Monthly Rentals in Dover Beach

I spent 12 nights at Nicole’s apartment. Nicole was a great host. She let me check in early & check out late. She was proactive & offered this without me having to ask, which was really kind. The apartment had everything I needed & more. I didn’t use the oven but it’s there if you need it. The location is great for walking to the beach & St Lawrence Gap area. Oistins is just down the road & the bus stop for buses to Bridgetown & Speightstown is 2 minutes walk. There are also ZR vans to the airport & other places which run frequently along the nearby road. After a busy day’s sightseeing it was great to be able to relax watching shows on Netflix. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe at the apartment. I brought insect spray but I didn’t need it. The windows have mesh to keep out insects. But also in the area around the apartment insects weren’t particularly an issue. The WiFi worked well & the surroundings felt peaceful despite being close to the road. Overall - a great stay!

I had a great stay at Catherine's. she's very sweet and checked in regularly to make sure I was having a good experience and to provide on-point recommendations. location is very convenient. place looks just as in the photos and is very comfy. recommended.

What I found is that if this place is vacant, book it. Zeema and Paul are thoughtful hosts. This airbnb is in the heart of places - Sand Dollar Cafe, A and D's, and Daddy's (lol). There are other restaurants everywhere around you to explore as well. You'll have a fantastic time right near 'home.' If you want a change of scenery about a 20-30minute walk away, there are some cool surf shops / bars with great music at the beach. You'll get the quality music anywhere, I'm sure... :) If you want to tour the country, Tony / Rasta Man is a taxi driver who can be found at the beach right near Sun n' Sea. A good read of character, he interprets what you want on your tour and delivers just that. When people come up to you, consider talking to them because you may be pleased with who you get to know. And who they know. The beautiful people I met repeatedly suggested relaxation over stress; to let tension go. Although doing that is up for interpretation, I think I managed to relax the way I need

I travel a lot so I did some research looking into the best accommodation for my week in Barbados. I was traveling alone and wanted opportunities to hang out in beach bars and walk to restaurants, markets and the bus. The location of this property was perfect. Easy access to the beach and all the rest of it, but situated on a quiet side street where you hear frogs, crickets and the rain. The apartment is comfortable, it has everything you need. The shower pressure and powerful AC in bedroom add to the comfort. The host is exceptional. Terry met me to check in and give me the keys when I arrived. He walked with me in the neighborhood to show me the market and bus stop, etc. Everyone was very responsive during the booking process. I would definitely stay in this place again. Terry loves Barbados and is enthusiastic about sharing his island with visitors. He will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay!
