Stephen and Ali were wonderful hosts, quick to respond to queries, helpful and super friendly. Their lodge is immaculate, definitely a ‘home from home’, it was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The lodge location was amazing, surrounded by fields and very peaceful - I started my mornings sat on the decking with a cuppa listening to the birdsong, perfect! There are several countryside/river walks nearby, and we enjoyed meals at 2 local pubs, all within easy reach. We definitely need to come back to explore the area more and we’ll be staying at The Willows when we do! Highly recommended.

Sue has a beautiful place on offer. Very clean and well thought out. Thoughtful touches like providing fresh bread, selection of cereals, jams etc. The bed was comfortable and helpful instructions in the property. Cute little area outside to sit out in, which I can imagine in the summer it is a really peaceful spot. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to book here. Thank you for having us.

We have just returned home after spending 2 nights at the annex over the Twixmas period. What a fabulous property this is. It was so warm and cosy. We truly appreciated the addition of the Xmas decorations, along with the wonderful welcome hamper provided. We met Sheila on our final day and so pleased to meet in person. Lovely lady and truly a super host. We would highly recommend this property for all your holiday needs. A true home from home in a great location, close to all the amenities in Bedale. Ideal base for a few nights away, lovely location and beautiful little cottage. Had all the amenities you could possibly need, with a few extra touches by Penny which were well received so thank you. Would definitely recommend 🙂
