The Dakwa Lodge was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the lake and hillside that felt like stepping into a painting. Simply walking onto the terrace brought a sense of calm and serenity. Inside, the cabin was spacious, with plenty of sleeping accommodations. The decor and linens were luxurious, and the master bathroom felt like a private spa retreat. The recreation room was perfect for all ages, with the popcorn machine being a big hit. We even enjoyed making tabletop s’mores, which added a fun and cozy touch. Pam and Gary were exceptional hosts—extremely attentive and thoughtful. They reached out well before our trip, checked in to ensure we arrived safely, and made sure the cabin was in perfect condition. Their responsiveness and genuine care made us feel truly welcomed and supported throughout our stay. Our family had a wonderful experience and definitely plans to return!

My family and I were gathering together from 3 different states to one mountain cabin in Georgia. We found Beary Happy because it met our requirements. Upon arrival, it was much better than expected inside and out! Rainy times were not a problem because the home had plenty to keep us occupied while the resort had lots for us to do when tge sun shined. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming, providing us far more than we could have hoped for. We lacked nothing but groceries, which were nearby. The cabin was spotless and smelled fresh! We hope to go there again in the future and we thank you for hosting us.

Cottage was as advertised and much more!! From seeing deer’s in the morning and evening as well as the recreation center for some arcade fun. The locution was within short drives to winery’s. Downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge are also short drives for grate places to eat and shop. Definitely will be back!!!

I cannot say enough about this place! The photos and descriptions do not compare to the overall peaceful, warm, inviting feeling you get in this space. Me and my 3 children and our beloved dogs were so well accommodated and felt so safe and at home the entire trip! It was a perfect home base for day trips and so close to the most precious town of Ellijay. The hiking around the cabin and walks on turniptown road were like something out of a movie. We were all inspired to write, draw and take photos. We visit a new small, mountain town yearly but all agreed that it will be hard to not just return here. Thank you for sharing this happy place with us! And even in crisis being an amazing host with incredible communication!

Beautiful Cabin is an understatement. Every amenity you could want. The cabin has everything you could need or want during your stay. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Ellijay!!!!

We set out for a quick relaxing few days and fully accomplished it here. Beautiful home with fun amenities. Deer came in the yard everyday. People in the town were so friendly. Brandon was a great host , very responsive and helpful. We will look to stay again in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous riverfront house! We really love the place and would love to come back! We felt in love with it since we first entering the property. The river is beautiful and peaceful; the house is clean and stunning. It is a true “glass looking retreat” house with the beautiful view of the river. We took our 90 years old dad and our sister’s family and we all enjoyed foraging sticks and building bonfires by the river. We saw flocks of deers came by the river stream. The house has plenty of card games, table games, and a video station to keep the kids entertained. The amenities at the club house was a plus. We had fun playing mini-golf, pickle balls, tennis. There is also a huge heated indoor pool. The house is 30 minutes away from Amicalola Fall, 750+ feet tall. There are a lot of winery along the way that we didn’t have time to try out. Russell, the host, is very nice, responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this place!

The place is beautiful and peaceful and relaxing. It’s also located in a resort full of amenities with plenty of things to do and see. Nick is a great host and always quick to respond and help with whatever you need. I can’t recommend this place enough! 5 stars all the way!!

Place was out of a hallmark movie!! Very cozy and clean!! Ashley was very attentive!! Will definitely come back!!!

Amazing place & would love to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We took advantage of the gorgeous views from the screened-in porch every morning and enjoyed the fire pit every night. We loved hiking the trails nearby in the Aska trail system. We also loved exploring the town of Blue Ridge - all within a few miles of the house. Alecia's place is in a great location and is the perfect house for bringing people together. We hope to be back again soon.

We’ve stayed at the Yurt twice now, and we loved it both times. If you book a lot of cabins around Elijay/Blue Ridge you’ll know that most of them are on mountainsides and not always the easiest to drive to. The Yurt is much more accessible than most other stays in the area. This goes for the other rentals Ben and Meghan have on their property as well. The space itself is large and open and you’ll wake up to natural light streaming in through the skylight and the sound of birds in the forest. Private without being far from anything. Meghan and Ben are kind and welcoming and excellent communicators. The check out instructions are easy and minimal. Thankful to have the opportunity to enjoy this unique stay once again and hope to be back before long.

This rental was perfect for our extended family during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was very close to our cabin and convenient to all of the activities we had planned for the weekend. We will definitely try to use this again when we have family in town.

Michelle’s place was absolutely amazing! We stayed here for a New Year’s celebration with the family, and it exceeded all expectations. The cabin feels brand new with its modern design, high ceilings, and cozy atmosphere—it truly felt like a home away from home. What made our stay even more special was the thoughtful Christmas décor throughout the space, ensuring we didn’t miss the festive season. We loved spending time by the wood-burning fire, playing board games, and enjoying the arcade machines—a fun touch for kids and adults alike! The property itself is breathtaking, surrounded by nature and a beautiful creek. You can even hear the soothing sound of the water from the cabin, which added to the peaceful vibe. This place was everything we hoped for and more—worth every penny and every minute. We’re already planning our return!

We had a great time during our guys' weekend getaway! The snow was a beautiful treat, adding to the charm of our stay. Leah's place was well-stocked, perfectly located near trails (we did a snowy hike to Springer Mountain), and wonderfully remote. The beds were comfortable and thoughtfully spaced, giving everyone their own private space to unwind when needed. As with any home, minor issues can arise, but the two small problems we encountered were addressed quickly and professionally by the maintenance team. Leah was incredibly attentive and one of the most responsive Airbnb hosts we've ever had – her care and attention to detail truly stood out. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Note for future guests: This home is very remote, which was exactly what we were looking for. Just keep in mind that internet speeds in this area are slow, and cell service is spotty – but that's part of the charm. It’s the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the peaceful mountains!

Our family of four couples and 2 young kids met here for a Christmas gathering. It was perfect for our needs. The home was decorated for the holidays including a gigantic beautiful Christmas tree. In addition to the luxurious bedrooms, there was a den, living room and large playroom with billiards, kitchenette and enormous fireplace. There were decks all over the back of the house looking out over a beautiful small lake. The grounds were very well kept. We enjoyed walking, swinging, and sitting by the firepit. I would highly recommend this house if you want plenty of room to spread out and a genuine mountain house experience.

What a great stay in Blue Ridge! Beth’s cottage is minutes from downtown, beautifully appointed, and she’s a perfect host. We had great communication, easy check in and lots of local recommendations. We can’t wait to come back!

We recently stayed at this charming cabin for Labor Day and had a delightful experience. The cabin itself was beautiful—quiet, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only minor issue was that it could use a broom for tidying up. The creek behind the cabin is a stunning feature, though getting to it involves a steep descent. For the best experience, be sure to follow the provided directions carefully, as relying solely on GPS might lead you astray. Overall, it was a wonderful retreat in a picturesque setting.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The home was peaceful, Host was responsive, It was lovely and over all just very welcoming. We felt right at home! One of the best thanksgivings my family has ever had.

We enjoyed our stay! It was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. The complimentary coffee pods and creamer were a nice touch to the place, making it feel very homey. Although, it was not “baby” proof, there were a few table nicknacks low on the shelves but I just placed them high up so he couldn’t grab them. We loved waking up and seeing the deer in the back yard, that was the kids highlight of the trip! Overall, excellent stay! Would definitely stay here again.
