really a good place to live in for holiday. lovely view esp. when you have a walk in the morning, the view around that area is amazing. Convenient location to go to Edinburgh as well. Everything is clean and tidy. There is a mini fridge in too. highly recommended!

Wonderful host in a wonderful city. We spend a week in October in the coziest spot in town - away from the bustling city in a local home. Fiona welcomed us and told us all we needed to know. She provided everything we needed and the sweetest golden retriever. Couldn't have wished for a better place to sleep. Huge thanks from Denmark! 🇩🇰

We loved staying here, very easy entry but was down stairs in the cellar so was a tad slippy and dark. The room was absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures. Smelt amazing when you walked in and everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfy and cozy, very nice and warm room perfect for December in Edinburgh! Bathroom was perfect too and we even had a little side room for our bag and coats off our bedroom which was nice to have things out the way. Great location next to the park and a very easy walk to town/ train station and bus links. Would 100% recommend this place to stay.

Our stay at Emily’s Airbnb was nothing short of a delight. For starters, the booking provided incredible value for money. For what we paid, we expected a small bedroom with an attached bathroom. Instead, we were granted access to our own wing of a manor. The bathroom was both old world AND cutting edge, and the bedroom suite felt lifted from a Scottish episode of “Downton Abbey”. The kitchen was also fully equipped to facilitate a full Scottish breakfast every morning. Lastly, Emily was the consummate host. She was incredibly generous with her knowledge of the area, and even decorated the room with Christmas decorations. When next we’re in Edinburgh, Emily’s place will be our first port of call!

Andrew is an immensely helpful host who offered local information making our stay very easy and pleasant and also helped with last minute check in\out requests. The home was very clean and well equipped and in a very good location to get around even boasting a local cinema and shopping complex. It has been a pleasure to stay in Edinburgh for the first time and will most certainly stay at Andrew’s place again on our next visit. Thank you, Andrew & Patricia, for a lovely experience.

46 Cumberland St is a perfect slice of Edinburgh. Walkable to all major sites, food, and shopping while tucked away on a quiet, historic street. The townhouse was comfortable and spotless. The Christmas decor added an extra special touch and the updated bathroom was a wonderful surprise. 10/10 recommend!!

We didn’t want to leave. Tansies home was beautiful, clean, quiet and the most comfortable beds. We took advantage of nearly every recommendation she provided and our Edinburgh stay was so greatly enjoyed. Easy walks to many places and a short uber ride to The Royal Mile…even though you could walk. We would absolutely recommend Tansies home to anyone traveling to Edinburgh and without a doubt, we would stay there again.

Lovely stay only 20 mins from the centre. Also easy to get the bus straight to the zoo! The place was very homely and happily stay again.

Thank you Douglas for a lovely 10 day stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was in Edinburgh for a long period for work and Douglas provided everything I could need. The room was clean, cosy, and warm! Heated floor in the bathroom was hugely welcomed in the December cold. Douglas kindly made room for me in the fridge and kitchen cupboard. Douglas and Matthew were very friendly and welcoming. I loved to see them watching Drag Race together in the evenings! ✨ Would recommend this place for anyone looking for quiet residential accommodation a little bit outside of the hustle and bustle.

Emma’s home is an utter gem. To be able to stay in such a welcoming and beautiful home, a real home, made us feel instantly welcome and thoroughly at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was as per the description and so much more. We were in Edinburgh for a sep I’ll family celebration and were able to really create some joyous moments. We are music lovers and having a stunning grand piano in a music room was the icing on the cake. Can’t wait to return!

Really nice spacious flat in a great area of Edinburgh. I spent 2 weeks here and loved it. Marina was super responsive and generous, providing a well-stocked kitchen and a thorough introduction to the flat and the city.

Katrina and David were super friendly and helpful hosts. Everything was as described. Comfy beds and whole house clean. Felt like home. Would not hesitate to recommend and would return if ever in this area again.

The house has beautiful exterior as well as pretty and well organized interior. There are bus stops few meters away from the front gate. The kitchen is very tidy and good for cooking. Kay is kind from the heart.

I stayed in the Zen room for a month and couldn't recommend it more! The house is beautiful, has everything I could possibly think of needing, and I felt right at home. Gemma is a wonderful host, she gave me so many recommendations, hung out with me in the evenings, and even drove me around in her car when I felt unwell for a couple of days. Indigo (the dog) is an absolute sweetheart, and although Gemma offered to have her looked after outside the house, I am a dog lover and we ended up spending a lot of time together. The other guests were friendly and I felt very safe. I will definitely be coming back when I'm next in Edinburgh!

Clare’s place was fantastic. Great location, really comfortable, good beds and linen and extremely clean. Lovely ensuite bedrooms. Clare was very helpful and answered any questions straight away. We had a great stay and will definitely go back again !

The location is great, with the 31 bus stop right outside the residential development. The house is new and in excellent condition.

Great place, easy to get to and travel into Edinburgh

We had a lovely few days staying at Magnus’ home, which is very welcoming and has lots of character. All the instructions were clear and easy to understand and follow, and Magnus’ communications were excellent. The house is situated in a quiet area of the city with amazing views of Arthur’s seat from the lounge window. Very easy to get a 5 min cab ride to city centre or a 20 min walk. We were also greeted with lovely bottles of wine from the host which is a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend Magnus’ place as a great choice to stay in Edinburgh

Our stay at Gemma's place was very easy. The airbnb is located in a cozy and quiet neighborhood. The room itself was clean and orderly. Gemma was always available whenever we had questions. In short, it is definitely recommended value for money!
