Vacation rentals in Chowan County

We have stayed at Cassandra's cottage twice now and we were very comfortable with the accommodations & surrounding area.

I would probably say that this is about the best value in town if you need two bedrooms. Although staying right in the downtown Edenton area would be preferable for some, it's also definitely more expensive, and that's exactly where this rental's strength is. It's very affordable, and is really only 5 minutes or so drive to the downtown Edenton area. We had 4 adult guests for our stay, and for that many people, the house is quite roomy and comfortable. It's not a "polished" home, but it doesn't advertise itself as such, so it really is an honest to goodness comfy, roomy home at the right price, very close to downtown Edenton. We'd definitely stay again. If I had to complain about anything, it'd be the fact that there is no Wi-fi in the house. The 4G / 5G signal in this particular area is not good, so it's unlikely that any guests will be able to stream any entertainment on their tablets, unless for example they've downloaded movies in advance.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house was very clean. It is an easy walk to the main downtown area. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We didn't need them, but there were plenty of extra towels and linens. We did not cook while visiting, but it looked like there were adequate supplies of the basics if you choose to cook. We also both enjoyed reviewing the Edenton architecture book that is in the living room - I was very excited to see it, since I had already admired it at the gift shop downtown. Bryan always responded within the hour to my questions. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

I can't say enough about the Guest House. I've lost count of the times we have stayed with Larry and Mary Jo, but I know this was our 8th candlelight tour weekend. It is truly a visit with old friends. The house is always spotless, has everything we need, and the refrigerator is stocked with the best goodies! We already have our next stay booked and will likely add another before then. Having stayed in almost all of the AirBNB options in Edenton at one time or another I can honestly say that the Guest House is by far the BEST!!

We enjoyed every moment in this lovely home. The views are stunning, the beds are very comfortable and the house is warm and inviting. We cooked, drink, laughed, fished and napped in the sun. Perfect getaway.

Great stay

We had a lovely stay at this wonderful cabin. It was such a unique place with a very cozy atmosphere! If you want to experience a typical fall/winter getaway right in the middle of the woods, you need to go here!

Charming house on the water in an equally charming town. We came because we had a family event in Elizabeth City, But would be a wonderful longer stay for family. Hope to come back. Linda was very helpful.

Awesome house, if I’m ever out in Edenton again I will keep this house in mind.
