Vacation rentals with a sauna in Downtown San Diego

The place was clean and had great views. Looked just like all the pictures. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Alex’s place was just what we needed. We were able to walk from the border with a baby (25 min) no problem. We stopped along coffee shops and our favorite mariscos restaurant during our walk over. There is lots to do in the area and we walked to the callejones to do some clothes and record store shopping. Another added bones is the Lucha Museo is across the street which we loved. As others mentioned it gets loud from the bar but it didn’t bother us much and we actually thought it just adds to the character of Tijuana. The amenities were amazing as I was able to go to the gym, swim and use the sauna after. It really had everything we needed and we can’t wait to return real soon.

The place was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully stocked, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail was well thought out, making our experience truly comfortable and enjoyable. I genuinely appreciate the effort that went into creating such a welcoming space. I will definitely be recommending this stay to friends and family, and I look forward to returning in the future!

The unit had an up to date kitchen that was very well equipped. The ocean and sunset views were amazing and the location was ideal for beaches, restaurants and shopping. The other rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

Very clean and comfortable place with everything you could need! Heather is an incredible host, always responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend if you need a spot in San Diego, close to the beach and the walkable areas of the city, easy drive to practically everything.

Great stay! The outside of the condo was a bit older than expected, but the inside was pristine.

Absolutely stunning place — even better than the photos! We stayed here from March 29 to April 9, and everything about this condo was perfect. The space was spotless, stylish, and homey — you could tell the host put a lot of care into every detail. From high-end appliances to thoughtful touches like power strips, cleaning supplies, even a stapler — everything we needed was there. We were also greeted with a bottle of wine, which was a classy and much-appreciated gesture. Reza, the host, was incredibly friendly, responsive, and patient. I had a few schedule changes coming from Saudi, and he accommodated us every step of the way, including granting us early check-in. He also gave us a heads-up about scheduled elevator maintenance in the building — proactive communication like that goes a long way. Even after we checked out, he continued to help when I thought I left my sunglasses behind. The building is in Little Italy on the 15th floor, and the views are just unreal. Nothing could’ve

Nick is responsive and helpful with local tips and look around areas. Their bnb studio has got handbooks that are some of the best recommendations to do things around San Diego including Cafe, restaurants , beaches etc. The place is all you need at the heart of San Diego

We drove down to San Diego from Palm Desert and with the car’s nav system we found it easily.Sergio’s entry instructions were perfect.A neighbor told us where to find the shopping cart to assist with the move in and told us how to get to Tourmaline Beach and the Surf Park. The building is great! 2 pools and a great spa. 3 gas grills and dining tables on the courtyard are a nice touch. Sergio’s unit is beautiful and comfortable for a couple. The bed is sooo comfortable. The building is pet friendly and there are quite a few dogs- all well behaved and leashed, but a couple like to bark out their windows but it not excessively. Sergio needs to add a Soundbar to the TV, a floor lamp to improve the ambient lighting and a tall dining table for two on the patio to enable Al fresco dining. We look forward to returning next year!

Great hotel-like resort with good amenities in the heart of the Gaslamp District.

Gorgeous home with fantastic views! Walkable to marina, farmers market and balboa park! Beds are comfortable and home is spotless with beautiful and. thoughtful finishes. Our family had a wonderful time! My sons loved watching the planes come in from the balcony! Highly recommend!

Great location! And the hotel offered so many amenities - we rented (for free) everything we needed for a day on the beach, plus we were able to go to another resort down the way (via a shuttle that ran roughly every half hour) and enjoy their amenities too! We also had a small kitchenette in the room with a hot plate which was perfect for making breakfast and lunch We were able to walk to most resturants within 5 to 10 mins and walking to the other side of the island to catch the ferry was only about 25 minutes. Would highly recommend this place for someone who wants to enjoy the beach, check out some great resturants but also still wanting an easy commute into San Diego (depending on the time of day, ubers to and from the hotel were reasonably priced!)

