House vacation rentals in Charlton Kings

The house is well decorated and felt comfortable. Some of the furnishings feel luxurious. We loved having access to the pool and restaurant, which were only a minute away. Unfortunately, there was a high-pitched buzzing sound in the kitchen that made it a bit difficult to spend time in the kitchen and living room. Michelle did offer to send someone to have a look at this. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy even more of what the area has to offer. We had a fab family weekend at Lesa and Laurence's place. It's a beautiful location with plenty of outdoor space to explore and enjoy. The house has real character and the hosts were really helpful.

Warm, comfy and clean. Ideal location near the restaurant and spa. Great location and facilities for a gathering with my friends. Communication with host was excellent and always helpful. Would definitely return.

We loved our stay at Lucy's place, it was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The grounds that the Coach House are in are just gorgeous and Lucy was kind enough to show us around. We'd love to come back in warmer months to enjoy them more and use the tennis court and swimming pool. We really enjoyed that The Fleece Inn pub was such a short walk through the grounds. The perfect comfortable base for exploring the Cotswolds!

We absolutely loved our stay at Charles’ beautiful Coach House. The photos don’t actually do it justice. It’s a delightful cottage brimming with country chic. The grounds are beautiful and we didn’t even use our vehicle the entire weekend instead choosing to walk to the nearby villages. We loved being there in winter but would like to come again in the summer too! Highly recommended.

Lovely property, met our needs well for a large family get together with young children. Well equipped kitchen, gorgeous views. The site itself had all we needed for a great weekend and we added shooting and archery at Cotswold Range next door which was within walking distance and fab afternoon. The spa on site was lovely and the outdoor pool fresh! The kids loved the indoor pool. The on site restaurant was great for our first night there. All in all fabulous.

A fantastic house, in a fantastic location with excellent facilities on the Lower Mill Estate. The Host was responsive, the instruction were clear and easy to follow, and we highly recommend visiting.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable and having access to 3 bathrooms was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals for our group, and the dining area offered loads of room for everyone to sit together. The living room was cosy and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to Tesco's if you need something and super quick to get to both Cheltenham and Gloucester. The house also had plenty of private parking too which was something we really valued. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and accommodating, answering all our questions quickly. This house was perfect for us, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend for families or groups looking to stay in Gloucestershire!

Anne was a totally 'star' hostess! She provides a wonderful haven, one that I have just left after staying nearly 8 weeks. Thoughtful use of the space, providing everything needed for a self contained unit, as well as your own bathroom + front door. Very quiet area but close to bus routes into town and other areas. Morrison's supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Spar etc, closer. Very informative folder with lots of local information. Anne answered queries speedily. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Thank you Anne, you are the best hostess! x

Just returned home from a wonderfully relaxing girls weekend with family at Jenny's place. Location was perfect with very easy walk into centre of Stow. Jenny was there to meet us on arrival. She was the perfect host, welcoming and friendly but not at all intrusive. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped.

Group of 11 of us stayed for a weekend in October. We had a lovely time in this home, everything we could need and very responsove host (Nicola). Thank you!

Excellent location within easy distance of bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. Easy to check in and flexible on check in and check out. Very well appointed and kitted out accommodation which was very clean and lacked nothing. Comfortable beds and linens. Very sociable space. Helpful, responsive and informative hosts. The eight of us had a fantastic stay in such a lovely house.

We returned this year again to celebrate Christmas (early) with family. The house is warm, cosy and there’s plenty of space. The kitchen is full of everything you might need. Everything works beautifully. Beds are very comfortable and plenty of hot water to shower/bath. Lovely pub/cafe within a 3 minute walk. We will be back.

Debbie's place was a perfect base to explore Upton. spacious yet cosy and well presented. The house is within a stone's throw of many restaurants and pubs and there are good walking routes around the local area.

Stayed as a stag group this weekend filling the whole house. Nice aesthetics, very clean and a well equipped kitchen. The lounge was the perfect size to fit us all in and the place was private enough to enjoy the time together. Walking distance into town with plenty of pubs and markets as well as a convenience store across the road (it closes at 7pm). We took the train to Leamington Spa on Saturday which was only 10-15 minute walk. Emma was a very accommodating and conscientious host. She is very proud of the property and is very available when we needed some extra parking permits or advice about the location. Obviously not a typical stag location but the property was great and the town itself had some nice pubs for the time we spent there. Most of the guys in the group were considering revisiting for trips with their partners!

Lovely property in a great location that was very handy for walking into Cheltenham. Nice quiet street but still close to everything. Well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay and a lovely welcome hamper. Personal greeting for check in was a nice touch as well. Just to note if you are bringing a dog (which we did) the garden isn’t completely secure and our dog did manage to squeeze through the gaps in the hedge!

Anne’s place was simply perfect for us and our aging dog. Lovely space next to the house for walking etc. House was clean and had everything you needed for a long or short stay. Next to the town Main Street and all amenities and restaurants. Roger was a lovely man and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay and will be back again if they will have us! Wow! You couldn’t wish to find a more beautiful setting for a cosy break in the Cotswolds! We had the most amazing time at the Barn. We stayed for just the weekend but wish we could have stayed for longer. The barn is a stunning renovation in a picturesque setting, immaculately tidy, spacious, beautifully dressed throughout, a little slice of English paradise. Our hosts Becky & Tom were so helpful and lovely, they gave us a host of recommendations, from restaurants, pubs and bars to local farm shops and walks. We were greeted with a variety of local treats on arrival. Communication was fantastic and they made us feel so at home. If you’re looking for a romantic break or a little peaceful getaway, you must visit the barn! We will definitely be returning and can’t thank Becky & Tom enough for making our stay so special. Can’t wait to go back x

Elizabeth was an excellent host. We stayed for work purposes and we had everything we needed. Would stay again if we work in the same area.

We had a great weekend meeting up with a group of friends. The house has everything you need and more what with the games room and extensive garden. The fact all the rooms are en-suite is a real plus with large groups. Will certainly be revisiting at some point.
