Guesthouse vacation rentals in Eastern Sierra

We had a wonderful time over the weekend staying at The Funky Chicken! It is situated about 45 minutes away from Yosemite and five minutes from nearby grocery stores, which helped us pack perfectly for our trip. We enjoyed returning to the hot tub at the end of the day and we’re thoroughly impressed by how spacious the place felt. The kitchen is spotless and had everything we needed to cook basic meals, the couch and TV area are super comfortable, and we had a great foosball tournament! The bed was also incredibly comfortable and made it hard for us to get up in the mornings to go hiking. 😂 Would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect, took advantage of the private space. Kids had lots of fun on the playground and lake. The views are spectacular, one of my top favorites. Be prepared to take your own toiletries. Will definitely be back.

Jonathon's place was perfect, great location and good price. Cute little house and perfect for me my fiancé and our girls. Quiet street and neighborhood overall a great place and we will def be back.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for the night and popped up AirBnb and this spot was one of the first ones that was suggested and I’m glad it did! The house was exactly as described and Kadi was quick to respond to any questions. The creek was a beautiful added touch in the morning to check out. We would recommend staying here and if we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely stop!

A Peaceful Retreat Surrounded by Nature! Our stay at John’s cabin was absolutely magical. The cabin itself was cozy, charming, and well-equipped, making it the perfect home base for a relaxing getaway. What really made this place special, though, was the incredible exposure to nature. We had the pleasure of seeing deers and opossums right on the property, which was such a treat for us. I wish we could have been able to see bears!! It felt like a true escape into the wild, with the peaceful sounds of nature all around. John is an amazing person. We loved his polite and gentle nature. He was very welcoming and gave us a tour around the house. We will definitely come back to visit him and stay at his beautiful place. I would highly recommend staying at John's place if you're in the area for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway.

Haley was a great host and was very responsive to my messages. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The little home had everything we needed, we felt right at home. And there were lot of toys and board games for our 6 year old son to play after winding down from a hike in the mountains or playing down at Slick Rock. The property is conveniently located near some good restaurants and market, as well as a few miles from the entrance to the National Park. Haley had some good recommendations in her guest book that were super helpful for us. I think we tried most of them. We would stay here again if we revisit the area. Just wow! I frequently visit family in Fresno and this is by FAR the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. And given I’ve stayed in close to 50 Airbnbs all over the world, my standards are pretty high. The host was extremely communicative and friendly. The place was spotless, the bed was sooo comfy, and the design of the place couldn’t have been cuter. The weather outside was freezing and we were worried the place would be cold too, but nope. It heated right up. And quickly too! The best part was the neighborhood. It was an easy walk to Tower District and Olive Street where there were tons of the most charming family owned stores, restaurants, cafes and bars. Don’t hesitate to book here. Jose’s place is SUCH a gem!! I will absolutely be staying here again.

We had an incredible time at this cozy cabin just a short drive from Yosemite National Park. About 30 mins from the south entrance and another hour to the valley. The location was perfect for exploring the park and offered a peaceful retreat after a day of hiking. The cabin itself was clean and well-maintained. The only small drawback was the lack of coffee supplies. While the kitchen was fully equipped with a coffee maker, there were no coffee grounds, or filters provided (unless leftover by previous guests). It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind for future guests and would’ve been a simple touch, if provided by the host. The kitchen is small, but was perfectly fine for our stay as we didn’t do any extravagant cooking. We loved all the cozy blankets! And the washer dryer was very useful as we packed light and one of our days was spent hiking in the rain. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Yosemite!

Great location in the hills surrounded by friendly farm animals. Very convenient to get to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

Mary was super friendly and a great host! She greeted us and toured us around the property, and had really great recommendations for us around the area. The property and cabin itself was gorgeous! Absolutely amazing view of the surrounding mountains, great sunset / sunrise views. Inside the cabin, while small, was really nice and very well maintained! We slept two people very comfortably. Loved taking advantage of the outside seating, charcoal grill, and fire pit. Definitely recommend this listing as a good base for exploring the surrounding southern Sierra Mtns area. Would love to be back sometime!

We absolutely loved Ashley's place. It had everything we needed, and she also offers some food items for sale that you can easily pay with those payment apps. We had issues with some unclean mugs and an unclean towel, but Ashley quickly responded, apologized, and made up for it. I would totally recommend this place if you're visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP.

Sarinah's cozy little house is a great launching pad to explore the national parks as well as a perfect place to hide away for a mountain retreat. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay and the hot tub has one of the best views! The photos of the place accurately represent the house - the road to get to the house is very twisty and is dirt (totally doable in our small SUV, but good to know if you're not used to driving mountain roads). The location is perfect if you're looking for a quiet escape. I would definitely stay again!

What a fantastic place! Perfectly situated along the river and just moments from the entrance to Sequoia National Park, it offers unparalleled convenience. Spend your days hiking through sequoia and kings canyon parks, then return to this serene and beautiful home. It’s fully equipped with everything you could need. The host is exceptional—responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Three Rivers; it truly is the ideal place to stay. I’ve stayed at Cara’s properties several times - and always feel confident booking my return trips. This apartment and location is lovely - and Cara is a gracious host!

Shelly was a great communicator, and we really enjoyed our stay in Parhump. Only a 1 hour drive from Death Valley, and less to Vegas. Place was well kept and pretty spacious with a stocked kitchen, and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend!

Maja’s house in Mariposa was wonderful, super cute and an absolute peaceful place to spend time away from home. My wife and I spent a few days with our pups in Mariposa to escape before the holidays and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing in the loft/nook. Maja did such a wonderful job with the place and make it comfy for us as guests, 10/10 would recommend!!
