Places to stay in Cross City

Everything was as expected. Beautiful home, great neighborhood, clear communication. We would stay here again.

Great place

Elizabeth’s place is quiet and peaceful. The giant oak in the backyard and the great outdoor table and chairs make for lovely morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The house is spacious yet cozy. Beds and couches are soft and comfy as clouds. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood with its expansive oaks and small golf club. Close drive to Publix, Starbucks and restaurant, with old town and springs just 15 and 25 minutes via highway or horse-country roads. Elizabeth is super responsive and thoughtful.

Ravannah was great - very responsive and pleasant. The place is beautiful with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy nature. The home was exceptionally clean. The donkeys were a great hit with our grandchildren. Lots of parking. Just a couple of small issues: the propane tank for the outside grill was empty (but Ravannah had it replaced within the hour), outdoor play gym and trampoline pictured on the website were missing (but there were some other kid-friendly outdoor games provided). We really enjoyed our stay at Ravannah's place.

Peaceful Oasis. We intentionally booked here because we knew the community was recovering from the 2024 hurricane. Heard amazing reviews about Cedar Key and it didn't disappoint. The community is strong in their recovery efforts and so appreciative of visitors. The locals are chill and very friendly. Enjoyed amazing seafood at Steamers (best chowder), delicious lattes/breakfast at the Prickly Palm (cutest vibe), incredible aerial views of the keys & Gulf of America (Cedar Key Island Air Tours/shout out to Pilot Bill!), beautiful sunsets at the point, and star gazing at night. Plenty to do in Cedar Key and walked to all of it. Did a few worthwhile day trips(Crystal River, Manatee State Park). Can't speak enough about our trip and HIGHLY recommend Creed's listing for two. Just as pristine as pictured and better. Amenities, linens, mattress, pillows and decor were high quality and very comfortable. The views from the private patio are the best around. 1000% would stay here again!

This was a perfect getaway - minus the impending hurricane! Dog friendly, with partially fenced in year and swimming for the pups. Very peaceful on the porch and both of the two docks. Plenty of kayaks for us to paddle around the bay. We saw lots of wildlife - birds, fish, and even a ray! Really lovely place. I wish we could've stayed longer, but the storm was moving in. Katie was super helpful with storm updates and options. On another note, the key is super adorable. 83 West is possibly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Definitely plan to come back after hurricane season!

My family and I loved our stay here. The location was perfect for both WEC and HITS. We also loved the house and felt totally at home from the first moment we stepped inside. The house was clean and tidy and I especially loved both bathrooms. The showers were great. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again next time we are in town!

Clean and functional. It worked well for what we needed it for. Check in was easy.
