Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in East London

Monica is so friendly and kind, and has fantastic insights about the art and culture of London, I found talking to her invaluable! The location was a short distance from the station, which was perfect. When the trains had scheduled closures, Monica helped us work around this. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, it was just what we needed for our stay.

This was a great place for our first time in London. The location was in a cute neighborhood and buses were within walking distance. James gave VERY detailed and helpful instructions, was very responsive, and very understanding which helped a lot since we had lots of weather related issues getting into London that affected check in times/dates. The space is homey, lived in and comfortable, like we were visiting family and James made us feel welcome from the get go. James provided breakfast and gave us some fun info about the area and London sites. We used both the double room and mousehole and it was more than enough space for our family of 3. I would definitely stay here again. It was also nice to get a place conveniently located for the price! James' place averages 20% less than other options in the city which meant we had more spending money to explore!

Rafik, Evelin and family were gracious hosts and I felt at home right away. The garden is gorgeous and peaceful at the back of the house, away from the main road where the room is. Everything was spotlessly clean. I was attending a wedding so didn't spend that much time in the accommodation but when I was there, it was perfect. Thanks for a great stay.

I had a lovely stay! Harriet was very nice and thoughtful, and we had some lovely chats during my visit. Although I know the area v well, location was excellent, and the adorable Topper added a lot of warmth to the home. The room was comfortable and cosy ensuring a smooth, relaxing stay.

from the moment we arrived it felt like we already knew each other. Leroy gave us directions to restaurants (Needoos) and local attractions pointing out where we should "definitely" go. he gave us some great local information. Chris and Leroy took time to make sure everything was good for us. we would recommend staying here,we would use them again if staying in that area.

Sally and Chris' place is exactly as described and looks exactly like the pictures. The bathroom was spotless and the room was spacious, perfect for a couple travelling with large suitcases. Location was perfect for what we needed. Short flat walk from the train station and close to a variety of supermarkets. Sally and Chris are very hospitable and make you feel welcomed in their home. The included breakfast was lovely and great bonus especially on this platform.

We have a great time staying at Louisa’s gorgeous family home - it’s in a quiet neighborhood perfect for families and walking distance to cute cafes, shops and parks. The house is beautifully styled and very spacious, we had our best nights sleep here and would highly recommend!

It had been my third stay with Geraldine and I have nothing but praise : ) you get your money's worth, the room is comfortable and the area is super peaceful and safe. If you treat the place and the host with respect, you will get it right back! Never had any issue and even during the colder months, there is strong heating (just close the door so the heat doesn't escape) and extra things like a portable heater etc. at your disposal. Location wise it's not completely central, but I think you get the safety of the area in return and from what I experienced, the district line seemed to be one of the more reliable tube lines anyway. Definitely worth every penny!

Kirstine is a great host and the house was cosy and warm, with a nicely decorated room to stay in.

As always, I enjoy my return visits to Colin and Simah. They make guest's feel welcome and I always feel relaxed in their home. The location is great with restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport all within walking distanced. Good bus and tube connections makes moving around London Easy and convenient. The area is quiet at night, easy to get a good nights sleep and you can start your day with a nice breakfasts and good conversation with the host's and /or other guests.

My recent stay at David's place in Kennington was absolutely delightful and exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, David's warmth and kindness made me feel incredibly welcome. The location of David's place is simply perfect, just two blocks away from the underground station, which made exploring London incredibly convenient. Despite being centrally located, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, offering a nice retreat after a day of sightseeing. David himself was a fantastic host. He greeted me every morning with a genuine smile and we had lovely conversations. His hospitality extended beyond expectations; he even helped me with some laundry during my stay, which was greatly appreciated. The accommodation itself was pristine and well-maintained. The room was cozy and comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a busy day. The entire place was tastefully decorated. Overall, my experience at David's place was outstanding. Coco the cat is lovely :)

It was really nice to know Maria. She is talkative, friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from her. She is really cute. I love her pink villa and the exquisite Christmas decorations. I was so happy to live with her. And I wish I could be there again in the near future!

We had a wonderful time at Phyllis’s flat. The flat is perfectly central to every place we wanted to visit. It was easy to find and very convenient with easy access to public transportation. Phyllis is a thoughtful and kind host and provided us lots of great recommendations. We felt safe and cozy in the flat. We would definitely stay again.

Thanks Jane for having my daughter and me over. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the morning and evening talks and my daughter enjoyed petting your cats :) As always, you were very kind to us. We'll probably be booking with you some time next year if your room is available!

Katherine and Juanita have been lovely at all times, they have recommended several places to go to and they have been very kind. The place is very nice and very clean, the dogs, beautiful, and the breakfast is very good. I highly recommend it.

This was our second time at Mary and Martin’s home, and it was just as wonderful a visit. They are two of the loveliest people you will ever have a chance to meet, and their home is as warm and welcoming as they are. Our room was so comfortable and spacious, and there are so many special details from the biscuits and chocolates to the electrical outlets to charge our devices (sometimes a challenge elsewhere when traveling internationally). We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast every morning and great conversation in the pretty kitchen. Then off to enjoy London thanks to easy transport option steps from their door. Can’t wait to plan our next stay!

Couldn't recommend a stay at Ruth's accomodation more!! I stayed for a weekend as I was attending a concert at Ally Pally; which is within a short walking distance. As soon as I entered the house, Ruth was very welcoming and showed me around the kitchen and my room. There was snacks and coffee I could help myself to in the kitchen if needed. The space was nicely layed out for me, with soap, shampoo, towels and everything needed for my stay. The room was just as described, with a large bed, fridge, kettle and bathroom. Many reviews do mention the nearby train track, the noise didn't personally bother me but it may do others. Very lovely stay and Ruth's daughter even offered to make me breakfast! Thank you for my wonderful and welcoming stay Ruth, I will definitely be returning for Alexandra Palace gigs :)

Best Airbnb host I’ve ever had! Manuela is so welcoming, helpful and treats you like her own family. The room was large, full of natural light, and Manuela made it very comfortable for my three month long stay.  I would happily stay here again and recommend anybody to book.

A perfect stay! Parking right in front of the house, a private entrance, cozy and comfortable, a nice selection of snacks and refreshments, and the host was responsive and quickly came out to meet me.

Ana is lovely. She is chatty, friendly, easy-going, helpful and so accommodating. Ana has done an incredible job in decorating her house. The bedroom was spotless, clean, modern, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. The house is not far from Kensal Road Station and all local amenities.

Paul was an amazing host and so is his apartment! He went above and beyond with checking in etc and even let us check out late as we had late night the night before! Breakfast was lovely also. - would recommend Paul wnd his air bnb to anybody! 10/10 location and all round lovely host.

I had a wonderful time at the Vicarage with Angela, Sue and their cat. The room is spacious and comes with its own bathroom across the hallway. There is a nice breakfast included (a true B&B!) and Sue and Angela are all around great hosts. I'd stay with them again :-)

The host was very friendly and gave us easy and detailed descriptions of the place and the city. In addition, there is no shortage of accommodation for 3 people, and there are two urban railway stations and bus stops around the accommodation, so it was good to access. Also, I was so grateful for the breakfast every morning and it was very helpful to start my trip. If you're thinking about a trip to London, I highly recommend this place to stay!
