Vacation rentals with a patio in East Wittering Beach

We had a wonderful stay at driftwood: a great location adjacent to the beach; within walking distance to a wonderful pub (the Lifeboat Inn) and right next to a bus stop with a regular service to Chichester. We spent a couple of days cycling around Selsey, exploring the surrounding area and the location was perfect for our needs, providing a comfortable, secure and tranquil retreat for us at the end of the day. Nick was a great host, who was attentive when we needed it, and left us some basic provisions to get us started, which was very much appreciated. We will come again!!

what an amazing apartment. Clean, tidy and all the top end mod cons... couldn't fault this place 1 bit... the welcome gifts as well added an extra special touch...I just hope this is available for my next visit!! I feel very spoilt

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! The house was exactly as described, with all the essentials provided, making it a perfect place to stay for the whole week. The location was excellent, with all the main shops within walking distance and easy access to key tourist spots in Portsmouth. Monika was very responsive to messages and quickly arranged visitor parking permits for us.

A brilliant stay with some family and friends on the Isle of Wight. Probably one of the best places I have stayed with AirBnB. Beth and Scott were very helpful before booking and their home was beautiful. Comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen and thoughtful items on arrival. Cannot recommend enough and will look to stay here again!

This is a lovely elegant little home right in the centre of Petworth. It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable . Jonathan is a helpful and friendly host .

A lovely little house which was perfect for our stay. Although its on a housing estate, its not overlooked at the back and has a very nice view over the garden at the back and was very peaceful and pleasant. The decor was very nice and we felt at home immediately, the king size bed was extremely comfortable and unusually I slept soundly from the first night. We found a fantastic place to eat just a few minutes drive away at Worlds End and the house itself was ideally placed to visit family in nearby Portsmouth. I would definitely recommend this place

Lovely Place, thank you Dawn for everything and being always responsive for everything, she had also parking permits and a fully equipped kitchen (FROM A-Z), towels and even blow dryers in all rooms very convenient for a family to stay we were a total of 7 and we enjoyed our time . Dawn even had board games which was a very cute touch, thank you so much Dawn!

A cute little house straight onto the beach. Had everything we needed for our two night stay including kids toys, books, plates, cups etc. The boys loved the bunk bed. Carl was a great host and kept us updated with information needed for our stay. Even though it was wet and windy outside, we were cosy inside and already spoken about coming back in the spring/summer. Thanks Carl.

We had a great stay at spindles for New Year’s Eve. The property is well equipped and spotless and exactly as described. It’s is well located with a great beach a short walk away. It truly was home from home but with the added benefit of a great pool table which we used a lot. We didnt use the garden but it was a good size and would be a lovely space during summer. Andrew was responsive on messages and very informative, he also allowed us a late check out New Year’s Day which was an added bonus after the late night. Would highly recommend x

We absolutely loved our stay in Seaview, having visited Seaview many times in the past, this was definitely the best place we have stayed. Across the road from the beach with a sea view from the balcony, we couldn't have asked for more. The house is the best equipped of any Airbnb we have stayed at in the past which helps so much when you're only away from home for a week. The kitchen had all of the equipment we needed and a cupboard full of herbs, spices etc. The house is beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden. Seaview is quiet, its not got any of the hustle and bustle of some other seaside towns, so is perfect for a quiet stay on a lovely beach, great for exploring rock pools and fishing, or a walk to Priory bay! The house has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, it's comfortable, relaxing and well equipped for the kids with enough TV stations and board games to keep them entertained when we got them in from the beach! We loved our stay, thanks Crispin!

Had an amazing stay for my Mums birthday, the spa complex was incredible and definitely made the trip! Comfy beds and the bath and shower was incredible. Thank you so much for letting us stay - the dog enjoyed the beach only 20 mins away as well!!

Nice and clean home location perfect

Way beyond expectations - we felt like we could've had a holiday based here rather than just stopping a couple of nights. Patsy was communicative and helpful, the place is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, and the location couldn't be better. The best stay we've had on the island, no doubt.

We had a fabulous new year's break at Robs place. everything we needed right there. Rob was fabulous - giving us a huge range of local places to visit, from pubs to restaurants, walks and even a local challenge too. the apartment itself, was exceptionally clean. just as described by Rob. we especially like the little attention to details - and the welcome gifts for us and the dogs were very appreciated. Elmer, is a lovely little village. very friendly and everything in walking distance. we took some walks around the woods and obviously along the beach every morning and even with the January cold- we got some fabulous photos and the weather was mostly Kind to us. the walk to and from Littlehampton was a perfect 10km round trip. we visited all the local walkable pubs with the best food being the Black Horse in Climping, however the Cabin and the Elmer were both very friendly and welcoming ... the Oystercatcher- erm..? I'd suggest avoiding. all in all a great stay. thank you

Dan is an excellent Host . He was very keen to ensure we had all information before arrival and responded extremely quickly to a query . The apartment was lovely , comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s in a great location to access all Southsea has to offer .

We had a great weekend stay at Roman's Retreat. The flat is in a private road with a partial sea view. It is well located on the south coast of Hayling Island. We had great weather so were able to walk along the sea front with ease. On our first night we ate out in one of the local pubs, there were two very close by with other dining options. In the morning we nipped out to the convenience store (around the corner) and grabbed a coffee from one of the many coffee shops. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a large living room with two sofas. Everything you need for a couple or family of four. The bathroom and kitchen appear to be newly refurbished and therefore spotlessly clean. It's a first floor flat which benefits from a small balcony which I sat out on taking in the late September afternoon sun. We parked right outside in the private road which felt safe and secure. It's a great place for a visit to Hayling Island. Louise was a great host, very responsive. Thanks!

We have stayed at a great many Airbnb’s over the last few years and this one really stands out and I hope we can return another time. What makes it special is that Fiona really has thought of everything that could possibly make your stay comfortable and a bit luxurious. The simple extra touches make a world of difference to me in an Airbnb. We loved all of Fiona’s design features, the M&S butter croissants etc and the large bottle of Prosecco. We had no problem parking right outside and we were in and out often. The location is stunning with walks and wildlife from the doorstep and so much to do and see with a drive. Unfortunately my partner had a medical emergency. Four paramedics and a stretcher, and a hurried exit left the stairs scratched and the apartment a bit of a mess. I called Fiona to explain and she couldn’t have been nicer telling me not to worry and being concerned for my partner. Don’t hesitate, book if there is availability!

Deborah was the perfect host, and responded within minutes to queries and there was a lovely welcome pack at the apartment when we arrived. It was such a lovely relaxing space and the apartment looked very clean and new. The outdoor space was great for the kids, really safe and contained! And the view was amazing. We loved being able to use the back gate to get onto the cliff path and we were down at the beach in 5 minutes. Lots of lovely cafes between sandown and shanklin and plenty to do along the pier and gardens. We will definitely be back, it was such a quiet convenient location to be able to see the island or just get to the beach easily
