Vacation rentals in Fanning Springs

We had an excellent stay with no problems at all. The property was easy to access, and the house was clean and situated in a peaceful neighborhood. I highly recommend it!

If you are looking for pristine-clean and organized, this is not the place for you. As the owners and others have said, Meg's place displays the wear and tear of being "well-loved." Beds were comfortable (one upstairs): the place is spacious. Kitchen had basic items. The outdoor equipment was abundant, but some was dirty and there were numerous broken pieces. (I'm sure it's hard to keep things nice with many visitors.) Outdoor furniture cushions have also seen better days, but if you have messy kids coming to play, you may appreciate not having to worry about everything being perfect! It was wonderful to be able to have our dog with us. The location on the Rainbow River is a BIG plus. We greatly enjoyed sunrises, birds, and otters from the back deck. It was super convenient to exit directly at the home after kayaking on the gorgeous river. The area is quiet and safe, and close to the Blue Run walking/biking trail too. Overall, we had a fantastic Christmas gathering at Meg's place.

Great location the house was incredible and we totally enjoyed ourselves. We were in Steinhatchee for the Florida redfish series so while my son fished the tournament we enjoyed our rest and relaxation. We will be staying again. Al’s response time for anything was great. Thanks Al!!

Great location. Easy checkin. Bed was comfortable. Loved the balcony in the mornings. Easy walk to nearly everything on the island. Katie is easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay, right on the river! In my opinion this is the absoute best location, it's super close to headwaters. The water is beautiful and the house is perfect. The pictures really don't do the place justice. I've stayed in many Airbnb's and this is the most comfy bed to date! Communication was superb with host and they were so helpful. There are some groceries nearby, which are helpful. If you are on the fence with this one, just book!

We absolutely loved our stay at Greg and Denise's place and are eager to stay again. Incredible location right along the river in short walking distance to two springs! Greg and Denise were very responsive and accommodating. While I loved exploring the river by canoe, I think my favorite part of my stay was waking up early, walking down to the river, and watching the fog move through the cypress trees with a hot cup of coffee! Thank you both so much!

Nice quiet area with so many springs nearby! Daniel was there to greet me at check in and was very nice! It was very private and my son was able to enjoy the fire pit. Remember, this is in the Florida woods, so there will be insects. Overall, it was a nice stay for my first camper experience.

This place is amazing. You can't beat the location. And Katie went above and beyond to be helpful. You won't be disappointed.

The house was very nice and we had a nice stay. Sadly we were in Ocala for my Mothers funeral however every time we returned to the AirBNB we felt like we were coming home instead of just an old hotel. The rooms were spacious and we felt comfortable. This host is great. I have two criticisms for you to look at and I never complained to our host and I’m still not but the floors were kind of dirty and dusty when we got there and I don’t think the hot water heater is on the right setting. It was hard to get hot water in the showers and also the kitchen sink is backwards as far as the cold and hot….thats totally it. The house is really nice and there wasn’t anything missing that we needed as far as kitchen, laundry, or bathroom necessities. Thank you!!!

We have used this camper and Lauren before, and plan to do so again! She is so accommodating and makes the whole process very simple.
