Wonderful location, close to town. Had everything in the kitchen to enjoy thanksgiving with the whole family!! Definitely recommend and will rebook!!

The house was a perfect getaway for Thanksgiving! The kids enjoyed looking for crawdads in the creek, the playground, and yard for our Turkey Bowl. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed our stay!

My family and I were gathering together from 3 different states to one mountain cabin in Georgia. We found Beary Happy because it met our requirements. Upon arrival, it was much better than expected inside and out! Rainy times were not a problem because the home had plenty to keep us occupied while the resort had lots for us to do when tge sun shined. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming, providing us far more than we could have hoped for. We lacked nothing but groceries, which were nearby. The cabin was spotless and smelled fresh! We hope to go there again in the future and we thank you for hosting us.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

Our stay was great! There was 14 of us and the home was extremely accommodating for everyone. Plenty of space and great views just as advertised. I hope to book this home again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay! So close to blue ridge and everything the area has to offer. Debbie was super responsive, very easy check-in, and perfect space for our family of 3! She even put out a pack and play for our little one. Will be staying here again in the future!

Great cabin and awesome host! What a beautiful home and great location! The cabin was amazing and super high end! We even had a Christmas tree set up which was a really nice touch. We come up to the Blue-ridge area every fall and I have to say this was one of the nicest cabins we’ve stayed at in the last 15 years. Our host was amazing and super engaging and you can really tell she cares about you having a really nice stay. Beautiful view! 5 star!

Can I just say WOW?!?! This stay was truly a dream Christmas family vacation that we will never forget. We had more fun spending time in the cabin than we did going anywhere else. There was space for the adults and kids to equally enjoy. The hosts were so caring and accommodating and even had a Christmas tree put up for us before we got there. The amenities, the space, the cleanliness, etc., were incredible! Lifelong memories, thank you so much!!!

We had a great stay! Sitting outside by the fire while hearing the river was so relaxing. Easy to get to local town and other surrounding areas. Perfect place for 4 couples. All beds were super comfortable, kitchen had plenty of supplies, hot tub was amazing.

The property looks exactly like the photos. It was spotless and felt like home. The decor, the linen, the amenities, everything was perfect. I would 10000% stay here again. I love that all the surfaces are hard or leather which means it can be properly cleaned between guests. They provide everything you need and more. The hot tub was clean and amazing. There were extra towels and slippers. Oh and let’s not forget the fireplace! Book it, you will not regret it. The only thing I would recommended is another television (there is only 1). Maybe one in the upstairs bedroom.

This will our 4th stay. It is our favorite place. Peaceful and tranquil. Beautiful falls and scenery. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!

Our family of 8 plus two pups really enjoyed ourselves at BVC. We were able to relax and have tons of space to spread out and still feel cozy and comfortable. Moira and Doug gave clear instructions, were very helpful, answered all questions. Kitchen came with everything we needed to prep full meals. We only used hot tub once but enjoyed it! Lots of towels. We really enjoyed our stay and would return if we are ever in the area. We hiked Helton Creeks Falls and went to Helen GA for Christmastown fun. Thanks Moira and Doug. Blessings to you both. Had an amazing stay at Harold's country home! The home was cozy, well-equipped, and tranquil. Highly recommend for a Blue Ridge getaway!

This place was amazing and beautiful! The views were incredible and it was so peaceful. Nancy was great and extremely responsive. We were even more thrilled than what we thought we’d be and would absolutely come back!

We had a good stay at Whippoorwill. We cook a lot and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with different pots and pans and also basic necessities (salt pepper/sugar/oil/vinegar). The A/C works well and surrounding area is prettt quiet, it backs up to a national forest. The home was one minute away from a popular day-use area with lake access, picnic tables and trails. It's only a few minutes from the dam day use areas (including river access) and maybe 8 min from Morganton point day use area which was the nicest, most beach-like lake access point we found. I will say based on the google map image I was expecting the home to have more of a lake view, that was the only downside, but it's summer so the trees are grown in. You can see it from the upstairs windows and from part of the porch though and we were able to see fireworks displays over the lake in July 3rd and 5th (we could see some of the 7/4 ones over the dam but trees blocked some of them). I would stay here again.

Sarolta is a great host and her cabin is absolutely the retreat our group needed. We needed a warm cabin with breath taking views and a well stocked kitchen. We cooked every meal and appreciated the quality of the cookware, glassware, dishes, utensils, and service ware. We enjoyed hot coffee in cozy rocking chairs overlooking the mountain view followed by wine in the evening by the outdoor fireplace. The cabin was a perfect ladies weekend intent on soaking up warmth, comfort, serenity, and friendship. We will be back!

Very responsive host, amazing spacious house with gorgeous views! Kitchen had all appliances we needed. Outside patio had plenty of chairs and gas heater was a game changer!

Absolutely beautiful! Check in was so easy and the space was lovely. Definitely want to come back here sometime soon! Yvette and Luis were super responsive and incredibly helpful.

This home was a perfect getaway over Thanksgiving. Although it is just off the main road, it feels very secluded bc of the evergreens, and is incredibly quiet and private even from its own road. Open kitchen/livingroom space was really nice for our family to play games, dine, and watch movies. Very comfortable seating. Each bedroom was comfortable and cozy, blackout shades were perfect. Property is just a few minute drive to McCaysville town which offers riverfront shops & restaurants, supermarket & coffeeshops, and our favorite Rum Lady Cakes Cuban Cafe (delicious coffee and food). Ducktown is a closer town to the north but we never made it over. We definitely would book this property again during a different season to enjoy more of the trails and water.
