Olga is very friendly, and the place is quiet and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing stay. It’s about 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre, making it a convenient location. We also appreciated that it was pet-friendly! A foldable table for dining would make the experience even better, but overall, we had a great stay.

Wonderful host in a wonderful city. We spend a week in October in the coziest spot in town - away from the bustling city in a local home. Fiona welcomed us and told us all we needed to know. She provided everything we needed and the sweetest golden retriever. Couldn't have wished for a better place to sleep. Huge thanks from Denmark! 🇩🇰

It was a real pleasure at Alison and Phil's home. Alison and Phil have been nothing but super hospitable and friendly. They also have the cutest little dog Teasel. Every day they provided us with fresh water, coffee and tea readily available in the room including some nice biscuits :-) the location is superb, it's only a 20-30 min walk to the center, a lot shorter by tram, which stops right in the street next to the house. We really enjoyed staying at their cozy place, and will definitely book again if we decide to revisit Edinburgh!

Guy is a fantastic host. The house was warm, clean and very spacious yet it still felt cosy. The three bathrooms are brilliant if you're travelling in a group. As we were staying over Christmas, Guy provided a beautiful Christmas tree that we loved. He also left us a lovely basket of goodies on arrival, including essentials like milk and bread. The house feels private and was lovely and quiet with a great parking space. Easy bus or walk into town to see the delights of Edinburgh. Would highly recommend Guy's place! We had a gorgeous time there.

We loved staying here, very easy entry but was down stairs in the cellar so was a tad slippy and dark. The room was absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures. Smelt amazing when you walked in and everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfy and cozy, very nice and warm room perfect for December in Edinburgh! Bathroom was perfect too and we even had a little side room for our bag and coats off our bedroom which was nice to have things out the way. Great location next to the park and a very easy walk to town/ train station and bus links. Would 100% recommend this place to stay.

superb experience. Emily is a truly great host. Kind, thoughtful and generous, Emily went above and beyond to help us which we appreciated very much indeed. The apartment is luxurious in every respect. And the location is, of course, perfect. We love the city and have been visiting regularly for decades. This was our best trip yet. Even Storm Eowyn could spoil it; thanks to Emily.

Thank you for a gorgeous 4 weeks in Edibugh. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home. Such a great location in Edinburgh as in the pretty new town, easily accessible to the old town and leith and many hill walks! Rosie was a really helpful host and very communicative. We loved the kitchen and the living room and the place felt very cosy. Some great bars around aswell!

We were warmly welcomed by Douglas, Matthew and Max the dog. They were super friendly and our room was really nice. We got some local tips when we asked and had some nice chats about the city. Overall great experience!

Richard is an excellent host, although we didn't meet him,.his communication was proactive and clear. We had a pleasant stay which was clean and comfortable. Location is very convinient for Edinburgh City Centre whilst being private and very quiet, despite being relatively close to a train line. Overall a great stay, highly recommended!

We had an absolutely magical stay at Sam’s place! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into Hogwarts. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the comforts of home. The bathroom and the bedroom were perfectly cleaned and equipped with all the necessary. The location was perfect to visit all major attractions by walk. The apartment just next to the Arthur’s Seat hill made the hiking plan easier. What truly made my stay special, though, was Sam’s personal touch. He offered personalised tours that made the sights feel even more enchanting and with plenty of options every day. Additionally, he was really flexible on check-in and out. Finally, he also surprised us with small gifts and breakfast essentials, which added an extra layer of kindness to the experience. A no-brainer choice for the next time in Edinburgh!✨🪄🧙‍♂️

I had a wonderful stay! The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The room was very comfortable allowing a restful night's sleep. This a great place to stay to enjoy the delights of Edinburgh. Walks around Arthur's seat and Salisbury Crag can be done from the doorstep and the bars and restaurants of the city are also within walking distance. The house itself is very homely and beautifully decorated with works of art. There is also an amazing collection of books. I'm very likely to return to Edinburgh and would definitely stay here again.
