Beachfront vacation rentals in Elizabeth City

Ashley was a GREAT host, very responsive and a caring host. Provided high chair requested, allowed an earlier check-in to help accomodate special needs child and was very concern when access lock was having problems and responsive. Problem was pribably our mittle hands tiuching all the numbers. Pool was extremely clean and as described in pictures and notes. Had family of 17, 8 adults and 9 kids ranging in age from newborn to 13. Bedrooms were good size to accomodate and all suites having own bathroom was wonderful for 5 families.

My family and I had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and Robert gave clear instructions on how to be prepared for our arrival. It was an amazing experience and we would definitely vacation here again!

Our stay was perfect. House was so close to the beach, just a short walk. We were centrally located to many activities. Communication was great and the house was very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Pat and Chuck were nothing but excellent! They were great with communication, responding almost immediately every single time. The welcome to their place made you feel very comfortable. Everything was so tidy and clean, hosts were so thoughtful with leaving little items in the room for guests to use. We would absolutely love to stay at their place again!

Second year in a row renting the house, which was very clean on arrival. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower, pool, hot tub, etc. Beach access is only two houses down and there is a designated walkway for you to cross. Low tide is great for surfing with 2 sand bars. The main road is busy, but doesn't bother you while enjoying the pool or decks. The house has everything you need for cooking, grilling, playing in the pool and going to the beach. There are plenty of beach chairs, beach toys for kids, a cooler, and beach buggy to carry it all to the beach, which is a small upgrade made by the owners. Staying there two years in a row we have noticed the owners care and have done small upgrades, which is appreciated b/c we have rented houses where you can tell upgrades have not been made in years. Kitty Hawk pier is within walking distance. The pictures represent what you will get in the house and are true. Mary and Andy were great with communication and we look to rent the place again.

I can't say enough about Carrie's place... It was perfect for what we were looking for. There were still some Christmas decor remnants that made it even more cozy and special. The place is beautifully decorated and feels like home. Location was private and in an area that isn't TOO commercial, but still close enough to some great places that are walkable, including fine dining, great breakfast, golf... Oh, and the beach! Going to try to figure out when we can get back in slightly warmer weather... Looking forward to a re-visit!!! Thank you Carrie. 😊

This was the perfect first vacation to take with our baby! We had such an amazing time. The house was fully stocked with essentials, everyone had their our own bathroom, the location and short walk to the beach was so nice! It was such an amazing value, just all around, perfect. We had a very memorable vacation and everyone kept talking about how much they want to come back and how great of a pick the house was ! HIGHLY recommend!!! :)

Fantastic stay! Everything is as advertised and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. My family and I stayed here over Thanksgiving and were happy to find a well-stocked kitchen, games galore, and TVs in every room - something for everyone. The hot tub is new and in great condition - a fantastic winter treat! Worth noting that the beds were very comfortable and having laundry access was an added bonus. The beach is just steps away and you can hear the ocean from every room in the house with windows open. A quaint cottage nestled into a private neighborhood but still not too far from shops and restaurants. It was everything we wanted and we’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Came for Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. This was our first trip with our puppy and Sarah made us feel right at home, leaving us and our pup welcome baskets. The place was very nice, just as described, and the surrounding area was quiet. Check in and check out was a breeze, and there was plenty to do within 10 minutes of our stay. Would definitely stay here again when visiting OBX.

This listing is exactly what you see and is perfect for one or two people. I loved the decor, it was very quiet, and the walk to the beach is 5 minutes on the nose (I timed it). I had a few questions and the hosts were very friendly with a fast response time. I loved the outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Great dog friendly rental in OBX! Having grass and a small fenced yard for late/early potty breaks was so convenient. Our dog relaxed right away on arrival, immediately getting a drink and dog biscuit from the provided bowls. What a rare treat to find a place so special for our four-legged family members. :-D Everything was very clean and comfortable and cozy. Loved reading in the sunroom. The house was stocked with more than we could possibly imagine needing in terms of food and supplies (so it's a bit cluttered and not a lot of space for your own items, but nothing you cannot work around). As others have said, definitely felt more like HOME than a rental and we truly appreciated that! Thanks for sharing your home and for a lovely getaway!

Randy is a great host. I found the house very clean when I first got there and he had everything anyone would need for a beach vacation. I would definitely be going back next year.

We celebrated my daughter's 15th bday with a girls weekend at the Sand Pyle & had a wonderful time. The house is very nice & exactly as pictured. We stayed in the middle of January, so we were happy to find a whole cabinet full of games. b/c even though we had no plans to go to the beach or anything, it was cold & a little rainy. The house was very clean & the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes & cookware, even coffee & some seasonings. checking in & out was a breeze too. I would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was just the right size and loved that it was so close to the beach. It was perfect for the quick getaway that we were doing. The towels and linens were great, but could use some better pillows. Whitney was very responsive and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great little cabin...very close to the beach...easy walk, or just a 1 minute drive to Jeanette's Pier. All the restaurants and shopping to the north/All the peace and solitude to the south...Both are great. The house is great. Very comfortable beds and living room furniture. Patio area out front with a grill for the nice nights. We had some ugly weather roll in, so it was nice to sit out on the screened-in porch to stay dry. Would absolutley choose to stay here again on a future trip.

My family and I had a great vacation at Gordon’s Airbnb rental. The property is not cluttered but at the same time was fully furnished as it had everything that we needed from can opener, crab and oyster eating utensils, eletric griddle for making breakfast, and etc. Its location is top notch. You cross the street from the property and you’re at the beach. You walk 20 yards north of the road and you’re at Black Pelican which is an awesome restaurant (they have the best and finest texture coleslaw and killer seafood menu). We will surely try to catch and reserve this unit again in the summer! Thanks for being great hosts, Gordon and Jan!

Great location- super close to the beach and good restaurants. Having a garage to store our bikes is key for us. The pool was very clean and we even got to join a water aerobics class with the locals - everyone was very welcoming.

The place was amazing, private, really close to the beach where you could see the horses Inside you had everything you need The only thing is they didn’t have bath wash and shampoo or conditioners Only dish detergent But besides that the place was equipped with all you need

This was a great, quiet location with a very easy and short walk to the beach. A very small glimmer of the ocean can be seen through the living room window and from the front upper deck. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The hot tub was great to use in the evenings after a long day of being out and about. Having a clothes washer and dryer was a plus, as we didn’t need to take home dirty laundry! The hosts provided excellent recommendations of things to see and do, as well as where to eat.

The house, location, and everything about the stay was perfect. The house was very clean, and exactly as described. The pool and hot tub were both great and enjoyed by all. I keep thinking about the view from the living area of the ocean. Was definitely the most relaxing, stress-free vacation we've had in a long time, we'll be back!

Great spacious house, responsive hosts that seemed eager to fix issues.

The house is great and the host was extremely helpful and both deserve a 5 star rating. The host was very responsive and even brought over some extra chairs because we were all stuck inside the house due to the cold weather. We have stayed at over a dozen places in various areas of the outer banks and despite the weather this has been our most enjoyable experience. The great room is beautiful, and the ocean view is spectacular. The pier is closed now, but we will come back in the summer to enjoy the pier next door and the beach.

Three families were together at this beautiful beach side house for 1 week and had a fantastic stay. Although it was winter, there were plenty of amenities that we were able to use such as the fire pit and the hot tub. Almost all the rooms had ensuite bathrooms which was awesome! We would absolutely return to this house in the future!
