We absolutely loved our stay! Not only is the cottage in a stunning location with wonderful views it’s also beautiful inside with comfortable beds, cosy lounge and fire with a great kitchen with everything you need. We will definitely return

Russ was really informative and great host! Came into the home and Ross had clearly got it ready with fairy lights, heat and essentials in the kitchen ( milk and a bottle of wine) - the house was slightly tired but definitely cosy and we all felt at home straight away with access to all the TV channels ( netflix, disney etc) Also a great selection of games! Only about a 10 minute drive from Stratford upon Avon! Great kitchen for the dogs to stay too

We had a lovely stay. The house was very clean, cosy and comfortable for a group and was well equipped, including the kitchen. It was easy to reach the house by car or by public transport from Swindon. Cirencester was a quick drive away for shops and food options, and we enjoyed walking nearby. Thank you!

From the moment of booking we were given clear information and very quick response to any questions. The house and location were fantastic We booked for a family get together with our children and grandchildren, house has a great layout with bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Probably the best equipped rental house we have stayed in The kitchen had everything you could think of to cook a full Xmas lunch along with lots of games and toys for the young children. The 4 year old and 3 year old loved the kayak, with an adult of course, and there were plenty of full life jackets to ensure they were safe. Great place highly recommended

Serendipity was wonderful. I think probably our best airbnb yet. Scott was extremely helpful from booking through to leaving the property with recommendations and advice - the welcome app/manual is invaluable. Off of this we used the Pizzeria720 on our arrival evening (as suggested!) and we had wonderful lunches at Potting Shed and The Crown! The house itself was easy to find, clean, well stocked with everything you would need from luxury amenities, plenty of towels, and lots of wonderful added touches of welcome gifts, and the bits that are always helpful if and when you need them - washing up liquid, sponge, shower gel, kitchen roll - all these types of things make for such a comfortable stay. The surroundings are so peaceful and quiet, beautiful views over the water and a nice secure balcony. Overall we had a wonderful stay for NYE and are already thinking we'll be back to experience it in the summer!! Thanks for having us Scott and thanks for all your help and advice - brilliant!!

Excellent place to stay. Cottage was perfect with everything needed for our short stay. Lots to do it the area plus we really enjoyed our frosty morning walks around the grounds.

Our group really enjoyed our stay at Darrell's! The home was modern and comfortable and allowed for enjoyment of the outdoors even from within the house - really can't beat the views! The space was just as described and group was very comfortable. Darrell provided a very thorough guide for our stay which included check-in instructions, how to use all appliances, recommendations for local walks and restaurants, numbers for taxi companies, and more - super helpful! The only issue any of us had was that the mattresses were a bit dated, something to note for anyone with back issues. Overall we would highly recommend staying at Darrell's when in the Cotswolds! We will definitely be making our way back in the summer months.

A beautiful house in stunning surroundings, the perfect place to spend our family Christmas!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. The position by the canal and close to a great pub was fantastic. The cottage itself was well equipped and had lovely touches like the honesty bar and yoga mats. The cottage was cosy and had a lovely sized garden and decking, which was perfect for our dog. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay

We had a smashing stay at Angela’s. Great and swift communications. As fir the house itself, Imagine that you are house sitting a farmhouse. Everything you need is there and works. Look at the photos it perfectly captures the quirk and character of that old house. We enjoyed it and would return. Just what we wanted. Hay is ten minutes drive, the river is a small walk away and the great black mountains basically up hill from right there. The roads are so quiet, the garden beautiful and the night is properly dark. Just what we wanted.

Rick was brilliant with helping us plan the trip, very responsive and helpful. the cottage was lovely and cosy, thoughfully decorated for Christmas, just what we hoped for. Rick gave us loads of helpful information and came and set up the speaker we couls play music. the only drawback is that Ruardean doesnt have shops or a pub, and you need to drive to get to the nice walks, its only 10 or 20 minutes to loads of beautiful forest walks, so not a massive deal, but you definitely need a car and driver. but overall a lovely cosy cottage Christmas, welcoming Church service, and refreshing forest walks. thank you Rick!

We had a fantastic stay—it was exactly what we needed! The evenings were so peaceful, and we loved relaxing in front of the lovely wood fire. The property is within walking distance of a charming local pub where we enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks. We brought our two dogs along, and there were plenty of beautiful walks nearby. Laura was a wonderful host, providing clear instructions and going the extra mile to accommodate us. Traveling with our 14-month-old son was made so much easier with the cot and high chair provided. We’ll definitely be returning!

