Monthly Rentals in Chromonastiri

Everything is great. Great house, great view, all rooms equipped with modern TV and above all closets and private bathroom. Mosquito screens in front of all doors. Kitchen well equipped. Giant table in kitchen-living room but also on the terraces large tables. Rooms are spread over 3 floors (3 upstairs, 1 center, 1 downstairs). The lower room came close to an in-law, with its own kitchen and also here private bathroom. The pool of high quality tiled cleaned every 2 or 3 days. Almost everywhere natural materials made of wood or stone. Overall very well thought out and well-designed, we liked it very much. Car absolutely necessary. No supermarket in the village only tiny coffee / kiosk with high prices. All in all very nice and definitely recommended.

This place is perfect - it looks as good, if not better, than the pictures. We were only there as a couple, and this place felt huge, but it could easily accommodate a big family or a group of friends. Nice to have NETFLIX on the TV for when it gets dark early in September/October. Great, well-equipped kitchen meant we cooked and ate-in most nights. Comfy beds, good pillows, and nice showers. Overall, absolutely ideal. Only drawback is that you definitely need a car, as there is only one local cafe - you need one to go to the shops, to a restaurant, etc. Also, our host Maria-Eleni was so lovely, and couldn’t do enough for us!

So happy to have the chance to stay in such beautiful residence, the pool is a great plus ! Manolis is an incredible host, very kind and helpful.

Great house, felt like brand new. Central location, 15min to Rethimno and 1-1.5 hours drive to lovely spots in the west, south and east. Also good eating places within 10min walking distance. Rooms are large, downstairs open pool/grill area is huge. Very friendly service, very responsive. House is in a village located on a mountain side. Due to higher altitude temperature 2-3C colder than in Rethimno. At this time of year (end of October) it was therefore relatively chilly there and we could not take full advantage of the great pool area outside. On the other hand might be a huge advantage during hot summer period, and also for us everything worked well due to central location of the villa and possibility to drive to various warmer areas on the island.
