This was the perfect space for the quiet escape we were looking for. Clean, well equipped, cosy, private, and peaceful. Serena was helpful, responsive, and gave us a warm welcome and farewell. The homemade scones were a lovely bonus upon arrival as well! It's well located - surrounded by nature but only a short drive from all amenities in Taunton. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at Emily's many times and have always found it warm and welcome. We were able to do some great stargazing this time round.

Met on arrival by Fiona and lovely Polly the dog. A great base to explore from. Warm and cosy with everything you need for your stay, welcome hamper was a lovely touch. We enjoyed our cream tea, jam first and cream on top of course! We love an open fire too and appreciated the kindling and logs left for us. We walked across the field to the local pub which was perfect, very little road walk needed thanks to Alby’s guidance. A lovely walk around Hurley Beacon followed by lunch at the Carew Arms in Crowcombe. Friendly staff and great food! Would definitely recommend a stay here but you do have to keep your wits about you with the low ceilings and beams! Hope to visit again one day.
