Exceeded expectations. Woodstove cooking was awesome. My kids made steak, chicken, brats, veggies, eggs, and bacon on it. We also dropped a piece of bacon and we learned the smoke detector works super well! Ha! We visited Whitefish Point, Tahquamenon Falls, Goatlocker Saloon, and Paradise markets. All were easily accessible from the cabin. If you want to have an outhouse experience also, this is the place for you! My kids loved seeing the mushrooms and watching their poop the entire weekend. Nothing quite teaches kids about the earth than understanding how the earth helps clean our waste! :) There were lots of conversations about what they saw in the outhouse. We had some outlets that didn't work (per our own electrical knowledge) and our host was responsive and considerate. I felt well taken care of. Christy is the type of host airbnb should be proud to have use their service. The 13-year-old wants me to reserve it in February for snowmobiling. That's how cool that space is.

The place was as advertised! Clean, comfy, and relaxing. Definitely recommend staying here.

This cozy cottage was perfect for our family of four! We snowmobiled and the loved how easy it was to access the trail head. We felt right at home and had a great weekend full of memories. Jodie was super responsive and a great host! Our family will definitely be back!
