This house is absolutely beautiful. It is decorated very tastefully and had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and the ability to see all of the stars without extra ambient light sources. The smores fixings that were provided was a very nice touch. We loved the quiet location, but some might find the distance from the nearest town (about 15 minutes) a slight negative. We personally loved driving through the beautiful countryside, seeing the Amish with their horse drawn buggies and just planned our activities appropriately so we were able to get the supplies we needed when we were near a town. This air bnb was exactly as described in the listing. We came into town to cook an Easter meal for our son who attends a local university. We were able to execute that without a flaw! There were enough utensils and cookware. We had a nice relaxing time and also had our small black lab with us as well. As stated in previous reviews, the cabin is situated off a busy road. The traffic noise did not bother us at all. The cabin for our needs for a two nite sty and was not far from La Crosse! Communication from the host was excellent.

We decided to spend the weekend in SW Wisconsin and stumbled upon this place. how lucky we were. Amazing value for such a lovely place. Upon entering the house there was a refreshing smell that my wife shared was knowing the place was recently cleaned. Instructions were clear but more than that the hosts always promptly responded to our queries, we're super helpful and proactive. The place was great in a very secluded area. we took walks at night and never encountered anyone but felt extremely safe. The facilities had everything we needed and more. highly recommend this place and plan on coming back later in the summer

We've been staying here for several years. Tom and Julie are great hosts. They are very responsive, give local recommendations and the house is always spotless. We will continue to return in the future.

The pictures doesn’t do this place justice. It is not only beautiful and private but the house had everything we needed. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway this is the place to go. I would highly recommend this place to any couple or a group of friends.

We love to stay at this home! When you walk in , it feels like walking into a friend’s house. The home is very clean and comfortable. The home has a well stocked kitchen, and you can find several types of tea , local coffee and sodas. The home is located on a quiet street that is close to restaurants and shops in the downtown area. Thomas got back to me right away when I made the reservation and provided information about check in etc. It’s a great place to stay when visiting Viroqua. We’ll probably extend our stay on our next visit!

Linton Lodge exceeded our expectations. Peaceful. Quiet. Homey. My wife and I not only enjoyed the solitude, but were also able to experience nature. The Lodge's groomed yard, paths, and trails provided us the opportunity to observe the high level of bird activity and see several deer! The Lodge's deck provided a perfect view of the stars and moon without the light pollution of the city. Our host Susan played her role perfectly! The house was immaculately clean, properly stocked, and ready for occupancy when we arrived. Susan helped guide us with local arrangements and provided courtesies beyond Airbnb norms. As much as we enjoyed the Lodge during our early December visit, we hope to return during the spring and autumn to sample "nature at its best" during those seasons.

A gem! This place is comfy & cozy. The wood-burning stove and record player were highlights. Close to great hiking and loved checking out Viroquoa. Will definitely visit again!
