Lovely stay, nicely kept. Perfect location to visit attractions around St.Ives and Penzance. Thank you for letting us stay in your cottage. Hope to visit next summer as well

Alan is an exceptional host, attentive and considerate, he explained how everything worked, drew us a map of the local area and was concerned to make sure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The accomodation is very clean and exceedingly comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfectly situated half way between north and south coasts being almost equidistant between Penzance and St Ives. We would definitely stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Mark and Margaret were the perfect hosts. Prior to our stay, Mark provided regular updates including a list of recommended restaurants for us to investigate and book ahead of our arrival. He also volunteered the what3words location for the cottage - that was very helpful. On our arrival, Mark and Margaret were there to greet us with a friendly disposition. The gardens were fantastic and we especially liked The Smithy having its own beautiful cottage garden. The cottage itself, although just a little on the small side, looked great. It was very homely and had everything that we needed. Throughout our stay, Mark and Margaret continued to be helpful. The Smithy is ideally placed for visits to both the north and south coasts, as well as some inland gems. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay again.

Iain and Sarah were great hosts, providing all the help and information we needed. With friendly, fast responses to all our questions, we really appreciated their efforts. The location of Hale is convenient, with everything of interest within a short driving distance. There’s also a pub, local restaurants, and a large supermarket that’s within walking distance which was useful. We found the place exceptionally clean and well maintained, and have to make a special mention of the amazing shower which was so impressively powerful. We had a great time, and recommend without hesitation.
