Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Chowan County

Although it was winter on our December stay, the weather was nice enough to sit on the dock Friday evening and enjoy the spectacular view and relaxing water. The house was clean, spacious, decorated very nicely, well stocked and very comfortable. We were a group of four retired women and each of us thought this property was beautiful! We slept well and enjoyed our coffee mornings while taking in the view of the river. It was ideal for our group and hope to come back in warmer weather!

What a dream host and dream house! Nicole was so responsive and just wonderful to communicate with. Her home is beautiful and had everything we needed during our stay. Location is perfect and the yard was just what our two pups needed. Thank you Nicole! We will be back!

There were a few minor issues that came up the first day, however, Erik and Lia promptly came and corrected the issues. I will stay here more often.

Very good quiet house, and good energy!

We had a great weekend in Edenton. The home was perfect for our needs.

Sheila’s place was awesome for our crew of 4 to stay. There was plenty of room and comfortable for all. The views and river out back make this location beautiful and peaceful.

The River House was absolutely perfect. We stayed here 2 nights on our way to OBX. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The property and the views were stunning. We had tons of fun swimming off the dock and hanging out on the deck. Edenton is a 10 minute drive with lots of shops and restaurants. Would love to come back next year on our way back down!

We enjoyed our stay. Joshua's place was very close to historic Edenton, which is why we were in the area. Joshua is super responsive, helpful and accommodating. Overall, the home was clean, larger than what we expected, nice furnishings, and plenty of parking. It's above a restaurant, but we heard no noise, and it was quiet and peaceful.

Great stay! The neighborhood was quiet, and the house was very close to town. The hosts are wonderful people and they have a beautiful home. Their backyard is awesome. They have so many plants, and the parking area is fenced in. All around great stay. We will be back the next time we head to OBX.

Alice's place makes for a great get away. Elizabeth City has the "Small Town" feel and folks are very hospitable. We caught a beautiful sunrise over the water this morning.

This place was very cute. The interior is decorated in an adorable beach theme, and the front porch was equally as charming. The town is very quaint. There are some gorgeous historic homes, a and really beautiful plantation that the state of North Carolina recently purchased, all within walking distance. There a couple of bikes available at this place as well. I rode out to the plantation mansion and it only took a couple of minutes. There is also an adorable lighthouse within feet of this home. We came in for golf. The Occano golf course is only a short drive away, and the course is truly one of a kind. I’d recommend staying here if you want to be close to the heart of Edenton, and nearby course:

This was my wife and I second time staying here. Its was just as nice and clean as the first time. Very peaceful and the view from both sides is exceptional. Loved the cleanliness and she makes you feel like family but at the same time you have privacy. Definitely a great place for a couple to get away and decompress.

Jennifer's place was PERFECT! Our daughter was performing at The COA so we decided to make a weekend out of it and we are so glad we did. It was a busy/hectic weekend for us but coming back to the condo was SO relaxing. BEAUTIFUL views, lots of space in the home (and games for kids), and though the condo is right off the main road, we didn't hear any noise pollution. Our trip was short so we didn't get to use the kitchen much but I loved how open it was and the large island was perfect for quick morning breakfasts. Thanks again for such an amazing and relaxing weekend!
