David’s place didn’t disappoint as a guy from a small town I was concerned with the area crimes however there was no problems it was very peaceful and relaxing the tub and lighting in the bathroom was fantastic first time in years I soked in a tub. Lots of good places to eat close by just a overall solid place.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well maintained. We have younger children and having multiple bedrooms on the same floor was very helpful for us. We will definitely stay again when we come to the area.

Sean and Allison were incredibly kind & gracious hosts. They were always available to communicate and prompt & courteous. We couldn’t have asked for a better situation for our family visit. The space was perfectly comfortable and spacious for our needs. But Sean and Allison’s hospitality is what made this an amazing stay.

Stop searching and book this place immediately!!!! We have zero complaints about our stay at the hearthstone. Beautifully curated home, super clean, comfortable beds, quiet and safe neighborhood, fresh cut flowers on the dining room table (!), and the toilet in the 1/2 bath with a heated seat, bidet, and air dryer (all with adjustable settings) may have actually changed my life. Carson was kind and easy to get in contact with. Everything was as described in the listing. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We primarily stayed in the house for just the nights. It was quiet. We appreciated that at this time in our life. Everything seemed nice, clean and comfortable. We booked at the last minute and extended our stay. Diana was kind and flexible. Appreciated that the most, her attitude toward me throughout the whole stay.

Home is exactly as shown in the pictures. Heidi was very responsive, assisted with recommendations, and expectations were clear. We really enjoyed the basement / game area. The only thing we didn’t love was no curtains / privacy off the front with the big open windows. With lights on, I am sure you could see our every move. Also would have loved to see a couple chairs on the front deck to sit on. Maybe that’s seasonal and they come out at some point. Overall, we had a relaxing peaceful weekend and that’s exactly what we wanted. Thank you!

Staying a week at Ildefonso's house has been a great experience, since we arrived everything was perfect. He and his partner took care of all the details so that we felt as comfortable as possible , the house was very equipped and clean, in addition we had the surprise that we had left many things for breakfast and an aperitif. Of all the experiences we've had in Airbnb, this was definitely the best. When we return to Detroit we will stay at their home and the families we know and have their children studying at Lawrence Tech, we will also recommend Ildefonso's house because we don't think there is any better.

Let me just say this place is the spot to check out, My fiance and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary and I'm glad we chose this place. From the BEAUTIFUL shower to the cozy backyard it was so worth it and we will definitely be booking with Greg again. He was very quick to reply when we had questions and very descriptive with the check in instructions, we had a wonderful time and will surely be back!!

I stayed here for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend just to relax and spend time together and this was the perfect place! The home was extremely comfortable and clean and had everything you could possibly need like a true home away from home. We came from Livonia, MI and were unfamiliar with Ferndale, and were so pleased with how extremely safe the community was and how walkable it was even after a snowstorm. Craig was also such a great host, he made everything so easy and always responded in a timely manner. LOVE this place!!! Would absolutely stay again!!

This place was great! 5 of us were in town to visit our father, we invited him to stay with us because there was plenty of room for all of us. Safety gates were an added plus for our 19 month old who wants to climb and explore EVERYTHING! We were just in time to sit in the backyard and enjoy the patio set and fire pit. This place is underpriced & we will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

Really great stay. Came to Detroit for a night with my parents (both in their 80s), the house is super comfortable with lots of personality. We were able to find parking right out front, and the neighborhood has a selection of walkable cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. Being an older house, you can hear footsteps from the neighbors during the day, but nothing that prevented us from sleeping comfortably at night. Overall great value for the money, would gladly stay again.

This Airbnb includes a spacious bedroom and a large dedicated bathroom. It is a very nice place in a beautiful home. The shared spaces were just as described and we made use of several of them. They neighborhood is quite attractive and felt very safe. There is a small shopping center that is within walking distance. Zoha/Samina were gracious hosts. They made sure we had what we needed and made it clear that they wanted us to have a very pleasant stay. It was a great location for us, just a few miles from our relatives who were maxed out with out-of-town guests for the wedding that we were attending.
