Carrie's home was absolutely wonderful. We stayed here enroute to visit family with two small babies and our dog and it was just perfect. So clean, warm and inviting. Cosy and comfortable beds. Everything we needed. Lovely quiet area, my husband loved the chipper next door! We felt very safe and comfortable. Looking forward to our stay on the way home again. Thanks so much Carrie.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Vanilla’s place. The apartment is nicely furnished, well decorated and very relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the Jacuzzi bath and the relaxing music in the bathroom. The apartment is very warm which is perfect for the cold Scottish winters. Vanilla was very helpful, especially when the dogs in the apartment upstairs sounded distressed. She was able to get in touch with the neighbours who came back promptly to settle them. The kitchen had everything you would need, as well as tea and coffee, a good washing machine and dishwasher. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we slept very well. The large dining table was great for family groups. The apartment is also near a very nice bakery. There are lots of castles to visit in the surrounding area, and it’s close to the coast in Ayr and Girvan. For families there is a great play village just outside Ayr (Little Play Planet). Thank you Vanilla. We had a great stay and would love to return.

We had a great stay at this gorgeous cottage in a beautiful setting. Bea is a fantastic host and was on hand for anything we needed. The local pub, The Kirkmichael Arms, is excellent and well worth a visit - the bar is friendly and welcoming while the restaurant serves a tremendous range of food of very high quality. The community run church-cafe is also very warm and welcoming and sells a wide range of goods. We will be returning to the area often.

The lodge is perfect, it has everything you need. Paul and Aileen were really helpful and great hosts. The area is beautiful and we had a wonderful time exploring.
