The glamping was awesome!!! We had so much fun. The tents were spacious, very clean, cozy, and warm. The showers under the stars was gorgeous. The sequoias are so close and it's the perfect spot for hiking. Couldn't ask for a better vacation. Thanks so much, we'll definitely be back!

NO SMOKERS Tent camping at it's best #2

AmiraRating, 5 stars35 months ago
We stayed here for my best friends birthday weekend. We wanted to explore sequoia National park at the last minute and found this spot which was about 1-2 hours from the park but well within budget. The campground was a great place to start/end our days and had all the necessary facilities. Fair warning, the lights automatically go out around 9/10 so if you’re coming back from exploring late or plan to stay up definitely bring head lamps. I’m sure you could also possibly ask to have the lights turned back on.

Canvas Cabin C1

We loved our stay! The place was neat, the view and the sound of the river is amazing. You’re not very remote which makes it convenient to find, but you do hear the cars from the road next to the camp. Easy walk down to the river is also beautiful:) We stayed in January and were the only ones there which was awesome! So quiet and serene 🥰 The tents are somewhat close together so you’d definitely hear your neighbors during the busy season.

NO SMOKERS. Tent camping at it's best #1

DeltonRating, 5 stars9 months ago
this was the PERFECT place to get away for 3 nights/4 days! my munchkins, ages 13 and 10, had a blast swimming and exploring the river with 2 kayaks (an amazing bonus) that were available! i appreciated having a refrigerator, grill, plenty of dry firewood, a sink, and plenty of tables and benches to make cooking and washing dishes easy! the munchkins also were able to relax on a round hammock swing! there even were a couple mulberry trees that not only added to the large amount of shade at the campsite but also provided some sweet treats! the bathroom, shower and washer/dryer room was in the back of hosts’ house but easily accessible. and lastly, the hosts Mona and Dale were very friendly!

Canvas Cabin B1

This was our second time camping here and it was even better than the first time we came. we love it more and more every time we’re going to be booking for august again! So much to go explore around sequoia and kern a lot of driving to get to certain hikes but so worth it and so many spots near camp to explore also. it was so great to go exploring all day and come back to camp to have hot showers and make our cozy campfires right in front of our little cabin overlooking the river ! Our toddler had a blast this entire trip and slept like a dream and so did we. Carrie was so awesome and helpful really friendly and accommodating also all the staff was so nice and helpful and accommodating ! everyone was so great! everything tied together made us never want to leave , this is such an awesome place real camping with a dash of comfort. forever our little camping spot hope it never changes. Thankyou can’t wait to come back again. :) ! -Adrian , Ivy & baby Leni 💕

Paradise Ranch Inn - Abundance Tent

LucyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at paradise ranch! We loved taking cold plunges in the river, sitting in the sauna 🧘, eating our meals by the fire under the stars, and having hammock time with a good book. The river views were spectacular and it’s clear the team has put in a lot of work to build out trails on the property. Kenneth was responsive and gave us a nice tour of the whole property. We left feeling refreshed and inspired

Stargazer Glamping Tent

TamaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was such a peaceful stay! I absolutely loved the setup and the being in such a beautiful location. It was the removed, spacious spot that I was craving. I spent a couple days just exploring the areas and trails around the lake and up near Kernville - the rocks everywhere are incredible! Breanna was proactive in communicating details early, everything was easy to find/use, and I felt like I was taken care of. The blankets and small heater were perfect for the colder nights - it did get pretty windy, and the sound of big gusts against the tent was a bit unsettling for my dog, so camper may be a good option if you're concerned about that.

Great cabin in a beautiful area! Our stay at SoCalOut was perfect for a quick trip into the Sequoia National Forest. We enjoyed the balance of rustic and convenient - late season camping without freezing. It was a beautiful setting with river views, and convenient to mountain hikes and to cute town exploring in Kernville. Would definitely go back!

Stargazer Camp - Sunset View

AshlieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The yurt style tent created a unique stay over experience. It felt like we were camping, minus the labor of packing and setting up a bunch of supplies. We had a quick one night stay and enjoyed the peaceful night sky and quiet sounds of the mountains. The Pinehurst Lodge was in a short distance walking distance and we liked the bartender/ owner Linda, as well as the food and atmosphere so much, that we went back up for another drink and billiards before bed! There was a wonderfully charming local named Charles who sang karaoke that gave us great tips for what not to miss in Sequioa NP. Thank you Charlie!! And thank you to our host Derek. We appreciate the unforgettable experience!
