A clean and well equipped house with plenty of space for the family. The views looking over the lake are stunning, whether just sitting or in the hot tub. Plenty to do with the kids and onsite bistro is good quality and reasonably priced. The Spa and swimming pool is excellent. A great place to stay for a long weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay at rectory retreat, the setting was beautiful and it was so peaceful. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very cleverly thought out. The hot tub looking out onto open fields under the stars was the cherry on the cake! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Would recommend walking from the hut to Tewkesbury. Great views at the top of Norton Hill and then dropping down to walk alongside the river into the town which is lovely. 8 mile walk, we had a superb meal at an Italian restaurant and got a taxi back !!

The amenities, dining facilities and seating arrangements were absolutely perfect for four couples. Amazing views of the lake from the master bedroom, patio and lounge. We all loved it!

Great place for a family get together. Very peaceful and beautiful and lots of safe outdoor space for children to run around. The house is very well equipped with a stunning BBQ area. Jacuzzi under the stars with a hill view was a special treat. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay at the Hayloft cottage. The beautiful private surroundings just outside of Stratford upon Avon town was perfect and kept immaculate. Wendy made us feel right at home and the place was snug and cosy for the 4 of us. Complimentary treats for valentines went down a treat and we loved the pool and hot tub experience which was all pristine and well organised. Thank you so much Wendy, already planning our next trip! Although I had to return home quickly and didn't get chance to stay, I would highly recommend Lisa's flat. She takes pride and great care to provide a lovely place to stay. I have never met anyone on airbnb so helpful and friendly who definitely goes the extra mile to help in any way that she can.

My family loved our stay at Old Forge. Our children— aged 4 and 7– had a blast running around the yard and having their own secluded room on the upper level. We all enjoyed the rustic wildlife decor and the lovely view of the field. The cottage was cozy yet spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Make sure to get dinner at the local spot— The Golden Ball Inn! Stow was a very short drive away with plenty of nice shops and restaurants and a Tesco for our grocery needs. We didn’t end up getting a chance to walk the paths nearby, but we saw plenty of spots we could have done so— and with any luck someday we can return to Old Forge and get to walk around. I’d highly recommend Old Forge for anyone staying in the Cotswolds, esp with children!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely property in gorgeous settings. Our hosts were delightful. The area is absolutely beautiful with lots of wonderful walks. We had Sunday lunch at the local golf club which was superb. There was even a free range eggs for sale, at an honesty box. Painswick, beacon and Prinknash Abbey were wonderful locations to walk to. The Village of Painswick is absolutely glorious. The property looks out on a beautiful family, it is quiet, but has large televisions, which is wonderful, given that most places with state of a tiny TVs. Not that we watch that much telly. Our hosts were absolutely delightful, giving us a wonderful welcome, and supplying us with the most delicious ginger biscuits. We only stayed a few days, but we're fully rested and recharged. After spending a lovely time at this, most gorgeous place. We surely intend on returning sometime. I like to read, so it was great to have the peace and quiet to read. Thank you, Rebecca and Peter.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Had a wonderful weekend at The Walnuts. The Chapel is beautiful, clean and has lovely comfortable beds, easy parking and a perfect little garden. Jill was extremely responsive and provided helpful recommendations for walks and food, which we did and were great. Thanks so much Jill for a fab stay!

What an absolutely perfect stay! This is, without doubt, the best AirBnB experience I have ever had. The apartment was just like home - great attention to detail with things like the quality bedding, books, well equipped kitchen, fabulous shower, biscuits, eggs, milk and butter that made us feel like we were at home the moment we arrived. As a garden lover, it was particularly special to be shown around by Rosemary, who clearly enjoys her craft and took time to explain how the garden came to be. John offered recommendations on where to visit, and was so accommodating when we were a bit late to check in - at night, too! They are the kindest of people, who didn't feel at all like strangers. An utterly stunning location with wonderful, peaceful surroundings which led to idyllic sleep! Thank you both, we will most definitely return!

Lovely, attractive and comfortable house. Very well furnished and fabulously equipped. The large garden is a great space with a range of seating and tables, a chest of garden toys and a little Wendy house! Samantha communicated regularly and promptly but left as undisturbed during our stay. Overall, very highly recommended.

The perfect escape! Farahnaz and Paul are really helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Summerhouse is so secluded and cosy. it really is a proper escape from the "Busy Life" Shakurs on the corner is a great place to eat if you get the chance. Thanks again Farahnaz & Paul, We will be back.

Nicky was a great host and the house was very clean, well kitted out and a lovely relaxing place to stay. My girls loved the tennis court and we would definitely visit again.

Me and my husband had a lovely stay here and was exactly like the photos, the Airbnb is sooo cute and perfect for what we needed, great communication and loads of recommendation’s. The view from the Airbnb in stunning too, so lovely waking up and exploring the local towns and walk ing trails. The pancakes were a lovely touch too, a few pubs in walking distance which also have descriptive directions to get there in the booklet, which we followed.. we had such a lovely Easter weekend, thank you so much.

Our second time at this gorgeous old cottage. Felt at home. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful area with fantastic walks and pubs. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away and want a traditional cottage to relax in.

What a wonderful place to stay! We had a great weekend at stable cottage, location exactly as described, beautiful setting and really comfy beds! The amenities in the place were great and we really enjoyed the log fire in the evenings. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

We had an absolutely fantastic stay here; the park and views from the house are beautiful, the house is very well stocked and Sarah was great at sending all the information we needed to book activities etc and was very friendly and helpful. There is so much to do that we barely scratched the surface! Highly recommend eating at the Balihoo restaurant too. We'd love to come back in the future ☺️
