Wonderful location, close to town. Had everything in the kitchen to enjoy thanksgiving with the whole family!! Definitely recommend and will rebook!!

My husband and I have been taking our family on mid-winter excursions for over 20 years. In the last 10+ years we’ve added 2 son-in-laws and 6 grandkids. Alternating between Georgia and East TN, this has easily been one of our favorite getaways. Our grandkids loved the downstairs area they felt was especially provided for them, but lured the rest of us too! While we had several options for activities in the area to keep the kids occupied over the long weekend, it wasn’t necessary as they preferred to stay at the cabin and enjoy all the fun and games provided along with movies and popcorn made in the vintage looking popcorn cart! The cabin is lovely and very well stocked in every way. There was an issue with the heat-pump, but our communication was seamless with the Fordham’s and they had technicians sent out quickly to look into the situation. The cabin is set in a quiet, lovely location that affords privacy and relaxation. We would definitely recommend Lake Dakwa Lodge.

The house was a perfect getaway for Thanksgiving! The kids enjoyed looking for crawdads in the creek, the playground, and yard for our Turkey Bowl. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed our stay!

My family and I were gathering together from 3 different states to one mountain cabin in Georgia. We found Beary Happy because it met our requirements. Upon arrival, it was much better than expected inside and out! Rainy times were not a problem because the home had plenty to keep us occupied while the resort had lots for us to do when tge sun shined. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming, providing us far more than we could have hoped for. We lacked nothing but groceries, which were nearby. The cabin was spotless and smelled fresh! We hope to go there again in the future and we thank you for hosting us.

We absolutely loved the house! It was perfect for relaxing and spending time connecting! We really appreciated every small detail throughout the home down to the dog bones and bowls for the pups. These ladies thought of everything. It felt like home! Having stayed in many rental properties, this home is a shining star and one I would highly recommend! It was a positive and truly a memorable experience!

We had the most relaxing time staying at the Toccoa Riverfront Cabin. It was so peaceful to be alongside the river and yet be minutes away from restaurants, shopping, etc. Each day, a couple of geese came in along with a mallard duck pair. With the crystal clear water, it was cute to see their little webbed feet swimming in the water. We especially appreciated being able to bring our "fur babies" who also really enjoyed staying at the home. We slept amazingly in the upstairs bed. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone & would absolutely consider returning again.

Our stay was great! There was 14 of us and the home was extremely accommodating for everyone. Plenty of space and great views just as advertised. I hope to book this home again in the future.

The house is BEAUTIFUL , kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to cook and the view was BREATHTAKING!! Plenty to do with 5 littles at the house. They enjoyed the game room and trampoline. The weather was cooler so we did love the outdoor fireplaces, hot tub and did some fishing on the dock. Unfortunately the pool was out of service during our stay and we were unable to utilize due to the cool weather and also it being under construction. I’m sure in the warmer months it is worth it. If you are looking for a place to stay on Lake Blue Ridge, this is it!

This was a nice place to unwind after two nights of wedding activities. I only wished we had more time to spend there. This home is located down a small lane with a home located on either side of it. So if you are looking for a private place , this may not work for you. However i never seen or heard the neighbors. The home is super clean and comfortable. You have plenty of towels there some comfort items left in the home in case you forgot them. I seen wild turkeys in the back field early morning.

This was absolutely one of our most favorite AirBnB experiences! It was the perfect private getaway for my husband and I. The place was spotless. Debbie had everything so thoughtfully arranged and labeled, you could tell she had thought through everything we would need. She added the sweetest personal touches and even had gluten free treats waiting for us! Great communication. If we ever travel to Blue Ridge again we will definitely book again!

Great cabin and awesome host! What a beautiful home and great location! The cabin was amazing and super high end! We even had a Christmas tree set up which was a really nice touch. We come up to the Blue-ridge area every fall and I have to say this was one of the nicest cabins we’ve stayed at in the last 15 years. Our host was amazing and super engaging and you can really tell she cares about you having a really nice stay. Beautiful view! 5 star!

This is our second time visiting this home. It is beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed a wedding rehearsal dinner hosting friends/family and it served as a prep area for our beautiful bride and her bridesmaids before the wedding just down the road. We enjoyed the large open space and the firepit! Only remotely negative thing I would say was the "curious" neighbor across the road up on the hill could benefit from a new hobby. Unfortunately her inquisitivness could easily be interpreted as Karen behavior, especially being directed towards 13 year olds unloading cars for their parents. Her, nor her behavior kept us from enjoying our joyful weekend surrounded by our family and friends though. I would definitely recommend this home, and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for hosting our family!

Can I just say WOW?!?! This stay was truly a dream Christmas family vacation that we will never forget. We had more fun spending time in the cabin than we did going anywhere else. There was space for the adults and kids to equally enjoy. The hosts were so caring and accommodating and even had a Christmas tree put up for us before we got there. The amenities, the space, the cleanliness, etc., were incredible! Lifelong memories, thank you so much!!!

The property was absolutely beautiful! We loved walking along the creek to the water fall with our toddler. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Joe was very good with communication if I ever had questions. The location was only minutes from town so while it felt as if you were in your own little paradise you were never far from all the action. Things that sealed the deal for us: -The amazing screened in porch. We spent many days out there playing games with our coffee and relaxing. - The handicap accessible entrance and bathroom. We traveled with a 91 year old and this property was PERFECT for her needs.

The cabin was perfect! Clean, comfy, lots of board games! We enjoyed our stay!

Had an amazing stay at Harold's country home! The home was cozy, well-equipped, and tranquil. Highly recommend for a Blue Ridge getaway!

This was an incredible location for a friend’s lowkey bachelorette trip. Not only were the views stunning, but the home itself was a dream! I wish we had longer than a weekend to enjoy the space. Everything in the house was well thought out and things were labelled so you knew where to put them. On top of that, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Downtown Blue Ridge is not too far away and there’s a good horseback riding place nearby as well. I would book this place again in the future!

We had a good stay at Whippoorwill. We cook a lot and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with different pots and pans and also basic necessities (salt pepper/sugar/oil/vinegar). The A/C works well and surrounding area is prettt quiet, it backs up to a national forest. The home was one minute away from a popular day-use area with lake access, picnic tables and trails. It's only a few minutes from the dam day use areas (including river access) and maybe 8 min from Morganton point day use area which was the nicest, most beach-like lake access point we found. I will say based on the google map image I was expecting the home to have more of a lake view, that was the only downside, but it's summer so the trees are grown in. You can see it from the upstairs windows and from part of the porch though and we were able to see fireworks displays over the lake in July 3rd and 5th (we could see some of the 7/4 ones over the dam but trees blocked some of them). I would stay here again.

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

We loved the cabin. The views were beautiful. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the views and loved the outdoor fireplace. It was a great cabin and we would definitely come back.

Place was great for a weekend stay to visit with family.
