Camille was a fantastic host. Very friendly and responsive. The location is great and very quiet and peaceful.

This is our second time staying at one of John’s properties. Hosts are always responsive and provide very clear instructions. Space was clean and very easy to find. Great stay if you’re visiting Disneyland. We will be back again.

Jamie and Chuck were great hosts! They were super nice and friendly our whole visit. They were sure to let us know we could contact them about any issues or questions. The place is in a great location, there’s a lot of restaurants nearby and Universal Studios is less than 10mins away. They also let us use their drive way as parking which was great!

Had a wonderful time at ethans place. The place was exactly as described plus more. My favorite was the bath tub it was super relaxing after a long day of hiking. I will definitely be back !

This was one of the best AirBnb's I have stayed at. Jan was friendly and left several extra ammenities inside the home. The location was in a safe and walkable location. The outside seating areas were inviting and relaxing. My stay was very enjoyable and I will be returning when I am in the area again.

Hallgrim was a very gracious host. We were moving from another Airbnb & needed a place to stow our refrigerated food for 3 hours. He easily accommodated that & ultimately said we could just check in early. One caveat - be sure you understand the street parking protocol. It works but it can be tight, especially late at night. We always found a spot but you will need good parallel parking skills. The house is personal & eclectic & you will feel like you are staying at a good friend’s house. This is not the usual “just the basics” corporate Airbnb. It is a home. My daughter & I felt very comfortable staying here & would definitely book it again. The Canyon has a unique history. In addition to looking thru the beautiful coffee table book Hallgrim has left out for his guests to enjoy, you must watch Echo in the Canyon for an extended stroll through the musical history of this unique canyon. You’ll be singing Mamas and Papas songs on your way down to Lilly’s Cafe in no time!

Host was very communicative but not invasive. Felt right at home and has everything you would need, like staying at a friend’s house. Beds were great. Loved the front deck - so peaceful with comfortable furniture, lush greenery, and great view. Spent most of our time out there. One caveat, to get the great views in the middle of the city, you have to climb. We did not have a problem with it and we are not particularly young or super fit, but if you struggle with stairs at all, definitely not the place for you. And keep in mind that anything you bring (luggage, groceries, etc) will need to be taken up a single narrow staircase (roughly the height of 1.5 floors) so maybe not a good choice if you don’t travel light. We would stay again.

Great location, easy to find some authentic Chinese food

Tamryn's place exceeded my expectations in every way. The pictures were accurate, and yet somehow did not do justice to just how special the apartment or its surroundings are! There were many thoughtful touches throughout: there was ground coffee, half and half, Greek yogurt and granola available in the fridge for breakfast, hand lotion and sunscreen available in the bathroom, and it seemed that the linens had been washed in scentless detergent, which I really appreciate because I'm super sensitive to soaps and scents. The apartment itself was surprisingly spacious, with a full-size bathroom and cute kitchenette and dining table overlooking their gardens. It was perfect for a weekend stay and I found myself wishing I could stay even longer. Many thanks to Tamryn and her family for the comfortable and well-appointed guest suite!

The studio space was exactly as I'd hoped: quiet, comfortable, and peaceful. I was out & about a lot during the day when I was visiting, but I knew that when I got back to my studio, it was going to be a relaxing environment. I use public transit & the Metro A line's South Pasadena station was a quick walk, which was great too. I will book again next time I'm in the area!

Lovely apartment, as pictured. Very cute, private, comfortable, and very pet friendly with the yard. The property was filled with beautiful rose bushes and plants. Wassam and Travis are wonderful hosts. The apartment was ready early and we were informed we could check in as soon as we arrived. They checked in again after arrival to insure we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything. Excellent experience, we would definitely stay again!