We spent a lovely long weekend here. The space is a great, comfortable size for 4 adults and a baby and would have comfortably fit another 2 children or an adult. The property was lovely and clean. Parking was convenient and there was also the option for electric charging, although we didn't use this. My only negative comment is the double mattresses are quite squeaky, although I probably wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't getting up in the night with the baby. Despite this they are comfortably firm. The location is peaceful and quiet, in beautiful surroundings, and right next to the canal for a lovely flat walk (suitable for a pram). We were attending a wedding at Peterstone Court and it was a very convenient 5/10 minite drive or 50 minute walk. Rachel was very quick at responding to queries. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The property was beautiful and set in some amazing countryside. Colin was always friendly and responsive, we had a lovely couple of nights here. If you stay make sure you take a walk down to the local Moon Inn which does wonderful food.

Spent two nights at the cottage, the experience was surreal. It place allows you to disconnect from daily life and take a moment. There are lots of treks and walks around the cottage. Drive up to the cottage is an adventure but definitely worth the effort once you get there. Cottage doesn’t have wi fi but you get decent mobile connectivity so that wasn’t an issue at all. If you love looking out to fantastic views and enjoy exploring the hill on your feet you have got to try this one. 15 minutes drive from Bala town where you get all amenities.

We had a wonderful stay in The Hovel. We went for a relaxing, peaceful break and this is exactly what we got! Toby and Stephanie were excellent, attentive hosts and the cottage was cosy and comfortable. The gardens were beautiful and the castle, trampoline and zip wire were excellent for our children. it was also great to have access to the lake and rowing boats that we took advantage of too! The area is so peaceful and beautiful. We loved Autumn walks in the local hills, visiting Bala and enjoying the gardens in the grounds. We will undoubtedly return as everything about our break was fantastic.

What a great place to stay! Everything was perfect, owner thought of everything! All staff we met were friendly. We loved it and defo recommend!

myself and my partner had a wonderful two night stay! the location was incredible, so peaceful and quiet - just what we needed for a few days of relaxation! overall 10/10 stay, the only thing that we might have suggested is some simple body wash/shower necessities. would 100% come back and will refer to friends!

We stayed at Riverside Cabins as a surprise for my husband's birthday. From the time of booking, with help to have balloons in the cabin prior to our arrival, to organising the hot tub to warm up quicker as we were only staying for 1 night, everyone was so friendly, accommodating & extremely helpful! I couldn't recommend this place enough! The location is no more than perfect! It was a freezing cold night (-2 i think) which gave us the beautifully clear skies on which to view the stars from the hot tub. I couldn't think of a better place to have been on such a perfect night! Luckily we live local so will definitely be staying again and I have already recommended Riverside Cabins to my family and friends. The cabin was clean, warm and cosy, well equiped & beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. Loved it! I would say more but I'm running out of the allocated number of characters! Quick you need to book before you miss out on experiencing such a perfect location! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an excellent place. Anthony has gone to exceptional lengths to make this the kind of place that he himself would have wanted to holiday in. The grounds are vast, the chalets are well spaced out, there is a sense of real peace and tranquility - the sound of running water from the nearby river, birds chirping, nearby woodland, stand up paddle boards and sit on canoes available to borrow free of charge to meander down the river with. The accommodation itself is very well thought out and very good quality. Even in the compact chalet which we were in there was a large walk in shower and plenty of covered space outside in which we could have our meals and relax. Hot tub is well maintained and was already warmed for our arrival. We came here to have a base from which to take part in the Ultimate Triathlon at Ellesmere. We'll certainly come back and stay here again next time.

Fantastic new years eve stay. The place was spotless and had everything you needed. Even had games for the kids and us adults after the went to bed! Hot tub was brilliant. Very modern and warm. Would definitely come again and recommend to a friend. Thank you

Highly recommend Sian and her place! We booked last minute and she was so responsive and helpful. Place was ready by 12pm and was spotless. Great quiet spot and great place to get away from everywhere. Was lovely to be surrounded by the animals and Sian left lovely helpful notes. worth every penny :)

This was the nicest caravan by far that we have stayed in at 7 Lakes. It was beautifully decorated for the festive season and Kate had gone to a lot of trouble to make it super cosy and welcoming for us. My husband and I would love to come back again anytime. Just want to say a huge 'THANKYOU' to Kate for her efforts and for being such a super host.

My first time using an air BNB and it did not disappoint whatsoever. The cabin and it's surroundings are absolutely stunning and so incredibly peaceful and private. We can recommend meditating by the lake or in the hot tub by the lake, the sounds of the wildlife make it incredibly easy and tranquil. Our hosts were brilliant and very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the local area. We highly recommend a stay in one of their two cabins for a simple break or if you need to replenish and regain some peace and serenity in a busy world. Thank you for a wonderful experience🙏
