Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Evansville

Randy was so thoughtful and flexible in accommodating us. The hot tub was so much fun and made for a perfect relaxing New Year’s Eve celebration. It was a nice private backyard, and a huge home! Randy made everything easy and it was a great end to 2024. Thank you Randy!

Such a nice little getaway with close family friends, very secluded and comfortable. Really enjoyed a great functioning kitchen, big screen tv and a washer and dryer!

We always have a great experience when we stay at Brenda’s place. It’s like staying in our own home. Everything you need and she always available if you need her..

Really loved our stay, spacious and nice carpet for the baby to crawl on. Had a nice closet to set up our pack n play too. Only issue was the thermostat was set super high and difficult to find the right spot to touch to lower it, but I figured it out right after I messaged the host and she was quick to respond as well. Overall, definitely recommend!

Our stay was unusual, in that we live two blocks away, but suddenly found ourselves without power for days in the middle of an ice storm. Scrambling for a place for 4 adults and 2 small dogs, I remembered having seen the listing for the Hobbit House, and sent a message to see if they had power and would accept us on such short notice. They generously agreed to host us and we moved in within an hour or two. Even with no notice, we felt welcomed and pampered. While we normally wouldn’t choose a place with all the bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor, once we got settled it worked out well. We really appreciated all the thoughtfulness displayed, from treats to providing anything we needed for coffee, for showers, for relaxing with a game, for trying to work remotely. When we needed to extend our stay from two nights to five, again, it was generously permitted. I love knowing such a welcoming place is in our neighborhood.

The house was perfectly located for us—near the hotel where our basketball team stayed and close to the sports center. It immediately felt like home! The house was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and it was evident that it’s very well maintained. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

House is large and extremely well stocked. In a nice quite neighborhood and on a hill where you get a decent view of the sunsets. I walked into Newburgh a few times, took about 20 minutes, but I like walking. Kim was very helpful and communicative with all the questions I had.

Angela’s apartments are great. I have stayed in a couple of the ones that she has and both I have stayed at have been perfect. I’m also a host on Airbnb. I would say Angela is the greatest host I’ve ever encountered or come across on Airbnb. She really has some great places to stay and she’s a amazing host. Look forward to staying again in the future. Our family was very happy with our stay. It felt like staying at a friend’s house; comfy, eclectic and so many thoughtful things were included. I most appreciated having a complete kitchen with nearly everything needed to cook full meals. Eating out is so expensive when traveling with a family. And there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Will definitely hope to stay here next time we’re in town!

I left my flat iron there on accident, but luckily my MIL lives close & was able to retrieve it for me. They were so nice & understanding. Apartment was perfection. Every little detail was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again!

The host was so incredible to accommodate our special request at check in. It certainly got us off to a pleasant start. Those personal touches are what make a host exemplary. Special touches around the apartment made us feel at home.

It was close to work, clean, and saved me a 2 hour drive one way for 2 months. If I am sent back to Sabic, I will definitely try to stay here again. Sheree was very flexible with me when I had to extend my stay.

The Flats are incredibly comfortable and very clean! The hosts and property managers are very responsive and helpful. We’re short term renting due to local storm damage and they’ve made this process so much easier on us. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are very comfy and there’s plenty of space to spread out. I highly suggest staying at the Flats, whether it’s a few nights or a few months!

Kelly was simply amazing. We were traveling for sports and it was already stressful enough and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. The condo was freaking adorable and in pristine shape. She called me multiple times to try and ease my stress. Really no words can do her justice. A true godsend! We will stay with them again if we return to the area. Thanks again Kelly and Jason 💙💛

We rented six condos for my daughter’s wedding weekend in Evansville. All of the family staying there were super impressed with them!! This will be our go to pace to stay when traveling to Evansville from now on!

Place was as described. Nice for one or two people. It’s great to have a washer and dryer as well as a kitchen. Jackson was a great host and was really responsive. A few minor things could be fixed like the bedroom door, but overall it’s pretty nice. The heat went out at one point but Jackson was nice enough to give me a portable heater and was quick to fix the issue. Thanks for the great stay!
