Cabin vacation rentals in Connecticut River

I stayed for a week in this little cabin, and it was the most peaceful week I’ve had in a long time. You’re surrounded by nature (I had a family of deer graze outside during my stay). It’s a great place if you need to getaway from the suburb/city.

We utilized Christian’s A-frame as a last minute getaway to brighten my Fiancés spirits after a recent injury. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Christian and Ruth are extremely talented with their decor, cleanliness, and overall ambience of their cabin. We are more than eager to return, and we’re so excited to post on our social medias to share this gem with our friends and family. Thank you Christian for an amazing experience!

this cabin was the cutest! it was perfect for a short getaway from home, and the hot tub was a fantastic amenity. I would definitely go back to this cabin, and would love to explore Scott’s other properties!

Beautiful cabin, everything looked the same as the pictures. Great place to get away from the city. Quiet and private. Although we didn’t need to contact the host throughout the stay Alexa was very attentive from check in to check out. :)

What a pretty and cozy place! The big couch was inviting and beyond comfy; the fireplace was awesome; and there were lots of bedrooms for us to spread out in. The sauna and hot tub were icing on the cake!

It was our second time to visit & we’re very happy to spend the weekend here! The cabin is very cozy, relaxing and has everything we need. We used the hot tub to cap off our nights, under the full moon and stars. Host is very responsive!

Great stay within minutes to Sugarloaf. Enjoyed the beautiful winter setting in the hot tub, snow shoed, snowboarded. It was great!

This is a beautiful location and incredibly close to town. The fireplace keeps the home toasty and is great after a soak in the hot tub. Check-in and check-out were seamless and everything was clean. The WiFi was strong and it is clear that these are seasoned hosts who know what they are doing.

This was our second trip to the Karma Cabin and just as serene and peaceful as the first. Even the dog was excited to be back :). Love this little corner of the world and the unique vibe Claudia has created here in the quiet woods.

Misty Mountain Hop was "as advertised" and more! We expected a cabin in beautiful surroundings with a full kitchen for our Thanksgiving stay. We got all that plus a cozy, comfortable and relaxing vibe that would be hard to list but is definitely part of this great accommodation. Of course the falling snow helped, but the wood burning stove, comfortable beds and furniture, rustic decor and complete dining area made our stay. We cooked a complete Thanksgiving dinner plus several other meals and had everything we needed and then some. The thoughtful extras in the kitchen were appreciated, especially the coffee and tea. The heating system plus wood stove worked well. One note, if you will be there in Winter, the driveway is long and would be difficult to navigate with the snow if we did not have 4 wheel drive. The road however was promptly plowed. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a natural setting. Also Talia was helpful and communicative.

Not only were the Cabin, property, and scenery a serene place to spend a vacation, the whole place was more well-supplied than you could ask for.

We always have a great time at this cozy cabin. It’s secluded, peaceful, and a great place to bring our city dog to enjoy nature.

Had another fabulous time in Jan's cozy cabin! It's a perfect escape from city life with peaceful surroundings, lovely walks and hikes nearby without ever needing to get in the car, lots to do in nearby North Conway and so so cozy and comfortable in the cabin! We love it there and highly recommend it!

Burju and Michael’s cabin is truly special. It was the perfect place to relax and slow down. The forest is absolutely beautiful, the cabin is very clean and looks just like the pictures with lots of charming touches. The road was snowy but we were fine in our all-wheel drive. Plenty of firewood is provided and the kitchen is very well-equipped with cast irons, utensils, a hot plate, kettles, soaps, and more. We absolutely look forward to going back!

We had a very cosy and peaceful stay at Jillian’s cabin in December. Despite the cold outside it was lovely and toasty inside, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was conveniently located in a quiet and pretty setting, which was magical in the snow! The family were very welcoming and helped us out with the snowy conditions. We really appreciated all the recommendations for places to explore and eat too. Thank you so much!

We loved our visit at the Peace Ridge Cabin! The cabin was cozy and peaceful, surrounding nice hiking trails and views of the mountains near by. The house offered amenities that made our stay exactly what we were looking for. Just a short drive to some nice restaurants and Lake Placid center made it convenient. We enjoyed getting to bring our dog who loved exploring the grounds! Jerry was polite and informative. He was even flexible when we needed to check in early! We enjoyed our stay and would love to return again!

Would highly recommend this stay to everyone! Stayed one night here with my husband and dog and was sad to leave this peaceful cabin, I wish our trip could have been longer! The bottom level of the cabin felt so spacious and all of the little touches made it feel so cozy and comfortable. We were surprised by how well stocked the kitchen was with quality cookware, lots of utensils, and even cooking oil and lots of spices. Walk down to the lake was even quicker than we anticipated and you get a really nice view overlooking the lake. We loved this stay so much, will definitely be back in the future.

It really is the most beautiful cabin! The stream is so very lovely and the hosts are so nice and friendly! The bed is super comfy and the little heater that is provided is perfect for cooler weather. The shower is just amazing. The whole place is so beautiful and the perfect spot to rest! I definitely want to go back and sincerely think everyone should go there at least once in their life! Thank you, Christina and Doug!

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

Second time staying with Jess. The very definition of peace and quiet!! We will return for a third time when we need to get away from EVERYTHING…. Especially the cell phones.
