Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Connecticut River

My husband, dog, and I stayed at Melanie's place for 6 weeks while we were waiting to close on our new home. The house was incredible, very clean, and fully stocked with anything that you could need during your stay. The property was quiet and wonderful for our dog to enjoy her outside time. Melanie was very communicative during our stay - she had her cleaning crew come twice and was on top of any necessary snow removal while we were there. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be to stay there in the nicer months of the year! The location was fantastic as well, close to the main road but not too close that the noise of the cars would be bothersome. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Melanie's place if they are coming to the area. Truly a home away from home!

Great spot in Beacon; really close to downtown. House is spotless and comfortable. Check in was really easy. Plenty of parking.

Laurie is a wonderful and generous host. Though we did not take advantage of it, she let us know that early check-in was possible on our arrival date. When we did arrive, we were greeted with a lovely care package of treats, including excellent treats for our dog. Really nice touches, and much appreciated. The space is clean and spacious, free of clutter, with a nice kitchen. We are especially grateful for pet-friendly hosts, and Laurie's place was truly excellent. Even non-pet people should find the space very suitable. There are no signs that other dogs had stayed there, the space, furniture and linens are all very clean. Great host, great place!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very comfortable, spacious house right in the center of the village. Dan and Peggy were great hosts.

We had a wonderful girl's trip staying in Diana's house! We walked to the beach and to Scratch bakery (twice). The house was perfect for the five of us with a great sitting area to hang out and chat. The house was clean and the instructions for cleaning up were easy to follow.

This space was amazing for a big family! Check in and check out process were both super simple and straightforward, the house was very clean, and the host was really nice. Overall just a great place to unwind with the family.

Fantastic location! House has everything you need for your home away from home. Clean and the best home if you are bringing your dog!! Fenced in yard and even a dog dish if you forget to pack your dogs. I would highly recommend!

We stayed at Kelli’s place for 6 nights! It is in a beautiful location. Minutes from downtown Saranac Lake and a short drive to Lake Placid! Both areas have great local shops to explore and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy! The house is as described! A nice home away from home for our Christmas/New Year’s vacation! Kelli has the place fully stocked. So you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable too! Kelli was friendly and responsive to any questions we had. She also put down some extra rock salt right before we arrived as there was snow/ice on the ground! I would definitely recommend Kelli’s place if you are looking for a place to relax by the water or for a winter getaway!

LOVED LOVED! My friends and I all agreed that this house looks just like the pictures for once! Very nice unexpected touches/surprises. House had everything you could really need! I believe the host could get away with charging more in my opinion! I hope to come back in the future.

It was so nice to return to this place during a visit with my family in Connecticut. As always, it was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen each night.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

My girlfriend and I arrived late at night, Richard was very friendly and kindly demonstrated how to work the gate and the hot tub. Inside was super clean, lights were very easy to navigate, TV was large and drinks were provided. All and all 10/10 experience, would visit again in the future.

This was a wonderful place to stay and our hosts were very helpful. The house was spacious but still cozy and welcoming. Great fireplace. One of the best equipped kitchens we've experienced in our Airbnb stays. Plenty of seating for everyone, Comfortable beds, individual room temperature controls. We had a wonderful Christmas here were our family. Plenty of parking for our 3 cars. Driveway and parking area plowed and sanded whenever there was bad weather. Even the deck got shoveled! Grocery stores and the town of Woodstock with its restaurants, shops, and Christmas atmosphere were near by. Skiing and bigger stores and towns not far away. A sincere thank you to our hosts for their thoughtfulness!

My friends and I had a great time at Stephen’s place. Stephen responded to any inquiries we had almost instantaneously and plowed the driveway for us in the morning when it snowed. The house was very cozy but it did get a bit cold in some of the rooms at night even with the thermostat increased but the weather outside was also unnaturally cold in the days we stayed so it wasn’t that huge of an issue. We also had a bit of an issue with ants in one of the rooms but getting rid of them wasn’t that hard. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back in the summer to get use out of the pool and beautiful backyard!!

Ron was great to work with. Very responsive! He emailed details ahead of time that were on point. The cabin was just as promised and did not disappoint. We were extremely happy! The kitchen was fully stocked if you like to cook basically just bring your own food. Beautiful home that is well maintained!

House was very clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and bed was super comfortable and cosy. Everything was there in the house- kitchen, bathroom, hot water. Well styled decor. Spotless. Felt very private and peaceful. Location was not as picturesque as I prefer, but fairly close to sight seeing.

Such a lovely time and Chris & Cynthia’s! Cynthia was so communicative leading up to our stay and kindly greeted us upon arrival for a quick walkthrough of the property. They were so accommodating and easy going with check in times and were so pet friendly! Loved staying here!

Very cozy and relaxing cabin. Amazing location close to Morrisville and Stowe. Our dogs loved the cabin and backyard which made our trip so much better. Being off the beaten path made it easier to take morning walk with the dogs Great host and we are looking forward to coming back

Had a great long weekend with my best friend and my dog. We each had our bedroom and bathroom with an open kitchen and living space. Huge nicely fenced in yard, clean and comfortable home that was quiet and private. We had a snowstorm and the generator kicked in right away, snow was shoveled and plowed

The cottage is cozy and comfortable, including the beds. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet very accessible to hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, and shops. Fiona was extremely friendly and helpful. She is definitely a Super Host! We would happy have stayed longer if we could have! For those who like to ride your bike: Rt. 127, the main road that goes around Cape Ann, is very narrow and has no shoulder, so I don't recommend planning to bike there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tara’s place! It felt like home, so well stocked and comfortable. Incredible views, cooking on the Blackstone overlooking the mountains was a favorite! Tara we super helpful with a couple of minor things that came up over the weekend. There was a ton of space. We highly recommend and are hoping to stay here again!

We had a great time in Provincetown and the cute cottage is steps away from Commercial Street and all the great bars, restaurants, clubs and entertainment. Our two small dogs enjoyed the enclosed back yard. Despite being so close to town, it was quiet at night. Having a designated parking space was a big help as it can be hard a times to find parking. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay and sure some areas might be starting to show their age but you are as so close to town, having parking and plenty of space which makes it a great find.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pamela's! She provided a lot of great recommendations for the area. There's a ton of hiking, kayaking, and restaurants within a 20-30 minute drive. There are a few food options and shops within walking distance as well. The apt had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here!
