Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Chesil Beach

Well what can I say.... Hideaway House is a little gem. Cara has thought of everything and the house has a home from home feel about it. It is tastefully decorated, the beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the shower was wonderful. We even managed to enjoy the garden and have breakfast outside. And it has the added bonus of parkin right outside the front door. We were a party of four ladies staying and enjoyed our 'weekend retreat' very much. The 'Welcome' hamper was very thoughtful and was very well received by all including the doggy treats. Cara is a superb host and we would highly recommend a stay at Hideaway House.

This was a last minute arrangement and we felt very lucky to find such a lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend.

The only thing I would have changed is to have stayed for more days, the house was beautiful and the pool table, darts and pool were great fun, our group was entertained for hours. Some problems occurred but nothing Andrew didn’t do his best to sort out, he is a very accommodating host and would love to stay again.

Had a really fantastic stay at Gill’s place for a joint 30th birthday celebration. George met us upon arrival and was happy to give us recommendations and show us round the house. The house itself was lovely - spent many hours playing pool or board games round the giant dining table. We also loved sitting by the log fire or running out in the rain to the sauna/steam room. Beds were comfy and bathrooms in good clean condition. Would love to return in the summer so we can enjoy the pool and outdoor space!

Three generations of our family enjoyed a lovely weekend at the end of January in Tristan's house. It is a beautiful and comfortable house and Tristan is a friendly and available host. It is so convenient for the beach, pubs and cafes. It was always warm and cozy especially after a dip in the sea. Tristan left us a lovely hamper of local produce which was a nice touch. We look forward to staying there again soon.

All I can say is WOW! What a beautiful, little place to call home on our weekend away! Absolutely spotless, warm, cosy, so cute and had everything we could possibly need for our stay! I would stay again in a heartbeat!!!!! 🥰

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The location was so peaceful, yet everything we could've asked for was really local. The beds and sofas were very comfortable and the property was spotless. The beach was nearby, along with lovely coastal walks and the town of Bridport. It's a fantastic location and we would love to retun. Thank you Janice!

This place was absolutely beautiful and made for a super cosy christmas. There were 7 of us and 3 dogs staying then hosted for 10 on the big day. There was more than enough space for everyone and a lovely dining area for hosting too. The garden was safe and secure for all 3 dogs to run around and play. The hot tub was a huge perk for us and we all loved spending time in there. Danni left this place absolutely spotless for our arrival and was super responsive to my many questions before our stay. We absolutely will be coming back in the future for another family get together should Danni be willing to have us.

An amazing stay! Easy check in, felt really comfortable and cosy. David and Pamela are so helpful and friendly. Tonnes to do in Weymouth; we'll be returning to P&D's - definitely not just because of David's scrumptious homemade bread rolls and Pamela's delicious mulled wine! would recommend :) / have already recommended

Had a fabulous 4 nights staying here and loved it. Easy check in and instructions, great location on sea front and harbour/shops just a few minutes walk as was M&S/Tesco for food shops. Fair few steps to the apartment but no trouble for us. Surprising & lovely courtyard with seating outside apartment door. Apartment really spacious, modern bathroom & really liked the open plan lounge / kitchen. TV had Netflix which was bonus and large fridge freezer. So comfortable for a few days. No issue with noise as bedroom on the back of the building. Definitely stay again as loved the location & homely feel. Thank you !

My wife and I wanted a couple of days away with our dog, and Lucy’s little gem was perfect The hosts were super friendly, but out the way enough and the location and house were ideal for us during our stay

A perfect getaway in a quiet location with the most beautiful views. Has everything you could need and we had fun exploring the local towns. Howard is very friendly and helped us when we had an issue with our car! Enjoyed the trip so much we’ve already booked to come back in the summer. Highly recommend!

Loved, loved, loved this magical place. Lots of interesting furniture, super comfy bed, our own little courtyard and entrance to the park just through the garden gate. Very friendly welcome. Highly recommend.

Amazing host and amazing place with the town of Weymouth just 10mins down the road and pubs and places to get food right on your doorstep.

Fantastic week! Barnacles was brilliant for our 3 generation family holiday in Lyme Regis! Fabulous views from the lounge, great location minutes from the shops, lovely restaurants and the beach and sea. The parking spaces were so handy and the check in and unloading was easily and took no time at all! Can highly recommend

Tony was a great host and made us feel welcome on our arrival. It was the coldest weekend in 12 months, and when requested an extra heater was provided. facilities were fine for a short stay. The location is walkable to central Weymouth, past some lovely coastal views and in easy reach of the Jurrasic Coast (you will need a car)

We loved Emily and Ed's apartment, where we stayed for three nights. The accommodation is very spacious, extremely clean and comfortable, with everything you may need. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the village. Communication with Emily and Ed was very easy and friendly. We are very much hoping to come back. Thank you Emily and Ed for a lovely stay.

The apartment was a real home from home, with everything you could ever need, it was warm, welcoming and comfortable, there was a lovely welcome pack of fresh milk, and cream teas in the fridge, tea, coffee etc, with condiments in the cupboard. There was even dog treats and a water bowl for our little dog. There was hand wash, washing up liquid, dishwasher & washing machine tablets, tea towels, shower gel and toiletries. The towels were "Christy" and the bedding was "Dorma".

Kate and Mike were very responsive and gave us plenty of recommendations before we arrived. They were also flexible with our request to change our check-in dates due to unexpected issues on our original date. Their place was amazing—so peaceful and exactly like the photos. It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Although the weather wasn’t great on our first two days, we still enjoyed our stay because it was so inviting, especially the bathtub, which allowed us to relax. We will definitely book again for our next visit to the Devon and Dorset area.✨🤍

What a wonderful property to stay and relax for a few days. Peaceful surroundings and a lovely garden to sit and enjoy the view. The property had a “home from home” feel, was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. Comfy beds and no noise or light pollution meant a fab nights sleep. Great communication with simple and clear instructions. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This property is top notch. The location is so peaceful and the views from the bedroom are stunning. First thing I did every morning was open the shutters and drink in the view of the sea. In addition the home is so very tastefully appointed and really is a classy holiday home. Little extras like biscuits, cleaning materials and kitchen consumables were really appreciated. Future guests should be prepared to drive by car into Lyme Regis though or face the uphill walk home - about 20 minutes up a steep hill. My husband really enjoyed it but I found it hard - I suppose it depends on your fitness level. We had no luck in getting a taxi or a bus but we were there over the Christmas/New Year period so that could be the reason. On the other hand it is so convenient to get to lovely places like Beer, Weymouth and Dorchester. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and like many other previous guests we did not want to leave.