Julia was an above and beyond host, making us feel welcome at all times. The place was wonderful: well-prepared kitchen, great natural lighting, comfortable beds, ample and comfortable. ACs on every room were a big plus during the SoCal heat! Plus a cute small patio in the back. We felt right at home and would love to be back. Location is also unparalleled--Altadena is truly beautiful

Great place to stay if you’re in LA for the Warner Bros & Universal Studios, as we’re in the same area. Flat is exactly as described, and the bed is so comfy for a good night rest after a busy day on the roller coasters! Cesca is the best host you could hope for: so proactive to offer local recommandations (food, hike places, activities), super flexible to help us to store our luggage even before checkin was available to make our trip more convenient. She was also so attentive to our long journey to reach LA, and was extra nice to make our first night in the city perfect and relaxing.

This location was incredible. Gorgeous clean, peaceful community that feels safe and is well maintained. The walking distance eats and grocery/supply options are perfection beyond words. Host was incredibly gracious and helpful and location was well maintained. Never had a trip location stay feel instantly like a second home like this. bravo.

I came to Los Angeles for the Beyonce concert and was looking for an in between place to uber around and, came upon Chas cute little 1bed 1bath. It was nice, quiet, and spacious, Chas was great with communicating before and after I left for the time being I was there.

Patricia was a very accommodating host. We needed to extend our stay several times while we waited for an apartment to open after the Altadena fire. The house is spacious, has a nice and friendly character, and is on a lovely street--Orange Grove. Very nice backyard. Friendly to pets. Great for kids. The shower is a little funky, but we made it work. I highly recommend Patricia as a host.

The house worked out perfectly for us. Everyone had plenty of space.

This house was great for our family. We felt comfortable letting the baby crawl around here, and the kitchen and eating area were a good size for 3 generations of people. There was a nice supply of children's toys and books too. Suzy is a good communicator and did everything she could to accommodate our needs. I will note that we underestimated our ability to walk 1.7 miles to and from the Disney property on top of walking the park. We ended up driving to Disney even though it was close. Uber is also a good option. Also, we paid to have the pool heated, but the outside temp was in the low 70's while we were there and it was still chilly. So it made for some expensive swimming. My recommendation is to really consider how much time you will be at the house, and be realistic about your tolerance for the temperatures.

Charlotte's place has a lot going for it in terms of location, view, spaciousness, style and quiet. Fantastic for a family as the picture windows look right out at the pool (with a gorgeous view of the canyon beyond that). Charlotte was very considerate.

Michael and Laura were fabulous hosts. Before I checked in, they sent me a message asking about my favorite drink -- so that they could have it waiting for me! I felt like I arrived to a secret garden, with a darling welcome sign at the front door. The entrance feels fully private and the area is so quiet. The space is thoughtfully stocked, with everything I needed for cooking, showering, sleeping, relaxing. Michael checked in to see that I had everything I needed and was quick to respond when I texted about best walkable grocery stores or scenic walks. They are a perfect combination of warm and attentive, while also respecting privacy. This is my favorite Airbnb I've ever stayed. And I hope to come back again! Seriously cannot thank them enough for a wonderful time and for sharing their incredible space with me! Hugs to you both -- fabulous job!

Their house is incredible, they were very fast to respond to all inquiries, we desperately needed a crib and they came over to put one together for us. I can’t say enough about this property. When you picture a historic SoCal neighborhood and house — this place does not disappoint. But it has all the amenities. We wanted a good convenient location in the LA area to celebrate my wife’s birthday that would give us a fantastic place to hang out but also easy to access cities nearby, especially visiting my son in Anaheim. Not only was this location easy to access, the backyard pool set up is perfect for relaxing for an entire day. The house itself is so beautiful, comfortable and charming (plus a great place to watch a movie at night). Everything about this stay was perfect — my wife cannot stop talking about it! Combine that with a fantastic host! Jorgen is easy to communicate with and very flexible (plus — he has a great taste in movies!) My family said “this has to be where we stay when we do family meets up in SoCal from now on!” I highly recommend staying at this beautiful historic property.

The house is so close to lax airport and was very close to my aunts house. Soooooo many amenities in the house! Pool was refreshing, lots of comfortable patio furniture, comfortable beds, lots of games, books, many movies. Maria was so prompt to answer questions (thank you so much)!! Would stay here again without a doubt!! ❤️
