14 Wood Farm near Charmouth

TerryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Clean, cosy and comfortable and still feels new. Good shower and comfy beds (although my 5’6 son said the single bed was a bit short and narrow for him - the only issue as everything else was perfect). The holiday park is quiet and well maintained, we enjoyed the heated pool and dog walking area around the fishing lake. The pygmy goats are so cute!

Stunning Home with Roof Terrace at Silverlake

SudaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I recently had a fantastic weekend stay with some friends for our annual Christmas break, and I can't recommend this property enough! Rhian communicated effectively before our stay with clear instructions as well as throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. The amenities were outstanding with a private luxurious hot tub that was perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. The rooms were super clean, most importantly the beds were very comfortable! The gym/spa was well-equipped, making it easy to stay active, while the nearby nature walks provided a beautiful backdrop for our Christmas break. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their time here, and it really felt like a home away from home. This property is ideal for a getaway with friends, and we can't wait to return in the summer!

Idyllic country house & organic swim pond

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ian's place is absolutely stunning. We stayed as a group of 8 friends and thoroughly enjoyed a cozy long winter weekend. The house had everything we could need and then some - comfortable beds, lovely fireplace, soft towels, plenty of space for everyone to relax, and all the kitchen/dining supplies needed for cooking big meals together. The pictures don't do it justice! The surroundings are also beautiful - we enjoyed a wander down to the beach and had lunch in the great local pub. Ian was incredibly responsive, helpful, and flexible both before and throughout our stay.

Short stroll to Quay, restaurants and shops

NickyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great time staying at Mel’s place. Plenty of space for a family 6, Bright, spotless clean and Mel has thought about everything! Lots of little extra’s to get you started including tea, coffee and sugar to shampoo and condition! She even left a lovely bottle of wine and with our welcome note. The location was perfect as we walked everywhere from the house. Clear instructions for parking 2 cars too. We will definitely be back in the future and would recommend Mel’s place to others! Thanks Mel.

Perfect Country Home. Plenty of outdoor terraces

DoloresRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Manor House did not disappoint, it was stylish and cosy, lovingly furnished. Views are fantastic and I especially loved seeing, on one side the stable yard which were beautiful and housed impressive horses. Just a few minutes to the freshwater swimming pond was great! Hosts were really helpful. I recommend Hive Beach Cafe if you like fish approximately 30 minutes drive we went back twice so good! 3 nights at Manor House was not long enough as so much to see in surrounding area and just to chill out in the lovely drawing room a must.

This property has got to be in the best position right on the sea front. Everything on your doorstep including the beach. The flat is deceptively spacious and has pretty much everything you need and more. Don is a legend and from the moment I booked this flat nothing was too much trouble and very informative. can't wait to go back!!!

Lake View Studio, Wareham, Dorset "Forget-Me-Not"

JanisRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed for 9 nights at Forget-me-not studio and loved being there. The location and setting are stunning, the studio beautifully equipped, very comfy and spotlessly clean. Jo is a kind and friendly host and has thought of everything! The welcome breakfast basket was a lovely extra touch. If you're an active, ablebodied person there is so much to see and explore in the immediate grounds; and it's all set within gorgeous East Dorset. If, like me, you're less mobile, then it's a wonderful opportunity to sit back and enjoy the main event.....the lake, its wildlife and the sunsets. Thank you, Jay and Jo, for a lovely holiday.

Wild Rose dog friendly caravan Rockley & sea view

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The caravan’a main living area felt much more spacious than we imagined and there was quite a good sea view. It was right by the amenities yet still quiet. Parking was a little tricky but we have a big car and you can always use the main car park which always had spaces and felt very safe. Lovely resort with friendly, helpful and professional staff.

Kelpers Barn at Whistley Farm

JustinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Kelpers Barn was so clean and well equipped I honestly thought we were the first guests to have stayed there (until I read the Visitors' Book). It fully justifies the Tourist Board's Gold Award. Maximum stars (and dog-friendly as well). Special thanks to Tim and Debra for accepting our booking, made the afternoon before our arrival.

Tincleton Lodge, Tincleton, Dorchester - 5 Star

AngelaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a wonderful family holiday in this beautiful house. Peaceful location but not far away from so many attractions and amenities - walks, beaches, picturesque views and villages, museums, shops, cafes, restaurants - we wish we could have stayed longer! And the house itself was perfect- full of charm and character with everything we needed. Great quiet walks, table tennis and tennis and a lovely garden space to relax in. Clean, well equipped and so comfortable. Jane was a superb host too- so helpful and friendly. We loved this place!

Wellhayes -The Barn: Modern Rustic by a Lake

AbbieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Such a lovely spot. It was an oasis of calm. Great to be in the middle of the countryside but also still close to the beaches. The lake made it extra special. We loved being able to have a leisurely row in the boat or sit watching the dragonflies and moorhens from the hammock. Our eldest also took a refreshing dip. Just perfect to get away from busy jobs. We had beautiful weather but we could see it would still be a lovely relaxing getaway any time of the year.

Waterside Mill Holiday Cottage

StephenRating, 5 stars39 months ago
The lovely cottage was spacious and well appointed with everything you could need for a relaxing break. Set in a wonderful peaceful location but only a short drive to the M5 and ideally located for the north and south coasts and many picturesque places to visit. Theresa and Derek were very hospitable, making you feel welcome from the start, Karen made a lovely cake for me as I'd mentioned my visit was to coincide with my 60th birthday. You get full use of the pleasant garden and all it's facilities and is a real home from home, I'd certainly return again.

Cottage with stunning lake views

BeverleyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Abby's place truly felt like a home from home the moment we stepped through the door. Only staying here 3 days, was not enough...as there are so many lovely walks, and in the area. The views are absolutely stunning, and i would call this place a real hidden gem. A couple of lovely local pubs in the area, and can recommend the food at The Lord Nelson! We took a drive to Lyme Regis for the day too which is a 40 minute drive away. A beautiful view from the french windows right outside our door of the lilly stream, and a friendly cat that came to hang out with us....not to mention I could have spent 3 days alone wandering around the magical garden! I would love to come back again soon. Thank you to your husband for showing us around and settling us in.

The Hideaway - sustainable hidden gem with hottub

JamieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Hideaway was absolutely perfect for us. Despite being in the middle of nowhere, it was easy to find and check in. The place was spotless on arrival and very cosy having the heating on to great us too. The hot tub was also ready for us to jump straight into when we got there which was great. Amy was brilliant in answering our questions before we arrived and even had the travel cot made up for our little one on arrival which saved us travelling with ours. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The Croft @Warrens Farm, Blackdown Hills AONB

Jaya Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely stay in Gemma’s clean and well thought out cottage, Gemma was a responsive host and was on hand for any questions. We were a family of 3 and felt like home from home and lots of additional perks. Cottage is in a peaceful area but with a car many places are not too far off such as the Jurassic Coast and lovely pubs around to relax in. We had our faithful furry friend with us and she was well catered for in the cottage and in area. Place was warm even in winter warm once the heaters get going and the countryside for was a sight to behold. Friendly, warm and inviting and will book again if possible.
