple options for bug spray, as we did experience some bites while playing in the yard. Carole was very responsive when we had inquires and kindly accommodated special requests. This was a comfortable, clean and quiet base from which to explore the city. Note that a car is a must, relying on public transport from this location would be difficult. We would love to return!

Alex was an amazing host. We got in to Miami late on our check in date bc of the commute and she still stayed up to greet us in person. She was quick with responding and our communication throughout the trip was top notch (Especially when we immediately locked ourselves out lol) She gave a great recommendation for a local restaurant. Our space was very clean and the attention to detail was amazing. Alex’s husband folded the towels on the bed into swans with flowers as eyes from their beautiful garden patio. I loved listening to their pet birds chirping in the morning out on the patio. That is the experience you will have when you book with Alex. Don’t hesitate to book, this was really special.

The Cozy Cove was just that! I needed a reset and get away from the madness of life and as soon as I entered the space I knew I'd get what I needed and more. I am a stickler for cleanliness...so when I walked in and immediately smelled freshness, I was beyond ecstatic. It was small but well thought out. The way the space was decorated made you feel at home. I love being outside so the various sitting spots were wonderful for enjoying tea and journaling in the mornings and a nice fireside chat in the evenings. I cannot wait to return! 5 stars indeed:-)
