Staying with Dennis and his lively family was wonderful in every aspect. The location is great, with the balcony overlooking the river and the sound of the nearby rapids putting us to sleep at night. There are plenty of comedores and small shops just meters away. All members of the family - Daisy, Dennis‘ wife as well as their four children - were friendly and open and it was great to talk to them or go for a little exploration. Thanks for the wonderful days!

I had such a wonderful experience with Susanne and her family. On arrival I was invited to a family celebration and was very warmly welcomed and well fed. The cabin is excellent with a huge bed and a good shower. I spent most of my time working on my computer on their porch, and thankfully the internet didn't fail once across 3 days. I was able to use their kitchen to make and share meals. Susanne even let me pick spinach and herbs from the garden to cook with. It's a very tranquil area. The opposite of touristy. There's a river nearby, which is a nice place to catch the sunset. Above all, the way I was looked after by Susanne and her partner, Julio, made it one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. Julio kindly took me on his motorbike to the shops and lent me one of his long-sleeve shirts to keep the mosquitoes at bay. Getting to interact with little Thiago, their son, was a big bonus too. As you can probably tell, I highly recommend you stay here!
