House vacation rentals in Barron County

My family was looking for a large house to stay in for spring break that was peaceful and relaxing. This stay checked all of those boxes and exceeded our expectations. The pool was so much fun and with the cold weather outside it was like a tropical paradise in the pool area (both were heated)! I really had a hard time leaving that room and with the attached wet bar and bathroom I really didn't have to! Arcade area was also great, got to challenge my kids to some classic games that I grew up playing. Great hosts as well, so responsive to any needs or questions that came up. My family forgot a couple coats in the entry closet and Andy had them shipped back no problem! My only regret is not inviting more people to enjoy the pool, Arcade and living space!

my family of 5 drove from Alberta Canada to stay at this cute little water front property, and it was the most adorable little spot to stay. the canoe was accessible, there were smart tv's in the room and living room, full sized kitchen, massive bathroom with laundry (thank you for this). the neighbour's were quiet, the neighborhood friendly and walkable and the water piping hot AND drinkable for being on a lake (drinkable water is a huge bonus if your on a lake). The manager was very friendly and super responsive, easy access and beautiful waters all around. we would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was outstanding. I woke up and watched a eagle fly to his nest.

Mike is a great host; super responsive and helpful. The house was perfect for our large family to hang out by the lake. It was comfortable, very clean, and has a lot of space to spread out and relax. My husband even worked remotely in the boathouse overlooking the lake. The loons made great office mates… Highly recommend this place!

I loved how I felt like I was visiting my Grandma's house while I was here! We all enjoyed sitting in the adorable screened in porch at the cute little table. Plenty of room for 4 ladies. Cumberland is a small town so every bar and restaurant downtown was a super quick walk from the property. Very convenient and spacious for a bachelorette party.

This is our second time staying here and had another wonderful visit! Gorgeous property with a beautiful house and views. If you stay on a Thursday night I would highly recommend attending pizza night at the Enchanted Farm right next door. You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful stay at Steve’s place. It’s exactly as described. Quiet street, right on the water and the boat and kayaks were enjoyed by all the family. Super close to everything we needed but quiet and peaceful in our own little part of the lake. Rice Lake itself was wonderful, the food was good, the Speedway was awesome and 4th July fireworks from everybody else’s property were an added bonus. Would stay here again in a second.

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our grandchildren and their uncles with all the fun game options. Plenty of open living space for everyone to gather comfortably.

We were there for a wedding. I wish we could of enjoyed the house and the town more. It was perfect, the pictures don't do it justice. The house was easy to find. There were notes through out the house that helped improve our stay and make things easier. The homeowner answered all our questions immediately. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully we will be able to go to Chetek again and I would definitely stay here again!

Karie was so polite, and easy to talk to. A down right sweetheart!! She got back to me right away when I had questions, and she was open and honest with everything. The house was adorable and cozy!! Karie has it decorated in a way that took me back to a simpler time in life. Where I couldn’t help but feel relaxed, and want to just slow down and enjoy the time with my family!! The location was in a quiet part of the town which made sleeping so nice!! I would recommend this home to anyone who was staying in the Rice Lake area.

The house was perfect for a group of 8 of us on an ATV/Golf trip. It had easy access to the ATV trails and is very close to Tagalong golf course. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of parking for our trucks, trailers, and ATV’s

This cozy cottage is just that . very cozy and perfect location. It is clean, quiet and relaxing.. great price with even better view. highly recommended

Micheal was very responsive answering questions I had. The area had a nice view of the lake and the house felt very roomy. I would recommend for a peaceful getaway. The firepit was nice to relax at in the evening.

Another great stay at Kevin's place. Kevin was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We hope to stay again next year when we are in the area.

We had a lovely time in Chetek. The home was beautiful and unique. It was walking distance to several restaurants with a beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommended and we will be coming back!

This is our 3rd year staying here and continue to love it! It always has so many toiletries and amenities that is so appreciated. The hosts are always very responsive and flexible with an added check in day last minute. Thank you so much for the beautiful home that we are so fortunate to stay in for opening deer season and hope to continue every year😊

Our group of friends take an annual outing to remember friends of ours that are no longer with us. This year we chose Stephanie's listing. It was very nice, just as described. It was roomy enough for all of us to hang out and do our own thing or gather together. We found ourselves going to some of the local restaurants and establishments that were recommended, and even took a side trip into Chippewa Falls. We had a little bit of trouble working one of the thermostats but it could have been us. This would be an awesome location to come hang out at in the summertime! We really appreciate all the responsiveness and hospitality, and hope to book with you again!
