Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fareham

Me and my family stayed here for my mums birthday for the weekend. It was absolutely the most perfect place to be. Beautiful, spacious and modern house. With 3 bathrooms & robes for all of us. A very generous ampunt of cookery, pots, pans, glasses for us to use, which made it easier to cook in the kitchen. Also had salt, pepper, tea and a few bits of food for us to use. We travel a lot, and this is more than any other airbnb host has given us. The Jacuzzi was the highlight of our trip, so relaxing and easy to use. The rooms were neat and the beds and beddings were so soft and comfortable, I had a great sleep here. The house had a good heating system, an easy to use oven and cooker. The location was perfect. In a quite street, but a few mins from busy areas, shopping markets, the mall, the beach, and good restaurants. The host George was also very responsive. I have so much more great things I can say about this place. I highly recommend anyone to come and experience it for yourselves.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was everything we were looking for in a nice quiet getaway. Hosts were amazing, everything was very clean and instructions very clear. Would recommend!

this is a unique place to stay in, has all you need, and some luxury touches like a great coffee machine, large hot tub, pool table/games, sky (cinematic sounds). the garden is completely enclosed. there were little touches made to make us feel welcome and start the holiday off. the communal areas are spacious, so you can all be together without feeling on top of each other. there's also enough of them to separate yourself from the kids when you need a minutes peace. although its not a scenic location, it is great for access to lots of places to visit. within half hour drive is west wittering, bosham, portsmouth/ gunwharf quays, rackton monument. I'd recommend staying, and Paul was easy to communicate with (although we didn't have any issues). I would add that many of the bedrooms do not have a blind so if you're a light sleeper or have children,take sleep masks or a portable black out blind.

We had a great stay at Betty. Night time was very cosy out on the deck with the firepit and occasional animal noises keeping us company. Had some clear skies too so lots of stars and planets to look at! Amenities were all as described and the bathroom is amazing! Underfloor heating was very welcomed.

What a wonderful place to stay. The peace I sought was found, the relaxation that was so much needed was there and very much welcomed. Days spent walking in the New Forest were finished with a chilled glass of wine in the hot tub that was tended daily by a really lovely chap. The lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable with the basics of equipment there for your use, which is helpful. The whole experience is one I shall repeat and have already begun to tell others to check it out too

Absolutely gorgeous. Me and my partner loved the area very peaceful. Brilliant host very warm and welcoming. The cabin was immaculate. Very cosy. Definitely would love to come back!

Myself and 3 girlfriends stayed at the lazy lodge for two nights and we had such a lovely time. The check in was easy and Mark was very helpful. The weather was awful, but that didn't make a difference because the lodge was so cozy and warm. It's very private from the main house and certainly a quiet area. The hot tub was great, the only recommendation I'd make is to have the hot tub room more zen-like. Some darker tones would be easier for relaxing and someone to stand drinks. I'd also recommend extra towels for the hot tub to avoid soaking the normal ones. I would also suggest kitchen towel or tea towels for the kitchen area. Overall a fantastic stay and I would certainly re-visit. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great stay, it was a lovely place and Kate was really helpful. The fire alarm started beeping on our last night so we had to unplug it but other than that we had no problems!

Anne-Marie was a brilliant, accommodating and communicative host. We had a lovely stay in her very clean, functional and cosy annex cottage. She was great at making sure we were comfortable and on hand for any questions. A super host. Thank you !

We had a wonderful stay at Emma and Marks place. Lovely bungalow very clean and everything you need for a great stay. The garden was a good size and both my dogs loved it.The location was great for a short walk into the village and would definitely recommend this property and would definitely book again if we were to go back to Bembridge . Emma was very responsive to a very small issue we had which turned out to be something we should have been able to deal with ourselves, Emma very understanding about the issue.

Our family of three had a weekend away at Manor Farm cottage, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage and farm have loads of character and Hilary was such a gracious host, inviting our son to help feed the chickens in the morning. We were grateful for her recommendations for local walks in the New Forest, and our son was especially happy with the ample supply of toys and books in the evenings. Thanks again for the warm hospitality.