Lisa and Nick were incredibly friendly and responsive. They addressed any issues promptly, including a minor internet problem upon check-in, which they handled efficiently. The house was warm and cozy, equipped with everything we needed. Parking was not directly at the doorstep but conveniently located about 50 meters away, making it easy to park. The only slight downside was the sound insulation—footsteps and even the placement of cups from the upstairs unit could be heard at times, suggesting that the flooring might be a bit thin. However, there were no particularly loud noises, and it remained within an acceptable range. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place!

My wife and loved staying here. We have never been to SD and we felt right at home. The homes amenities were perfect! It was a peaceful spot with an amazing zen vibe. We walked everywhere and Michael gave great recommendations. He truly made our stay feel special and my wife and I look forward to visiting again! Thanks Michael & Family!

You cannot beat this location and the view! There's a dedicated parking spot in the building and then you can walk to restaurants and anything else you may need. It was great!

Our stay at Matt and Trish’s home was so great! Our kids immediately were occupied with all the toys/books/bunks that were available, we had an easy breezy check in and check out, the house itself was lovely and offered more than enough comfy space for our family of 4 and we were within 15 minutes of everything we wanted to do in San Diego. Matt and Trish were very kind and responsive hosts and it felt they truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. We’d absolutely return the next time we visit the area.

Laura's spot at the Viva Beach Life resort was exactly the peaceful getaway I needed! Stayed 4 days (3/22 to 3/26) and loved every minute—the simple pleasure of waking up to incredible ocean views, coffee cup in hand, NPR & you're literally steps from Mission Beach. Pictures don't do it justice; the place is even better in person & just as described. Laura was amazing—super responsive & made sure everything was perfect. Hands down, this is my new go-to spot for San Diego beach life. Highly recommend VBL if you're looking for a chill, quiet, peaceful vibe with an unbeatable location! Laura, you're the BEST! *Special Note* The garage parking may be tight for some larger cars, trucks, etc. I'm horrible at parking in tight spaces, but I found *free* overnight parking a block away heading west toward Mission Beach, aprx 50 spaces, & additional parking w/ limited parking hours (4am - 10pm). Also, be sure to bring a pad & pen if you would like to leave a note or jot something down. Enjoy!

We stayed at this lovely North Pacific Beach home for 4 nights. It was an ideal place for our family of young adults gathering to celebrate my husband's birthday. The location was wonderful. We appreciated the spacious living areas, hot tub, outdoor fireplace, bikes and beach toys. The communication with the owners, Cristi and Charles was excellent from the beginning to the end. We give this AirBnB our highest recommendation. Thank you!

We had a great stay! Place as described and looks in pictures. Clean, comfy beds, spacious enough for our family of 3. It was close enough to everything we traveled to do. Hosts were great and responsive. We LOVED the sauna! Couple of things to call out: (1) too much communication on arrival before check-in. We received text messages, messages in Airbnb, and phone calls. We responded that we understood details via text. Cutting down on the amount of comms and picking 1-2 methods would be great. It was a lot to manage when we landed already, (2) Great area with lots of food options! We were very shocked to find all of the food and groceries to be affordable! You won’t be disappointed with so many options near by. (3) Mostly everything (Legoland, La Jolla, Carlsbad) is a short 20-30 minute drive away! Thanks for hosting our family!

The host care a lot about this property and you can tell in every way. It’s decorated perfectly you feel like you are in a magazine. The beds are super comfy and the couch is so nice to cuddle in. This house didn’t work well for my husband that was in a boot from an Achilles injury. We disturbed the tenant that shares the space. It was hard for us with our group ( 4 teenagers) to keep to the quiet hours at 9 pm (early to tell teens no talking and walking around.) Which is a bummer, because the house is really welcoming and well stocked ( again owners that care and you can tell) . This house is in a killer location. A really great mall is 15 minutes away, grocery delivery is super fast and it a short drive to the beach. I think you should consider their rules closely , we didn’t and it didn’t work out great for our stay. The host do really special things that make them stand out…your check in and navigating the house a breeze. They make a video to explain the house.
