I think this location is one of the most authentic in Addis. You’ll have access to a great neighborhood while still being close to some of the city's main attractions. Weyni and Heluf are amazing hosts who will make you feel at home and are always there to help. I would definitely come back! Plus, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent.

Weyni’s place is exactly as described: a family home with a nice courtyard, multiple guest rooms (at least one with private bath), and a kitchen for shared use. Her two young adult cousins maintain the place and are always around to help troubleshoot any issues that come up or cook food / delicious coffee. Weyni herself is reachable, responsive, and thoughtful - a great host. As others have commented, there are occasional power outages, and the internet is spotty. If you are visiting on business, I would recommend getting a local SIM with a data plan - I got two weeks of unlimited data for 10$ and was able to use that when the WiFi was unstable. None of these things detracted from my experience, and I would stay here again instead of in a sterile hotel. The house is tucked away from the main road, but only about 100m from International Clinical Laboratories (Bulgaria), which is a landmark that every taxi driver I had knew how to find.

Beautifully designed home located in the city center. Nice and quiet neighborhood also. Great host and communication.

Rekik & her husband Ed were very welcoming. I felt right at home. I came during the rainy season which is just as good of an experience if you have the proper gear (which I did) & itinerary. Ed, supplied me with a map & books to get informed about the culture and historical places around the city. They also suggested the neighbor next door who's a taxi driver that took me around town which made it much easier as I am not familiar with the bus system. Great place and great host! Weyni was very helpful over the phone and her family in Addis very kind and helpful too! Had some issues with the internet but my impression is that that is a wider Addis issue. Would highly recommend!

Kidists place is located a bit outside the hassle of the city and was very peacefull for me. The place was exactly like it was described in the photos and I really loved my stay over there. Anytime I will be visiting Addis this is going to be my place to stay for sure. The family who runs this place are very polite, helpfull and welcoming. The hosts really took care of me and guided me also around the city. The kitchen downstairs is really nice and we'll stoked for minor things which you need during the travel. Room was spacious and had a working Jaccuzi to relax. I really had a very nice Ethiopian Experience whole my stay at the Kidist's place which is what I actually wanted. I would Recommend this place for everyone. Thank you so kuch fir a lovely stay .

The heart taking view, the peaceful atmosphere, the squeaky clean furnished apartment made my stay beautiful. The working place is very good and worth to pay and stay. I would like to come and enjoy the place again. Bethlehem was a very good host and responsive. I recommend the place for anyone who would like to come and enjoy Addis Ababa.

I'm going to be honest with this review. I am the first and only guess to ever stay in this apartment. it is a new construction. you should know place is a work in progress. the living room and open kitchen area is immaculate. I believe it had a 65-in television and very comfortable sofas and the decor was impeccable and absolutely luxurious. the art and decor was very nice. the bathrooms were not excellent but just okay parent they really didn't match the decor of the living room. it does take care of the needs. there is a bathroom attached to each bedroom and one for the guests. there is hot water and every bedroom bathroom for showers. there are some paint splatter on some light switches and on some baseboards that need to be corrected. I will for worn that mattress in the bedroom is extremely firm. for me it was not very comfortable. I had to put two down comforters on top of the mattress to make it comfortable for me. I would return. the hostess is a beautiful person and helpful.

This place is very zen full and peaceful. The river next to the house make a waterfall noise which i find relaxing. The interior is also very well organized and decorated. I highly recommend this place.

Loved this place so much I stayed a second time when I came back to Addis. It’s super clean, quiet and comfortable. I loved having a fridge to store food and microwave and dishes to use. I also enjoyed the gym and sauna. The best part, the bed. Everything is high quality. The sheets, pillows, and blanket, all so comfortable. I’ll be staying here anytime I’m in Addis:)

The positives are many in this apartment. The cleanliness is very high. The furniture is new. It contains all your needs as a tourist. A very helpful person was helpful in helping me immediately. The only negative is that the Wi-Fi network is cut off every day and the problem could be from the internet company