This was an absolutely delightful place for a family get together before Christmas. Paul couldn’t do anything about the bad weather but if anything it meant we could stay in and enjoy the lovely cosy house guilt free! The living area is perfect for gathering together with big comfy sofas and a wood burner. There’s also a brilliant modern kitchen which we used to cook a roast for 8 people with no problems at all. Paul was very helpful and actually noticed we had suffered a power cut before we did and was on hand to help. We also thought the Christmas tree was a lovely touch. We hope to come again, Maybe in the summer next time to enjoy the lovely surroundings more. Thanks Paul

We loved staying at the Turkey House this autumn. Straight out of the house you can walk through the beautiful woods up the Ashford Hangers and to the Poet’s stone. It is cosy with the Aga - never used one before but so easy and efficient to use. There is an electric stove but that wasn’t needed. The house has a ‘lived in’ feel. The well-stocked spice cupboard was very useful.

Spent a wonderful few days celebrating a special birthday. The cottage was wonderful in an exceptional location for walking and recharging the batteries and enjoying a relaxing time away. Would fully recommend the cottage and location for anyone wishing for relaxation and taking time out. The scenery is enchanting and changes throughout the day. Loved everything about the time away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It had everything we needed inside and more, we were welcomed by a hamper of goodies. The private garden was lovely where we enjoyed a BBQ and had visits from the amazing peacocks. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. We would love to visit again in the future.

Beautiful views from the living room of the water. Great kitchen setup with washer. The beds were super comfortable and lovely for us to have some separate rooms for the kids. Super close to great restaurants nearby, the DDay museum and shops. Jane was great and very responsive with a some good food suggestions as well. I would highly recommend to book it if in the area and would book again on our next visit :)

We loved our stay at the Party Barn. Katie was incredibly helpful with local recommendations and letting us use her lovely warm pool (set hours in the late afternoon, but she also gave us lots of flexibility during the day around her swimming lessons). Our kids loved visiting the pigs and sheep. The barn was very comfortable and we felt right at home there immediately. I'm sure we will be back. Thank you Katie!

Lovely caravan in a beautiful location. So close to the beach. The caravan had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay with all our family to celebrate a special birthday - we loved the house, all able to eat together around the table was wonderful, enjoying chatting and drinking in the beautiful lounge and the younger ones loved the hot tub and braver ones the swimming pool. Great position for all the lovely New Forest areas and walks

Just loved our stay at Susies cottage. Really comfortable and welcoming., and the table tennis table and pool table were a definite hit. There are lots of games books and a lovely garden. Cosy fire. Susie is a lovely host..

Just had a wonderful 2 night stay with our 3 young children. It was a cosy and homely base for our exploring, and we thought the added extras of tea/coffee/biscuits were lovely. We hope to return in future :) thank you!

What a beautiful home in a beautiful location! The views were spectacular - so lovely to wake up to. We spotted Oyster Catchers and Egrets from the jetty. Thoroughly recommend Catherine's home. Lovely log burner to keep you warmer on chillier evenings. Catharine was a very responsive host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Really convenient location, we walked to the beach and swam in the sea several times and ate out locally. Lidl and a little Tesco very nearby for buying groceries. If you want seaside 2p machines, avoid the amusements next to the Beachlands car park and go to the ones inside Funland. The pools at the park were great; indoor heated was a little deep for smaller kids to stand in, but they particularly enjoyed the heated outdoor one and there was also an unheated paddling pool and lots of seating. Caravan was great although the door was a little sticky and the oven dial indicators required a bit of guesswork - kitchen much better equipped than many we have stayed in. It is in a great location on the park as it’s right near the entrance and main hub. The kids appreciated the PlayStation after time outside and Jonathan was really quick to respond to all queries. We’d happily stay again if returning to the area.

We had the most amazing stay at Shalfleet Manor Barn. The property was even nicer in real life and set in the most wonderful quiet countryside. My children loved visiting the resident alpacas and running around free in the grounds and courtyard outside. The pool and gardens of the main house are also stunning. Would love to come back!
