Monthly Rentals in Cuffesgrange

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at the Alder Cabin, which just shows how much we love it. The large window to the trees is my favourite part. We've been there both times in the autumn, and it's lovely to have a view to the falling leaves. Even though you get the feeling of being in a very remote place, it's actually not too far from Kilkenny city center. We walked to the city every day, which takes a bit but is a lovely walk. The cabin itself strikes a great balance between cozy and functional: you don't have too much clutter, but you still have everything you need there. Finally, Donna is an amazing host! She is always available if you have any questions, and leaves you with a really thoughtful set of breakfast items. When we stayed here for a week, she also left us a new batch of fire wood halfway through our stay in case we ran out. All this while being extremely respectful of our privacy! We also noticed they renovated the bathroom recently, and it's perfect!

An absolute gem of a find. Cosy 4 bedroom house in the middle of a quiet village, set back from the road and only 4 km from Mount Juliette where we were at a 2 day wedding. The house is really great for a family or a group with a big kitchen and lovely lounge with games, books, and a solid fuel fire if you wish. It's a super chill spot very close to lads of interesting places. Helem is very obliging, including having the heating on for us when we came back late and a storm raged. Best of all - she had homemade warm scones on the table with homemade jam and butter which was so kind and unusual in a rental these days. The kitchen also has condiments, tea coffee and lots of extras. 100 % fabulous and a fraction of the cost of the hotels for a family !!

Margaret was very responsive and check-in via lockbox went smoothly. The house is in a great location, with a private parking, and just a short drive to Kilkenny centre. The house is private and overall great, warm, equipped with everything a family could need during their stay. Super clean, and everything well organized. We especially liked the linen and high quality towels! The host is also very thoughtful and refreshments are left in the fridge, along with coffee pods. Thank you for having our family in your place. We would love to visit again and we are highly recommending this home to your next visitors.

The cottage was as described if not even better than imagined. Private,welcoming and comfortable. It’s modern while retaining a homely feel, so great effort has been put in to it. We visited in winter and it was lovely and warm. The kitchen is excellent, one of the best we have used, so ideal if you wish to cater for yourself. The woods are ideal for a walk (which is a 3.7km loop, so you won’t get lost!). Esther was an ideal host who was helpful and responsive. Overall a great location for exploring Co Kilkenny and the south east in general.
