Heather’s stay was undoubtedly my favorite of all stays I’ve ever experienced. I could have lived in this new, beautiful accommodation indefinitely! Cold libations in the fridge awaited me, quality drinking water was always available, wanted for nothing in the kitchen accoutrement & utensil department, the mattress and fresh, crisp, bed linens were so welcoming at the end of an exhilarating Nicaraguan day & Heather was always available for suggestions & advice for local happenings & ideas. What a quality Host! In fact, She and Her faithful, furry, four-legged companion shared an impromptu ride to experience a sunset at the local beach just a few minutes drive away. And the icing on the cake - a horseback ride with Heather’s “Big Sky Horseback Riding and Stables”. Monkey’s howling, a sloth & baby clinging to the branches above, a gallop down the beach and finally ending the ride with a cold beer to enjoy while reminiscing about the ride. BEST STAY EVER! BOOK, STAY & RIDE! BEST EVER!

This place was great. The property manager met me at the apartment soon after I got off the bus from Rivas. (The cab drivers will try to trick you-don’t believe them. The bus is very quick, brings you right where you need to be, and costs C$30, aka $1USD)The mercado, where the bus drops off, is just a few minutes walk from the apartment. I liked that guests pay utilities, because this allowed me to pay a very fair base price and then it was up to me to decide what the total cost would be. I didn’t use the Air conditioner except for a few days, so my utility bill was negligible. The location is very good and the kitchen very well equipped. I did have trouble with the WiFi on my phone and laptop, but Harry did everything he could to try to figure it out. It seems I was the only tenant with issues, so perhaps it was an “operator error.” I’m not great with technology :/ This did not affect my enjoyment of the apartment, or the wonderful town of San Juan. I had such a great stay at Marielle and Marc’s Airbnb! They were super helpful with anything I needed over my month long stay. The Airbnb is exactly like the pictures (even bigger!) and is in the perfect location, 2 minutes from the beach but on a nice quiet street. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This place is amazing!! The hosts were very helpful pro active in their communication. I loved the place and the house and when I arrived fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden were awaiting me. There hosts were not there themselves but the care taker of the house was super nice and helpful as well! Also the people in the village were so kind. The place is totally as nice as the photos show which is often not the case with accomodations. Good to know. It is only a 30 min walk two the two nearest beaches! Unfortunately I had mostly pooring rain while there do a reason to cone back in the dry season :). Thank you Paula and Nadim!
