House vacation rentals in Gilmer County

What an awesome spot for a weekend getaway! We decided on this place because of the fire pit and hot tub + it looked so cute in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised when we showed up and the cabin was decorated for Christmas! It was a great touch and we all raved about how awesome the cabin looked. The cabin is situated in a quiet neighborhood with a fire pit, which was awesome for roasting marshmallows. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the cold evenings! Would recommend and stay here again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin! It was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas, making it feel like a magical winter wonderland. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need and more, which made cooking and dining a breeze. This place is truly a children's paradise! There were so many games and activities to keep the kids entertained and they had a blast exploring the outdoors. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a fun-filled day. The cozy atmosphere, complete with a warm fireplace, made it the perfect retreat for our family. The primary suite upstairs was spacious and beautifully appointed-a real treat! Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. It was the perfect getaway for our family to kick off the holiday season and make memories. We will be back!!

My family and I were gathering together from 3 different states to one mountain cabin in Georgia. We found Beary Happy because it met our requirements. Upon arrival, it was much better than expected inside and out! Rainy times were not a problem because the home had plenty to keep us occupied while the resort had lots for us to do when tge sun shined. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming, providing us far more than we could have hoped for. We lacked nothing but groceries, which were nearby. The cabin was spotless and smelled fresh! We hope to go there again in the future and we thank you for hosting us.

My family and I rented out Chris's cabin for Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was exactly like the pictures. Everything was neat and very well stocked. Each morning we would see a family of deer about 10 feet from the porch. It was majical. We would definitely rent this place again. It isn't far from downtown Ellijay which was nice, as well. Highly recommended.

I went with a few of my friends and we had great time. It was very peaceful and the view is spectacular.

We set out for a quick relaxing few days and fully accomplished it here. Beautiful home with fun amenities. Deer came in the yard everyday. People in the town were so friendly. Brandon was a great host , very responsive and helpful. We will look to stay again in the future.

Absolutely Breathtaking! The Looking Glass Retreat is hands down one of the most beautiful Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. The riverside location is pure bliss, offering the perfect backdrop for outdoor relaxation. The soothing sound of the river, stunning views, and opportunities for wildlife spotting created an unforgettable experience. The cabin itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen utensils to cozy furnishings. It was the ideal place to spend quality time with family. The pictures simply don't do this place justice. You have to see it for yourself to truly appreciate its beauty. It's worth every penny!

Cabin met our needs and was good location for day-tripping to the surrounding area. Host very responsive - minor issues were addressed quickly. Would definitely stay again.

What an amazing trip we had! The kids loved everything in the basement and having their own space. We are already dreaming of our next trip, we would love to come back! Highly recommend.

My family of four had a wonderful time in Kristen’s place. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The house matched the photos and listing. We enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace on the cold nights we had during our stay. My boys enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch and playing cornhole. The house is in a very quiet and secluded location, but within a very short drive to downtown Blue Ridge and a quick ride in to Ellijay. We will absolutely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We took advantage of the gorgeous views from the screened-in porch every morning and enjoyed the fire pit every night. We loved hiking the trails nearby in the Aska trail system. We also loved exploring the town of Blue Ridge - all within a few miles of the house. Alecia's place is in a great location and is the perfect house for bringing people together. We hope to be back again soon.

Our stay at Kaluna Farm was magical! Meghan and Ben were so accomodating and approachable. They put so much love into their property and it overflows on all those who visit. Our kiddos loved it as well! It was the perfect place to go unwind and connect with nature, but also only a short drive to downtown Elijay. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for a December getaway! Well stocked kitchen, warm even without the fireplace, and the hot tub was perfect. Wifi was fast and worked well all weekend. Easy to get there with the written directions.

We loved our stay! This was for a couple's trip and I loved seeing my friends' faces when they walked in and saw how beautiful the home was. The bedrooms are perfect for couples. They all have queen beds and either en suite bathrooms or a bathroom right outside the door. There is plenty of drawer and closet space as well. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain and the stove and oven are amazing! The table is large, we had great dinners and played games comfortably. The guys enjoyed the arcade games! Ellijay downtown is nearby as well as many wineries. Don't miss Roo Mountain it was our favorite! But, we also just enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful home and enjoying the fireplace and views. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay was as amazing as our host! Scott and Karen went above and beyond for us. I've never experienced such a responsive host. The setting was beyond my expectations. It was private, exceptionally clean and incredibly peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again!

The house is beautifully adorned yet comfortable. The two separate levels worked out great with the parents on the top floor, and the teenager on the bottom. You cannot easily access the river from the property, due to a very steep embankment, so my teenager who loves to fish was unable to do so at the property. The resort is extremely large. Maggie at the recreation center was so helpful and informative about all the amenities available. The best part for me was seeing deer each and every day. Since we did not have dogs with us, we left the gates open at the property which allowed deer to enter the backyard each morning. Patti and Peaches were accessible when questions arose and were quick to respond. For our family, this was a beautiful and tranquil retreat, that was much needed.

We booked this property the day before we checked in. It was a last minute birthday getaway for my boyfriend / Valentine’s Day weekend trip. We visited from Birmingham AL! I cannot believe just how beautiful this home and property are. If you’re on the fence, just BOOK IT! The house has a perfect layout, it had everything we needed and more! The river runs behind the property and it’s the most peaceful sound I’ve ever heard! We plan on booking this home at least once a year as we’d love to make it “our spot”. It was incredibly clean when we checked in. I mean, all around it’s just incredible!! The home, the property, pictures do not do this place justice! See for yourself! You will not be disappointed! We’re already looking at our calendar for October! THANK YOU!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The home was peaceful, Host was responsive, It was lovely and over all just very welcoming. We felt right at home! One of the best thanksgivings my family has ever had.

We enjoyed our stay! It was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. The complimentary coffee pods and creamer were a nice touch to the place, making it feel very homey. Although, it was not “baby” proof, there were a few table nicknacks low on the shelves but I just placed them high up so he couldn’t grab them. We loved waking up and seeing the deer in the back yard, that was the kids highlight of the trip! Overall, excellent stay! Would definitely stay here again.
