You'll get more than you see. Very quiet and in beautiful area. The host is humble and tidy. Excellent. At least 6 stars.

What can we say.. We spent a glorious, relaxed week here at the end of August, a truly special place a beautifully renovated original stone house with high ceilings and original features. Paul was a generous, friendly and knowledgeable host, and the views are spectacular. Apartment 3 was a good size for our family of 5 (kids 17, 14, 11) comfy beds, en suites for each bedroom and a stunning balcony. The pool was an extra treat, beautiful, and again with panoramic views across the valley. Oh, and the WiFi was speedy too. Brace yourself for the drive, it gets easier and it’s 100% worth it! Would happily and heartily recommend ❤️

My wife, our daughter and I had a great time in this apartment. We had enough space, a great kitchen and everything we needed to feel comfortable in Porto. It was only a 15 minute walk to the city. The accommodation was also absolutely suitable for relaxing days. The communication and handling with Vasco went wonderfully. He greeted and said goodbye to us more than polite and courteous. We had the feeling of being well cared for and welcome at all times. Definitely recommended 👍🏼 Thank you for the wonderful time we would be happy to come back.

Staff was quick to respond to troubleshooting small items in the apartment that were not working. The flat and pleasant district has a wonderful Cristal Palace garden a few blocks from the apartment. Thanks to the team for receiving us!

We recently enjoyed a delightful week-long stay with our family at this enchanting house in the heart of Vila da Conde. The property's romantic outdoor architecture immediately sets it apart from the surrounding homes, creating a truly charming atmosphere. As a group of adults with children, we found the house to be perfectly suited to our needs. Located next to a small city park with a playground and cafés, the house offers easy access to local amenities. Historical sites and museums are within a short walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The spacious interior, including three bathrooms, was a major plus, and the outdoor pool, seating area, and grill provided ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. The villa was clean, cozy, and filled with natural light. There are several great restaurants nearby to explore. While we couldn't swim in the chilly pool, we enjoyed staying warm by the fire stove.

We were delighted to stay in this modern and extremely welcoming home, ideal for family moments and with our dog. The kitchen, with a modern and functional design, made everything more practical and enjoyable. The panoramic view of the Douro River was simply stunning, making every moment special. The host deserves attention and readiness: realizing that the house did not have a magic wand to make soup, he immediately went to buy one, demonstrating exceptional care. Marisa is a wonderful host. We felt very welcome and at home thanks to the nice welcome, the wonderful delicacies and homemade jam. The house is great located. Right on the Douro, in the middle of an eukalytus forest with private access to the river and only 20 minutes from Porto. A real oasis with lots of loving, architectural details and a beautiful garden.

We adored the house, very welcoming and with excellent sights. A very quiet environment, perfect to relax and rest. I recommend the option of breakfast. It is well worth the quality and variety.

Everything is designed so that we can enjoy a vacation in a home as if it were our own. The fireplace that welcomed us, the miminhos that claimed us so much, Marta's constant concern for wanting to know if we found each other well and the location of the house made our stay perfect.

What a gem of a place! Lovely log burner & logs. So beautifully renovated but still traditional. Comfortable & had everything we needed. Monica was extremely helpful & friendly & spoke excellent English. Couldn’t fault it.

All great except for a neighbor who put music early in the morning quite loud, but nothing related to you.

The apartment is very nice, nicer than the pictures, and very well cared for. It has all kinds of amenities, and the development in which it has many services, although we do not use them. It is next to a beautiful beach, which can be seen from the house Antonio was a very punctual host, we arrived at the house and within a few minutes he arrived to give us the keys and explain the operation. It's a totally recommended place.

What we were looking for was a quiet, cozy place, so you could enjoy a familiar moment with all the purity of nature and convenience. From the landscape, the structure, to the comfort both outside and inside the property. It is important to highlight the fact that we were able to get the ideal temperature inside the house, which made us even more comfortable! the ground floor apartment is impeccable! clean! the view is the beautiful pool, only small problem the sofa is too small , and no night light at the pool + jacuzzi, but otherwise it was a quiet and pleasant stay! the host is very friendly! thank you so much we will be back no problem!
