A perfect, peaceful weekend getaway! Close enough to local attractions but also super private location. Great amenities and views, too!

I had visited this cabin previously during the summer and loved it, but my winter stay in December was truly something special. The property transforms into a serene and picturesque escape perfect for unwinding. I’d often walk outside on the deck with my coffee and just take in the scenery.

This cabin was such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a long weekend. The home was very clean and provided all the basics we needed to have a stress-free stay. The property was secluded, but not too secluded so that we could visit the neighboring towns easily and find lots of things to do outdoors as well! This place provides a great base camp for any adventuring you would want to do in the area!

These hosts were AMAZING! Very communicative, helpful, and just very supportive! They provided welcome gift since we were celebrating some birthdays, lots of local recommendations and always responded quickly when we had a question. Absolutely loved that we didn't have to strip beds or do towel laundry. Would love to stay here again when visiting Davis and Thomas!

This location has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Also, a very cozy and peaceful getaway especially during the winter.

We had a wonderful, relaxing get away at this cabin! So quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was clean and there is wood for the fireplace. We will definitely be coming back!

What a perfect mountain getaway! Quiet, peaceful, and a good place to relax! After days of hiking in the Dolly Sods, we enjoyed the hammock and fire pit after! Definitely worth visiting again!

We had a great stay at Adrienne’s! She was proactive in communication, friendly, and was quick to answer any questions about the house and area. Each bedroom and bathroom were clean and inviting. The living room was big but also cozy. There were cozy blankets and a great couch for relaxing and chatting. The kitchen had everything we needed. It even had a popcorn maker which was so fun to enjoy! Oh, and the dining area was perfect for group. We’d stay here every visit if we could!

Situated in a private peaceful location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal to include coffee/tea, coffee filters, storage bags, foil, oil and S&P and other spices. Large BR downstairs with a comfortable King size bed and large screen TV. One king size bed and two twin beds located in loft area with dark steep narrow stairs leading up to them. Floor is very old and squeaky up there as well. Large bathroom but no area to keep your toiletries (a small table or shelf area would be a nice addition). I really didn't care for the heated toilet seat as it leaves you with a wet butt. Cabin is very old and a bit dark and dreary but relatively clean except for a few cobwebs hanging from lighting. Outside area a bit overgrown with no clear path to reach water for fishing although there is a beautiful view of Shaver's Fork from the deck, outdoor seating/eating area, a nice big hot tub and fire pit area. Quick response from owner to questions.

This cabin was a great choice for accommodating a large group of people. The cabin is huge and there was space for 16 people where we didn’t feel we were on top of each other. We also had plenty of parking. The cabin is older and with older cabins comes lack of insulation so you can hear everything through the walls, floors, and ceilings. Beware of nails and hooks in the walls that may catch you off guard. The cabin was very well stocked in every single room and in every way possible. If you aren’t use to the mountains, the driveway can be a little concerning but just go slow and you’ll be fine. The larger dining room table was nice to sit down together and enjoy meals. The huge table outside was also a nice addition where we could all sit and enjoy the evening. The view is gorgeous and it was extremely peaceful. The host was very friendly and very responsive to any questions. Thank you to the host for sharing this property! My group would definitely book this property again!

Great place to stay! Very private and perfect if you're looking for some isolation from society. About 20 mins from there you have some restaurants and stores if you need to shop some grocery. Dana is a great communicator and is available pretty quickly. It is ESSENTIAL that you read carefully all the instructions to get to the house in advance, and to get your keys. Don't leave it to last minute communication because there's no cell service in the area, and you'll be able to use your phone only once you're successfully inside the house and can use the wifi.

This was a great cabin, clear communication and directions, very clean, and we really appreciated that Rachelle was accommodating for an early check in. Would recommend!

I had read many raving reviews from winter stays and I was apprehensive about how it might be in the summer. It out did itself. It was so peaceful. We went on so many local hikes, visited water falls, swam in water holes. And went to national parks. There were festivities in the town. Walking distance for icecream and games for the kids. We will definitely visit there again. The accommodation had all the amenities you would want and Kimberly was very responsive to our requests.

The cabin was beautiful and the land/community was surrounded by forests and a lovely pond. Alison was a great host, followed up to ensure everything was good. Great stay!

I just have to say that showing up to Merry Jo and Aaron’s house was breathtaking. Merry Jo went earlier before we arrived knowing we were going to be getting there after dark and turned lights on, had music playing from the tv, and had everything in place so we could just unpack and unwind. The house was exceptionally clean and has all the basics plus some! This house has an absolutely amazing view to watch the sunset over the beautiful mountains. The house is up a private drive that allows one to escape with nature. They are located approximately 1-hour from Dolly Sods and roughly 20-minutes from Seneca. Merry Jo continued to contact us ensuring everything was great! We greatly appreciate the hospitality and will definitely be booking another trip in the near future! Pansy and Ronny we'regreat hosts. I arrived later than originally planned but they were kind to accommodate the change in timing and still bring me from the base to the cabin since my car might not have made it on its own. The cabin has everything you would need. If anything, I think the listing actually under sells what it offers. Pansy had it stocked with tissues, hand sanitizer, basic seasonings, cooking equipment and utensils, and even had a pack of muffins waiting for me. Even though I was there during 20° weather and a snowstorm, the heater kept me sufficiently warm. It was a great, relaxing two-night stay and I would love to return if I am in the area in the future.

Well stocked with almost everything you need! Hot water is a bit limited but not too bad. Overall, very clean, cozy & was great experience for us. Will definitely book again!
