House vacation rentals in Chetek

This Condo at Tagalong Golf Resort was the perfect place to stay. It was exactly as described, pictured and had everything we needed. A beautiful, picturesque view of the lake from the balcony. Just minutes away from multiple local eateries and a grocery store. Rachel was a Super Host, easy to communicate with and quick response time. The North Woods is very peaceful and offers beautiful scenic vistas, trees that reach for the sky and wildlife abounds. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

my family of 5 drove from Alberta Canada to stay at this cute little water front property, and it was the most adorable little spot to stay. the canoe was accessible, there were smart tv's in the room and living room, full sized kitchen, massive bathroom with laundry (thank you for this). the neighbour's were quiet, the neighborhood friendly and walkable and the water piping hot AND drinkable for being on a lake (drinkable water is a huge bonus if your on a lake). The manager was very friendly and super responsive, easy access and beautiful waters all around. we would absolutely stay here again.

Our group was celebrating my sister’s bachelorette weekend, and we could not have picked a better place or host. The place was perfect for our group and Linda has thought of everything. This place was perfect for our family of 9 adults and four kids. More than enough room to relax and enjoy one another. We forgot to tell her we were bringing fishing boats, but no problem. There is space across the road to park trailers. The fire pit was our go-to place to hang out. Lots of firewood and a beautiful view of the river. The downstairs bar was just the right place to play a family game of bingo and chat, especially on rainy days. Lots of other games too for any size family or group. Oh, and everyone says the beds are great, even the teenage boys. Lots of towels, blankets, dishes, cooking utensils, pots, and pans. Perfect! Thank you so much. It was our first ever full family hang, and this place made it very special.

Everything was outstanding. I woke up and watched a eagle fly to his nest.

Eric meet us when we arrived and gave us a review of his property. We had 5 vehicles with our UTV trailers and there was plenty of room. The home was spotless and we found it easy to find everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels with very clean bathrooms. The gas grill does need some attention. We ended up getting some charcoal and grilling on the 2 other grills instead. There was 6 couples and we all said we would want to come back here again!! Thanks for your hospitality.

Very nice location, house is very clean, quiet, and has anything you may need. Close to town and restaurants. There was plenty of room for our family. Didn't have time to check out the ice for fishing but would definitely go back.

The house was beautiful and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and baking items. There was even spices, oil, and non-perishable items (canned vegetables, bisquick, pancake mix, cereal etc). There was even homemade maple syrup in the fridge which was delicious. Country setting was peaceful. Sleep number bed in master bedroom, but it appears to be an older model or worn out cause it slopes toward the middle of the bed. There were DVDs, board games, books and toys in the living room. My girl scouts loved watching the cow. They even named it white chocolate. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area and we will definitely stay again if in the area.

A great place to rest your mind

The house had everything my friends and I needed for a reunion weekend--great location, ample space and parking, and interconnected apartments so we could have communal and individual spaces. The apartments were extremely clean and checking in and out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again.

Place was very clean, easy to find, and well worth the price. Would recommend and would rent again.

Had a wonderful stay for a weekend of board games with friends. Enjoyed walking the property, meeting the horses and the friendly dogs from a nearby home. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house with easy access to many local restaurants and activities. Locales close to downtown for easy access to downtown events. The house is as described except the 3rd bedroom is technically in open area adjacent to the livingroom and not a seperate bedroom.

Great first get away with my dog. Super peaceful and the leaves were gorgeous! Would definitely recommend!

Our family had such a great stay here while celebrating Christmas. This air bnb was one of the nicest stays we have had. The entire place was spotless and very comfortable. They put up stockings and a little tree near the fireplace which was such a cute surprise! The host warned us in advance about the water having an iron taste and we were prepared with bottled water, but the fridge filter worked great in my opinion. The house was better than the photos and there was alot of great space to spend time. We can't say enough good things, and are sure to be back. 10 / 10, would recommend.

The location was beautifully set on a lake. It was nice being on the end of a row of cabins and homes so that we didn’t feel like we were being disruptive of other guests in the area. The lake view was awesome. The house was very nicely updated with great finishes. Bedrooms were small and packed with beds but the quality of the bunks made up for the tightness.

The place was so easy to use and we loved all the little extras. Our kids had a blast with all the toys and games. Thank you for going the extra mile to have heaters set up in the garage so we could wax our skis before the race. So thoughtful! Great communication throughout our stay. Can’t recommend your place highly enough! Thanks again!

We had a lovely time in Chetek. The home was beautiful and unique. It was walking distance to several restaurants with a beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommended and we will be coming back!

Pleasantly surprised at the amount of space that we had. The owners made everything go very smooth, from the booking right up until the end. Communication was great. Everything was great and we had a great time!

Brooke was welcoming and always responsive to communications. The house is a lovely, well-maintained, comfortable older home that has been updated with modern conveniences while keeping its charm and decorated with lovely vintage touches. Quiet, walkable neighborhood that is close to a park and connects with the trail system. Wish the weather had been warmer so I could have enjoyed the deck, outside dining table, and yard.

Beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly secluded—exactly what we needed to unwind. Our dog absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to roam. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. A true retreat in nature—can’t wait to return!
