Vacation rentals with a fireplace in East Devon District

Fairfield House was the perfect house for a Christmas get together for our two families. There was plenty of space for 11 adults. The large dining room table and spacious lounge worked well for dinners and game playing & the generous welcome pack was much appreciated as was the hot tub. A short walk to the shops and pubs in Williton and a 5 minute drive to Watchet. Thanks David & Shruti for a great few days away.

Bridget’s cottage was absolutely tremendous! It felt homely, warm and welcoming! It was private and out of the way without being miles away from what you needed. We stayed with our 18 month old and dog who had a lovely time too. The stair gate on the bedroom was great as it gave our son freedom to wonder about upstairs whilst we got ready. There was also plenty of room for the travel cot too. Bridget was excellent at giving local recommendations and instructions for the cottage. We tried Rye in Frome which served excellent coffee! So thank you for that too. A perfect Christmassy getaway! Felt like the holiday! Thank you so much xx

Absolutely wonderful stay. Lovely house, very well equipped and lots of nice little touches, like great coffee, wood burner ready to light and nice bathroom products. Our dogs were immediately at home, the garden is a great size. Great clear instructions for arrival and departure. The location is beautiful, superb views and incredibly quiet and private. Mo is a superb host. We'll definitely be back.

Lyn's bungalow was beautiful, cosy and pristine. The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked with anything we could need, we felt very looked after. The wood burner was also so much fun, it kept us toasty and cosy during our entire stay. Lyn was always there to answer any questions or requests we had - we definitely recommend this as a place to stay!

Another great stay here! This time, for a longer period of time, additional cleaning and replenishment was offered throughout. A very proactive and helpful host who obviously takes pride in their property and guests. Would highly recommend to others and consider using again in the future.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Even lovelier than the pictures, spotlessly clean throughout, super comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, a lovely hot tub that we didn’t need to wait to heat up, beautiful views, adorable dogs and just so peaceful. Thank you to Mark & family, we look forward to staying again.

My husband and I had a great time here. Walking distance to all local shops and restaurants on the high street. The high street is full of great shops and some incredible places to eat (lots of Michelin star restaurants). The cottage was cosy, clean and luxurious. We could not have asked for a better stay! So relaxing. We also visited the Newt on Saturday for lunch. It is only a 9 min drive from the cottage. Thanks Steve for a lovely stay. We will be back.

Beautiful apartment right next to the Hoe. Parking space very useful. Lovely spot sitting in the bay window with a view of the sea. Huge smart TV. Wi-Fi good. Great washing facilities. Spotless.

This holiday home was very clean and welcoming, Tracey &Richard was very welcoming we got there very early, i phone Tracey too ask ifcan leave our car and she said come inside and drop our thing's off , Richard gave us the keys and we walked down to the beach, Came back later to find Tracy have left us, tea,coffee, milk and biscuits 😋. Very lovely. And a big yes we would love to go back again, Mike & Jo

had and amazing stay at Leila's apartment. had a slight issue with parking when I arrived (nothing to do with the host) however she went above and beyond to sort me another parking space for the duration of my stay! the instructions on how to find the apartment and 'stolen' parking space were absolutely perfect! the apartment itself was beautiful! clean and tidy with everything we needed plus more! the views from the apartment are absolutely stunning! couldn't recommend this place enough. massive thank you for having me!

Perfection. Six weeks in this wonderful apartment with its cosy rooms and beautiful views were not enough. It looks even better in reality than it does in the photos. I was there on my own and felt totally secure at all times of day and night, and the area has so many tasty eateries from 7.30am (Cornish Bakery) till late (Rise). And going to sleep to the pulse of the waves is a delight. All the arrival and appliance instructions are helpfully detailed and accessible. I cannot fault a thing. Do be aware that there is a narrow-ish staircase up to the apartment (no lift in the historic - iconically magnificent! - building) - it's perfectly serviceable (and lit), but it's worth being prepared for the initial lugging upstairs of your belongings! I recommend a pastry from the bakery to reward your labours. Thank you so much, Suzanne and Pete - I would come back tomorrow if I could!

Loved, loved, loved this magical place. Lots of interesting furniture, super comfy bed, our own little courtyard and entrance to the park just through the garden gate. Very friendly welcome. Highly recommend.

Cute, cosy and a lovely flat! Everything as described . It was spotless clean, the kitchen had everything one would need. Our favourite feature was the wood burner, it made the atmosphere so romantic, we didn’t want to leave the place! Heated up the whole flat so much too! Sam was very responsive to our queries, provided a lot of information throughout stay. It’s an easy walk down to the town centre, takes about 10 mins - we’re fast walkers. Coming back is up hill, it was fine for us as it was a short walk by beautiful houses. Overall a great stay. Thank you Sam!

We had a wonderful couple of days in sunny Lyme. The accommodation is located very conveniently for walking into the centre and the beach front. Everything was very clean, comfortable and as described in the listing. Mike was very responsive to any questions and provided excellent communication at all times. I would recommend as a great place to stay in Lyme Regis.

This is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views from the outside terrace. This accommodation had everything we needed and was very convenient for visiting local attractions such as Wells and Cheddar Gorge. Carol was excellent at communicating and very helpful when we needed to change our booking due to personal circumstances. Thank you for a great stay Carol and the delicious complimentary cream tea you left for us. We would definitely come back here again and recommend it to family and friends.

A unique set of suites in a very large gorgeous house. There was so much room for our family ranging from 3 to 73! The communal area was used all the time and the bar area was a wonderful bonus. It really became our ‘home’ for the week and we all felt very relaxed. The suites were first rate having everything you could possibly need and provided the ‘bolt hole’ where people had their own space as well. There are so many beaches close by which we visited- Hele, Combe Martin and Woolacombe- great for paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing- we had a busy time! Neil was such a good host providing very quick responses to my many questions in such a friendly way! Would highly recommend this property for a large group. Thank you Neil.

This house is absolutely beautiful! It truly lives up to everything it promises. The amenities are top-notch, and everything is exactly as described. The location is ideal, situated in a peaceful, quiet area that offers both comfort and convenience. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the environment while still being close to everything you need. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

This Christmas will go down as one of the best our family has ever had, and this beautiful property played a huge part in that. It’s a very special place—the only problem is that you won’t want to leave at the end! We spent 10 days here with family from Plymouth, Sweden, and France, and the house was perfect. Everyone loved it: the older generation was cozy and comfortable, the teenagers had the freedom to explore town, and we all came together in the evenings for meals and games. The owners went above and beyond to make the house warm, inviting, and festive, with lovely Christmas treats that everyone appreciated. The ground floor has a spacious living room with a lovely log fire, a fully equipped kitchen with an island that opens onto the dining room, and a WC with a hand basin. Upstairs, there are four beautiful bedrooms, a spotless bathroom with a shower and bath, and another WC. Parking is easy right outside. Thanks to Joanna and Mike for creating so many treasured memories!

We had the most amazing time away as a family for Christmas. The place was perfect for our youngest member of the family under 1 years old, all the way to our grandparents. Everyone felt at home, with space to relax on their own and together. The walks around the estate were perfect for the mornings and the location was perfect for a short drive to the local towns and beaches. Thank you Emilie and all involved! One of our favourite Christmas' together.

Great house for New Year with a family ranging from 12 weeks to 76 with dogs. Grandparents really appreciated the cottage, which gave them space in very close proximity to the house & younger members of the family.
