Lovely long weekend stay at the Sheppy, beautifully done shepherds hut in a stunning quiet location with spectacular views. We were greeted with a warm welcome and after being shown to the sheppy and anything needed to be explained, we were left to our own devices. Trisha was a lovely host and was very helpful in recommending local places to go and to walk. Lovely friendly pub literally across the road with great food. Perfect for a peaceful time away from it all. Thank you!

Alan is an exceptional host, attentive and considerate, he explained how everything worked, drew us a map of the local area and was concerned to make sure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The accomodation is very clean and exceedingly comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfectly situated half way between north and south coasts being almost equidistant between Penzance and St Ives. We would definitely stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Fabulous few days in this peaceful little haven. We loved Smithy’s Stable, so comfortable & well equipped in such a pretty setting. Mark & Margaret are wonderful hosts, both welcoming & friendly making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The homemade scones were delicious! Within easy reach of the stunning Tremenheere Gardens as well as a short drive to St Ives & Penzance. Great too for walking & cycling the quiet lanes. Thoroughly recommend Smithy’s Stable & would love to return.

Delighted to stay here which is a short walk from St Ives and easily commutable to other key locations in Cornwall. Excellent comms throughout the whole experience, Gary and Lin were warm and welcoming and very attentive hosts. Would stay again without hesitation
