Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ethiopia

The villa is very big, there are three bedrooms, a large living room, a beautiful kitchen, and a very safe place. Almost everything is next to the house, including food and drink. The owner of the villa is a helpful man, and there is a car that helps you with your daily errands. Mr. David is also helpful and helps you with everything. I advise you to come and live here. We really enjoyed staying here. Mahetem was so kind and helpful. The place was immaculate and very safe. After some rough Airbnb experiences in Addis, finding this place was such a relief. Whenever I’m next in Addis, I’ll definitely look to stay here again.

This was our second stay at Sheref and Sabrina's place- and I think the first time I've chosen to stay in an Airbnb twice. We will keep coming back as long as they will have us- the apartment is centrally located, SO well stocked (can't think of a single thing I would add!) and the hosts are very communicative and flexible.

This listing is beautiful decorated and in a great location, with all the amenities you need. The view from balcony is stunning but above all - the host Israel went the extra mile making this stay truly memorable with his recommendations, support and willingness to help me navigated my stay in Ethiopia. I had an amazing stay! The place was fantastic — clean, comfortable, and in a perfect, walkable location with easy access to everything I needed. The onsite coffee shop was a lovely bonus, making mornings even better. Yohannes and his co-host Josi were incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish. A nice condominium apartment in a typical Ethiopian neighborhood. The cafee next door is few times late at light. The apartment is big and sufficient. Like sometimes in the day the full neighborhood is without electric or watersupply. But it is a good alternative for an b&b or hotel. thank you Hennock. love the lightning. ❤️

My husband and I stayed here and absolutely loved our stay. It was central to a lot of things for us. We also loved the interior design and high ceilings. We felt right at home and always felt safe. There is a supermarket in the same building as well and it was convenient for any quick things we may have needed.

This is our second stay at Nunu’s place, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. The house is excellent, and the security is outstanding. We highly recommend it to others! One of the standout features of this property is the reliable water supply—both cold and hot—along with a functional power generator that activates within half a minute of any power interruptions.

"The perfect location for the digital Nomad." I was remote working while in Addis and Feysal's place was perfect. Located in a scenic neighborhood on the outskirts of Addis with all the amenities you may need In the immediate area. Feysal is a super host (even if the app doesn't list him as one.) He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I fell sick when I was there and Feysal rushed to get me medicines and came to check up on me regularly to make sure I was doing well, and to get me anything I needed. Truly a wonderful stay and a lovely experience. I highly recommend it. -Stayed for a little over a month

I’m a peace corps volunteer living in Ethiopia and I was stopping through Addis on my way on vacation. Dan’s place was awesome. Very cool experience to see how people live in Addis. The apartment is in Very peaceful. If you’re not Ethiopian looking (like me) you’re likely to face a lot of harassment in the city BUT I didn’t experience a single issue in the complex. Dan is a wonderful host! Although I’m somewhat familiar with Addis, Dan drove me around the neighborhood, showed me some landmarks and some places to eat. The apartment is in a great location for anyone visiting. I also made some requests for kitchen utensils and he was so helpful getting what I needed. The apartment itself is by no means the best western, but it’s clean, comfortable and in a great area. The bathroom is very clean, the apartment in general was very clean, I had no issues with bugs and mysterious bites that I’ve become accustom to since living in rural Ethiopia. I will without a doubt stay here again. If you’re traveling to Addis from a different country and want to get a taste of how people in the city live, this is a great spot. Great host, clean, quiet, comfortable. Betam tiru!

I loved my stay here! We were accommodated very quickly despite booking last minute. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped with comfortable bedsheets, towels and all kitchenware. The location is amazing, central and close to the airport, cafes, and shopping. There’s a generator in the building but we never had a problem with electricity or water. The great sunset views from the balcony were an unexpected plus. The entire building is clean and well-kept. I will definitely be staying here again while in Addis. Our host was very responsive and helpful every step of the way. Thank you so much Massiah!

We had a lovely days in Addis Ababa and what made it even more enjoyable was the our host Dawit . Dawit's help and advice on guidance on good places to go and the prices of different things to avoid scammers. Dawit was there and responsive at all times Day and night. The place is walking distance from the center of the city for those who enjoy walking.
