Tent vacation rentals in Colorado River

The tents had everything required especially the comfortable bedding and blankets. It's a perfect place to unwind and reset and also to enjoy stargazing. Highly recommended to anyone interested in this unique experience. The host was also welcoming and helpful and shared great recommendations. Thanks for the Navajo tea.

We rented two sites side by side for three families and everyone had an absolute blast. The novice campers were happy for the luxurious beds and the seasoned campers had fun sleeping in the adventurous tensile air-tents. The site was super well stocked - salt, sugar, water, a bathroom caddy, pots, pans, grill, plates etc. (even board games). It was so easy to make coffee in the morning or grill a nice fish at nice. We had such a wonderful time that we're already planning a return trip. The woods are beautiful and there are great hiking trails nearby.

Tara is really sweet and insightful! I've had a lovely camping experience at one of the best spots I've ever been to. Hope to be back in Sedona soon and will definitely want to experience this again!

As a college student traveling alone after a 10-hour drive, I’m grateful for the help provided by Michaela and her husband, Paul. As an inexperienced camper, Paul not only helped me set up but also shared useful camping tips, transforming me from a city kid into someone who can pitch a tent, light a fire, and appreciate Death Valley. Paul frequently checks on camper’s safety due to the extreme weather and even brought me drinks from their store without charge. Their campsite, behind the family’s convenience store with fair prices, is a great spot for people unprepared like me. (Be sure to tip them—they truly deserve it!)

Chandra is such an amazing host. Very responsive throughout and I had to cancel at the very last minute because of the weather. Although it was past the cancellation deadline, she refunded the entire amount back to me. Would definitely come back and camp with her next time I’m in town.

This place was quite an experience! Set in the middle of a desert, this is a private retreat and a cool glamping experience on a night where we could clearly see the stars! Lovely way to ring in the new year for us.

This was the perfect getaway. Getting away from LA is always something I try to do on my weekends and this place was just amazing. The hosts are great. It gets very cold at night as it is the desert, but I loved that my tent had a heater and warm blankets. The location is also very close to bars/eateries/coffee shops - literally 5 minutes! I’ll definitely be coming back to experience a stay at another one of their establishments within the estate.

This was my second stay at one of Kosh’s cabins - and it was just as great as the first time. He’s very kind and responsive, willing to help with any questions or issues! I love the property, it’s a lovely getaway from the city. The Sungloo is so cozy and it’s awesome to be able to stargaze from inside! It was in the 40’s at night but the bed was fully loaded with blankets (including an electric blanket), and there was a space heater available too. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and well stocked (with coffee!). The only minor drawback (not Kosh’s fault!) is that there are some exuberant dogs nearby that get barking sometimes, as well as some farm animals who wake up early, so ear plugs may come in handy! We spent our days hiking in Idyllwild (40 minute drive), and evenings under the stars in the Sungloo - a lovely couple of days!
