Guesthouse vacation rentals in Colorado River

The guesthouse was 100% clean. The bed was very comfortable. Jacqueline's instructions were clear, and it was easy to get inside. I was very impressed with the nice touches that were great for guests. There were fresh flowers and a bottle of wine when we arrived. There were lots of power strips, making charging electronics easy. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, sweeteners, etc. There were plenty of utensils, plates, cups, etc. It was a great stay!

If your reading this because you're thinking about staying in Sedona you're extremely lucky. I would highly recommend Carolyn and this location. This place is a rare gem, lucky you!

The house was very nice, clean and had the basics amenities. We had a short stay, but everything we needed was there. Beds were super comfy (we only used the two larger ones), and towels were nice too. We brought our own coffee, but there were coffee filters and a coffee pot available. We really enjoyed it and would stay again! No issues at all.

We had an incredible stay with Christina and Erik in Phoenix and they were both such great hosts. The guest house is beautifully updated, spotless, and offers a stunning view of the backyard and surrounding mountains. My son especially enjoyed watching the horses and chickens right from our window, and we loved how peaceful and private everything felt—despite being just a 10-minute drive from the city. We’ll absolutely be staying here again when we’re back in the area!

This is not my first time staying at Tom's beautiful home, and I can easily say that his hospitality is unparalleled. The property is an oasis. It is stylish yet very functional for families. The location has the best of what old Phoenix has to offer. The backyard is filled with birds singing, beautiful trees, and soft breezes. This is a place where someone could write their first novel or work or just figure out what they are going to do with the rest of their life. He treats every person who stays here like family, yet provides support from a distance. I always feel welcome and safe, which is an important distinction. But what makes staying with Tom so remarkable is… Tom :-). His warmth, compassion, and care are extraordinary. I've also had the opportunity to observe him with his neighbors and family, and you can see that this is genuinely who he is. It is equally important to acknowledge how unique Tom is, and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to know him!

Rachelle's casita was wondeful to stay at. The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. It was very spacious for a party of 4. All the ammenities were provided to us and Rachelle was very timely in responding to any questions or concerns. We would stay there again and would recommend to any family and friends visiting Sedona!

It was an excellent time, Mark gave us the best service, he had several basic things for the kitchen and many more extras, which we also left some things for others on our way outing. It is a small place but perfect for 4 people, the farm animals are friendly, although it is a bit far from the city, it is what we really needed to rest.

The Casita suited us to a tee. Just the right amount of everything. Privacy wall allowed our small dod access to the outside. Very comfortable. Hosts were wonderful.

Our second visit to Pats place. The setting is truly wonderful. On the edge of the wilderness. You can walk directly from the house. Yet close to all the usual amenities as well. Very comfortable inside and lovely sitting outside looking at the mountains and watching the numerous birds.

We really enjoyed our stay - the home was clean and comfortable, and we loved the fenced in backyard with enough room for my dog to run around. Street parking was easy, and the neighborhood was pleasant and quiet. Thank you for a great stay!

Our experience, from the moment we discovered The Lazy Atom on line until our departure from Richard and Alison's fantastical property was an absolutely delightful adventure. It's clear how much fun the owners have had transforming their dream into a reality for guests to immerse themselves in. Such a joy to step back in time! The owner's creativity, passion and thoughtful attention to every detail made every aspect of our stay extraordinary. We'll be talking about sitting on the shaded patio sipping on a refreshingly cold bottle of coke from the vintage pop machine just steps away after a long day of hiking in the desert heat for years to come! Thank you, Richard and Alison! We hope to return to your eclectic sanctuary again one day on our travels to your spectacular part of the world.

Super cute; exactly as described; excellent neighborhood. Everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again when I’m traveling to Phoenix alone.

The place had clear instructions on how to get in, was modern and clean, and had a private outdoor area that was well decorated and had a nice view. Located in a quiet suburb area and only a 5 minute drive from Main Street. We came into town last minute and Maria was accommodating and flexible with us which was very appreciated. Would strongly recommend this place.

WOW! The unit was spotlessly clean and decorated in a lovely style that made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. We really enjoyed the large bathroom and its great shower. This rental had the most amenities of any unit we have rented. Lots of lotions and shower gels, a great hair dryer, and everything needed to make simple meals. We even had an adorable welcome gift and a large basket filled with snacks upon our arrival! The pool is large and very well maintained. Security lighting was abundant and made coming and going in the dark carefree. They have an adorable puppy named Ruby that was a lot of fun. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Thank you to the family for working so hard to make this an A++ experience.

What a clean and roomy place to stay in! Every part was impressive, from the fully stocked kitchen to the large bathroom. The large king bed was very comfortable.

Clean and comfy place with everything we needed. Cute decor with personality, too! Kitchen was well-equipped and the shower was great. The front patio is a nice place to sit in the evenings and enjoy the view of the mountains around. Kasi and her husband are friendly and helpful, always very responsive and thoughtful with little extras, too. Our stay here was great.

This facility and accommodations are above and beyond what we had expected if we ever get back into her neck of the woods we will plan our vacations around the available dates of her accommodations it was spectacular she is a wonderful host I can’t thank her enough forOutstanding accommodations for making this a spectacular vacation

This is our second time staying here. Great place and quiet neighborhood as always. A lot of things had improved. Definitely come back soon.

Nancy’s space was so nice! Perfect little shotgun style apartment that made me feel right at home. Loved the backyard also! Will definitely be staying here for future trips to the Phoenix area.

Casita was a wonderful place to stay during my time in Scottsdale. It’s centrally located and close to plenty of shops and restaurants, which made everything super convenient. The space itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed — both stylish and efficient. Everything I needed for my 15-day stay was provided. Michael and Lindsay were excellent hosts — communicative, respectful, and easy to reach. Although it’s technically a guest house located next to the main home, it felt completely private, almost like having my own house. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again.

This was our second stay at Caroline and Rob’s and, like our first stay, the guest house was pristine and stocked with amenities. The location is absolutely perfect with so much to do nearby. We especially enjoyed our daily hikes at Usery Regional Park which is very close by. Caroline and Rob are amazing hosts. The guest house is a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed our afternoons on the rooftop patio or lounging by the pool. The views are absolutely spectacular! We are already looking forward to returning to, what we call, our “Happy Place” again next year.

It was first guesthouse we ever stayed at on airbnb were bit hesitant, but during our stay we had no privacy or trespassing issue of any kind, felt comfortable. Our stay here was Great. The space inside was large enough with separate bedrooms, washrooms & kitchen. Everything was clean. Host responseded instantly, instructions were very clear. Will be here again in future.

We loved staying here! We did not get a chance to meet Steve but Neesa was there and was so helpful. The place was so cozy and friendly, we felt right at home. I hate to say I'm picky... but I am... LOL. Some hosts just don't think of the little things that make your stay more comfortable... like comfy sheets and warm lighting etc. Neesa thought of EVERYTHING. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of staying here. We were originally going to stay in Sedona but found this and figured it was so close to Sedona we would give it a shot. Once we were there we were super happy with our decision and actually ate all our meals in Cottonwood and only ventured to Sedona for some hikes and a jeep tour. Cottonwood is a friendly little town with great restaurants and is near everything. Also, we loved the fact that while this place is truly "in the country", you are only 5 min to Safeway!!!

Great place perfect for my stay. Will definitely look to stay here again next time.
