Family-friendly vacation rentals in Columbia

Three couples stayed at the house for four days. There was plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub is on the smaller end holding three (smaller) people max and no privacy since it is on the deck and faces the neighbors. Only a ten minute Uber ride to downtown. We loved our stay and would definitely rent it again.

The entire experience was fantastic. The house and property are gorgeous and the hosts are the rare kind who love hospitality and show it in every way. It’s uncommon to say we lacked nothing, but we lacked nothing. We’re used to bringing little things that many hosts overlook, but it was unnecessary here. They even had the outdoor fire ready to light and I didn’t need to show off my boy scout skills. As for communication, local recommendations, instructions and the like- over the top, ten stars. This is a great place if like us your group includes people on different schedules- early risers, night owls, jet lag… the layout is such that no one disturbs the other. The neighborhood is quiet, although the street is busier than you’d expect so be careful. Time into town maybe 15 minutes tops in traffic, about 20 to the airport, both very straightforward. We preferred rideshares which are plentiful. We highly recommend Rick’s place and hope you treat yourself to a stay here.

Chris’s place was perfect for my client and I as it was centrally located to every appointment we had. The condo was kept up extremely well and the neighborhood felt safe. Chris was also proactive in making sure everything was good for us.

Private, peaceful and easy to access without being too secluded. If you have kids, the bunk room is a cute feature. We used it for a marriage intensive and a family overnight. We live local so we are also familiar with the area. Accessible to 65 whether going to Franklin or Nashville.

This home is amazing. We didn’t want to leave! The house was immaculate and was close to everything. We were close to 12 South and The Gulch and many other great locations. The neighborhood was wonderful. We went for walks every day. We will definitely be back again!

All honesty was hesitant and thinking I should have booked somewhere else, but it really was great. Jimmy was super accommodating, understanding, and flexible with us! The hot tub was sooo nice to sit it, just not when the sun is beaming! Between the games, popcorn machine, etc… really didn’t have to leave the place if we didn’t want to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

There were 3 couples that stayed here and it was perfect. Each bedroom with its own bathroom was exactly what we were looking for. The house was very clean, comfortable and organized. Great location, easy to find and in a safe area. Gas station within walking distance and only about 25 mins(with traffic) to Broadway. We would definitely rebook here! 😊

We traveled to Nashville for a family birthday party and needed a place to stay where we could have our dog, as we were bringing him with us. This house was PERFECT! Close to great shopping and restaurants, big back yard and very comfortable clean home, bathroom and bedrooms.

Wonderful time, kids loved the play area, it was a beautiful drive, and we loved the setup. The host was lovely and we felt very comfortable there. We would recommend this place to others!

The house was great for our needs. No negative surprises. Everything was as described. Great location. Comfy beds. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again.

We stayed in Jason and DeMarco’s Cottage which was adorable. It was so peaceful with windows looking out at the horse pasture. The place was warm and cozy with everything you need. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life and unplug. We’d definitely recommend this for a nice quiet retreat. We had a wonderful stay! Many thanks!

Melanie was a great host. Very responsive and condo was clean and thoughtfully stocked with necessities and extras. And was a great location - easily walkable to Broadway.

Great place about a mile from downtown Franklin and easy walking distance to the factory , downtown or a local convenience store. Place was very clean and as described. Only improvement would be to have parking access from the side road versus the busy road. Would recommend as a good option for Franklin visitors.

Great location to visit the city. Easily accessible to everywhere you’d want to visit in Nashville. The history of the building is pretty neat too. Host were very responsive and accommodating. Big thank you.

We really had a great time at Angie and Matt’s house. The house itself was very clean, perfectly furnished and extremely comfortable. The pool and grounds were extremely relaxing and peaceful. Nashville is close at hand by car or Uber and we found the short trip a small price to pay to be staying in such a beautiful house.

Whiskey River was amazing. The barn itself is set up so beautifully! There is lots to do and if you don’t want anything to do there are very many ways to relax. We loved sitting outside and taking in the view and getting to see all the surrounding animals. We also really enjoyed having dinner at the dining table downstairs in the barn with the barn doors open. It was the relaxing break we needed. Whiskey River will hold a special place in my heart not only for the hospitality and beauty but because my partner and I got engaged during our stay! I could not have asked for a better place to get engaged and really get to enjoy each other’s company :) thank you both so much for a memorable stay!

A wonderful place to stay, the apartment was quite central to lots of great activities to do in Nashville. There were lots of recommendations and activities left for you to do so it was helpful if you didn’t know what to do. It created a fantastic base for our family holiday. Thank you.

The pictures do not do justice. I came with a six person family and we all felt very at home. The place is very clean and they made all the appropriate renovations needed to make you feel comfortable. The snacks they have out are surprisingly helpful when you arrive not having gone to the grocery. I’ve never stayed at a ‘permanent home’ Airbnb but my family loved ‘learning’ about the residence by viewing their photos. The host was EXTREMELY responsive so that will not be an issue. The only downside is the actual beds. It was not an issue for us because we are easy going but there were air mattresses and the king bed sinks in the middle. Overall wonderful stay!!

Great stay! Great view. Clean, the beds were amazing. Patsy's instructions were so well laid out, we didn't need any other help from her, but I'm confident she would have been there to talk us through any issues we might have had. Thanks for a great vacation! We now love Nashville!

Kayla’s condo was easy to find with Waze. Entry direction directions were clear. Parking was easy. Both elevators worked 😊. Quick walk to French bakery for morning coffee and a crescent. $5-$8 Lyft ride to downtown and broadway, we could have walked but the weather a couple days was rainy.
