The cottage was very cosy and catered for all our needs. The cottage is in a great location for The Lakeland Trial we had come to see and we enjoyed the walks and the scenery. Had a lovely stay - cosy open-plan place. Thank you for giving us milk and tea cake. it was good to just have the key in the door on arrival so we could just get in and be left alone (but know we could call if needed). Lots of books and dvds, and a great table tennis table and pool table in the games room. Stunning area. first time in Lake District and loved it. Would return to this place and recommend.

This property is well maintained and equipped. It’s central location in Cockermouth is a real bonus that allows you to walk everywhere in the town. While we were in town for a funeral I know that Cockermouth is so well placed for the Lake District. However the town has lots of independent businesses which makes it a great place to stay. Richard’s flat would be hard to beat as a place to enjoy the surrounding countryside.

Absolutely incredible stay, the views alone are worth the visit. But the quality, coziness and cleanliness of the Lodge was second to none. Finished with lots of personal touches as well. Thanks so much Mandy, we will definitely be coming back as our new no1 Lake District spot.
