Cozy house that has modern new kitchen and baths and lots of living space. Comfortable beds and great views. Rivers and marsh as far as you can see. Walk down dock and get into your boat. Beautiful covered dock house fully equip with fresh water, lights, electricity and fish cleaning station. New floating dock with water at low tide. House has covered porch with rockers and table for eating or just sitting. Modern public boat ramp 2 miles away and 15 minutes by water. Very private and quiet.

Redfern Retreat

Nestled under ancient live oaks, this vacation spot is a hipster heaven of art and maker furniture with plenty of space inside and out for entertaining. For entertainment, there are tvs in three rooms all with YouTube tv. Amazon Echo for music and news, and a Roku and Amazon Firestick for Internet tv. Just fyi, there's a separate bungalow in back that is also listed on Airbnb as “Redfern Respite” that you can book but has a separate entrance and private deck. This is not a shared space.

I purchased & renovated in 2020 with a new kitchen, new appliances & fresh paint throughout! My cheerfully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom tabby cottage is enveloped in a canopy of live oaks & spanish moss. The neighborhood is child friendly & safe. The back porch is cozy with romantic lights!

ONE BLOCK FROM BEACH, 150 YARDS TO 4 RESTAURANTS!!

This beach house is a gem!! 1 block from the beach allows for an easy walk to the ocean. Access to the beach is SUPER easy for carrying coolers, chairs, tents, etc. The house has an outdoor shower for after beach activities. 150 yards from 4 restaurants. Private putting green! 1 mile to the village. This house is perfectly situated in the middle of everything!! Private 6 seater golf cart available to rent upon request.

Really loved our stay. The house was clean, well stocked and close to area shops and dining. The owners, Alyce and Michael were available to answer any questions we might have, before and during our stay. Their checkin and checkout directions were clear and easy to follow. During our visit, we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the private fenced back yard and walking our dog in the friendly neighborhood. We spent time at the beach, fishing pier and Putt Putt golf, which was just a short drive away. My 3 year loved playing on the playground which is located next to the fishing pier. When we weren’t busy exploring the Island, we appreciated the comfortable seating and tv programming this house offered. The only thing I could say that might be a drawback for some is that the house is close to the airport. Planes flew fairly low overhead and the sound might disturb sound sensitive people. We were not bothered because the house itself is amazingly soundproof.

We really enjoyed the location. The house is tucked back in a cute neighborhood and is an easy walk to local restaurants and shops. The house had a lot of unexpected amenities, and was very family friendly. The bedrooms were much larger than they appeared in photos, and we were easily able to fit two pack and plays into the room with bunkbeds. I really appreciated that the house came with lots of extra linens, trash, bags, and dishwashing detergent.

Caleb’s place was perfect for my little girls weekend. We spent lots of time in the pool and the gorgeous and spacious hot tub. The shellmans bluff community was right around the corner if we needed to get out or get anything. Peaceful, quiet, clean, and beautiful. Will definitely stay again!

The location is so small town and charming! We didn’t have to go far to find an eclectic shop or unique dining spot. The home is so lovely and comfortable. While it’s obviously an older home, there is a modern kitchen and all of the amenities of home (touchscreen AC control, gas stove, comfortable furniture, etc.). We were easily able to make and have dinner for 8 people and 3 dogs each night of our stay. There was plenty of space and it was well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen appliances, dishes - really anything we needed. Our beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were clean and mirrored the charm of the plantation style architecture. We enjoyed the courtyard and sitting on the porch swing. We really were able to walk where we needed to go each day. The neighborhood is quiet and has multiple town squares to explore. The host is very responsive, professional and friendly in their correspondence. Definitely recommend this place!

Our family had an amazing stay at Jennifer's home! There were 8 of us plus two small dogs, and we never felt crowded at all. The living room felt so open and roomy and had an expansive marsh view. The decor was very tasteful and not overcrowded, which I really appreciated. It felt like someone's actual home and not just a vacation rental staged to remind you that you're at the beach. The teens/ young adults enjoyed having their own space downstairs with a kitchenette to keep snacks and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces - firepit on the marsh side and hammock tucked away in another part of the yard . The walk to the beach was very easy - a quick walk down to the end of the quiet street and then a trail through a wooded area down to East Beach which was gorgeous and uncrowded. This was maybe a 5 minute walk. We all really enjoyed the trail! My kids thought it seemed like a secret path through the forest. Overall, I would highly recommend Jennifer's home on SSI!

We had the most amazing stay! This place was exactly what we were looking for, and everything matched the description perfectly. The location was fantastic—right near DeMere and Frederica Road, with many great restaurants just steps away or a short drive away. Nights were incredibly peaceful, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts! This week was all about relaxation, and it exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back! Absolutely loved Fuller Breeze! We loved that it very spacious and able to accommodate our large family and did not feel crowded one bit. Moreover, we loved the history of the house and its proximity to the ocean. We will definitely make an effort to stay here again in the future.

This place exceeded our expectations. It was clean. The property was perfectly situated and sized. The amenities were amazing. It allowed our family to have an actual vacation. We relaxed and had fun. Most everything was provided, from fishing equipment to firewood. We enjoyed the pool, the piers, the bikes... In short, we will be returning.
