This was my second time staying at this place and it always exceeds my expectations!! There's plenty of room for spacing out and is an overall quiet area with many things around. I will definitely be booking here again soon!

If you know Edenton at all, this is exactly the type of place you are looking for, easy walk to everything and a classic home with just the right modern touches. George is a perfect host!

We enjoyed every moment in this lovely home. The views are stunning, the beds are very comfortable and the house is warm and inviting. We cooked, drink, laughed, fished and napped in the sun. Perfect getaway.

This place was amazing. We came for a funeral and it was on the same street as where my aunt stayed so we were able to walk to her house without any issues. We were able to spend time with family and get there in a timely fashion. We loved the house and the amenities that they offered. We didn’t even get to see the cottage house but will be sure to use this house for the next visit! Nicole was great!

We spent Thanksgiving with our children at The Hen House. It is clear that Victoria and Tanner have put a lot of love into this little house! It felt like home (so peaceful)! We loved the decor (especially the family photos) and the view from the deck was so wonderful! The fact that it was pet-friendly made it even better. We were able to do a little exploring in Edenton and still pop into Elizabeth City to restock my daughter's dorm room. Victoria was quick to respond when we had questions. We had a great experience!

We booked our overnight stop at The Finer Suites of Chancey and we weren’t disappointed. It’s exactly as shown and described in the listing. It’s an oversized loft off a beautiful private residence. There is a separate, private entrance to the loft, and there is more than enough parking for multiple cars. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The host stocked a mini fridge with drinks and there were other supplies as needed for hygiene. We had six adults and had more than enough space for all of us. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Dragon and his property are truly unique. He provided not just one, but two personal numbers as soon as the booking was confirmed! Despite my late arrival due to a nasty storm, he stayed up to ensure I arrived safely. He encouraged me to relax and not to worry about a specific checkout time. While the cabin is simple, it provides a safe and dry shelter for sleep. The grounds are free for guests to enjoy as they wish. I enjoyed my morning as I played some music and cooked breakfast on the provided stove. As the sun rose and the birds sang. Although I brought everything one could need. There is plenty provided for such a reasonable price. Dragon's property, though simple, felt like a haven. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, I felt at peace.

Overall, the property was in pristine condition. Excellent decor. Outstanding housekeeping. Appreciated the efforts with snacks and other amenities. The electronics worked!! Good job!

I had such an incredible experience. Millicent and Jason were the embodiment of southern hospitality. They did not shy away from making sure I had everything I needed and also hooked me up with amazing recommendations for activities to do over the weekend. Also the neighborhood was very chill and quiet. Thanks again for everything!

Was a welcome home away from...my group was not in town for pleasure and these hosts property was perfect for a home substitute while on the road for work. 3 grown men slept comfortably, had plenty of hot water and plenty of internet. Wish we had time to enjoy then surroundings...highly recommend this location.

Let's do Sunset was the perfect spot for a quiet staycation away from home. The views are beautiful, the home is cozy and comfortable with lots of windows, the hot tub is fantastic, and it had everything we needed to relax and decompress. We're very happy!

This place is an absolutely diamond in the rough. It is off the beaten path, quiet & the view is nothing short of spectacular! Laura & Marc were very responsive when I messaged them. The house is beautiful, beachy & feels like home away from home. The hot tub is perfect with a perfect view. I even saw a few dolphins from the gazebo. Perfect location to watch the sunrise as well as watch the sunset. Everything you need is here, pots, pans, cooking utensils, eating utensils, cups, plates, coffee machines & much more. Beds are comfortable! We will definitely book again.
